  1. The rapier is known to be better on minions (obviously) which is preferred for long-term camping. The rapier is known to be better on Dagganoth Supreme and tormented demons and Kril. It is also the best weapon for all dragons, and anything under ~300 combat besides waterfiends (where cls sucks, by the way) and skeletal wyverns (where the cls is best). There are two shady areas: Saradomin GWD and Bandos GWD. On Zilyana you would either duo or trio with a maul, or solo with a divine. If you solo with divine, you can use cls, but the rapier will allow you to ss faster thus saving you trouble with minions (not that you should have many, but still). Also, if you were using torva (highly unlikely, but still), the rapier would still approximately equal the cls in dps. For Graardor the same applies, with the exception that it is much more feasible to use a defender, which again favours the rapier.
  2. If you are cannoning + ranging stuff for a long time, and it drops bones (particularly big), it'd be good. You can only carry so many boost potions though, and having a yak + 10 pouches in your inventory is also a bit pointless (+ you need summoning restore). Hellhounds are just a little too slow to do this (I tested). Probably if you were safespot cannon + ranging any sort of leather dragon. Merc gloves are good for Nex. ;) If you use armadyl AND you don't rapier the mages.
  3. You should post your stats & quests done to see how well an account can perform in pvp. There is only one build however that can trump any other, and that's maxed.
  4. Claws will speed up Kuradal tasks quite significantly (as these increases go), as you can expect a claw spec to hit 50% higher than a rapier hit at least. If you casually drink 1.2 doses of spec recover per minute, that's 250% special/5 mins or 5 specs, on a maximum of 125 hits, probably 110 or so. Claws would then speed up the task by 2.5 hits per 110 hits, or 2%. That's more than, say, tassets, about on par with bcp/torso or berserker (i). If cannoning in single-combat this can be more significant if you use your specs on targets far away from the cannon. This 'frees up' the cannon to fire at closer opponents, which it can hit more often per rotation. Short answer: no, don't bother. Heal up after overloading unless you are protected (e.g. at steels) in which case your health is a great overload timer. Claw spec, ks spec on irons/steels/miths/wyverns.
  5. In that gear, you will need to eat on wyverns and scarabites (waterfiends, too, but in other gear of course). However if you cannon scarabites, you're in for a treat, they are quite brutal (probably the most dangerous slayer task besides mauling wyverns and DKS/KQ). @Hedgehog: you could also not flash piety and let the +25% defence do its job ;).
  6. It's the fastest strength-training weapon (in f2p, not sure on the gravite rapier though), probably. Until you reach 60 attack (which you can't train with the g2h). I'd personally just go for Monkey Madness asap and never bother with a weapon you'll never use again.
  7. Yep get void, everyone should just have a set as it's quite useful for ranging. For yaks, use void deflector with adamant darts, rune darts, adamant/rune knives etc.
  8. Urns are 20% more xp/hr so they are definitely worth getting. For fishing, you got to cut the fish and eat the roe then reclick the fishing spot. You should also use a granite lobster but I think that's minor.
  9. Bagged plants are neat for 1-40 farming, though quests are much better. If you could afford the 100 gp/xp (1.3b for 99) you're talking ~150k xp/hr I should think, which is not much.
  10. Battle robes when bursting, 2m/hr. When barraging, 4m/hr. Those are the incomes you need to justify using Ahrim's. Incidentally, if you are using battle robes bursting, you are making so little money that waterfiends are more efficient summoning xp (and black demons, much more so if you already have a yak).
  11. About one.
  12. I imagine the infernal ashes stabilising at ~3k each, which would make cannoning black demons good effigies, charms, xp AND break-even or profit. Just what I need (and a yak :P).
  13. Colour-coded for your convenience. Powercutting oaks it took ~10 mins to fill, give or take. It doesn't work on ivy. Teak should be good.
  14. Woodcutting urns do not seem to work on ivy. Meh.
  15. They have occured in the past but that has been patched.
  16. There is never stuff you need behind doors you can't do. Doors you can't do are defined by your level. I don't think boost-required doors are ever needed.
  17. You would bank the iron in the dwarven mine. There are a few iron rocks near the entrance of the resource dungeon, and a deposit box just inside. Might be some competition there. I think you can do ~1k ore per hour, not sure.
  18. Mine iron ore to 85 then switch to rune.
  19. Smalll teams > large teams for gp/hr, though large teams have more common payout. If you take, say, 12 mins for KC and 18 mins for a kill duo, that's 1 kill per person per hour (very optimistic of course). In a trio, you can shave a few minutes off the kill time, perhaps (assuming pernix + divine or something) do a second kill. If you can do one kill per 30 mins, it's still .75 kpph (possible), if you can do two per (50 minute) trip it's .8 kpph (doubtful). For quartets, 2 kills on a 45 min trip, it's 2/3rds, 3 kills in 60 mins it's .75. So in your 11-13 player team, which apparently lasts one hour, you do ~72 minute trips including killcount, in which you need to get 10 kills to get close to a trio. I don't think 6 minute kills are the norm at all, with soul split healing etc. I think in a small team, pernix + divine is definitely best (Woox mentioned in the trio vid description that he can't duo without it). In larger teams void becomes better as always.
  20. Nex

4 people 12.5% is too low but other than that I think it could work. Effectively you'd be increasing the drop rate for all items, which can work. Scrapping kc would also be good.
  21. Not misread, I'm thinking long-term ;). First thing you got to do is beat dragon slayer etc. for some fast atk/str xp.
  22. I think earth runes, perhaps with fog gloves, are the fastest xp. Fast free air runes can be good xp I guess, you trade your unnoted essence for noted essence + runes, which is essentially free runes for the runner (100% loss for the crafter of course). I think you need to pay 8+ runes per essence to get some decent runners going, which will lose you more cash. If you crafted say, 3 runes per essence you'd be paying 5 air runes + 1 rune essence for 5 xp. That's quite a lot. http://forum.tip.it/topic/251931-sonics-f2p-runecrafting-guide/ Guide on f2p runecrafting - quite comprehensive.
  23. Few things - I like planting watermelons. :???: It's costly, but the herbs pay for it, and it's calming to me. (and I worked so damn hard for that watering can!) <_< I also like supercomposting... so that's staying too. Don't think I mentioned not using supercompost? You should of course. If you mean turning melons to compost, for that you can use pineapple (from Arhein and Dell Monti).
  24. Getting members > getting 100 total in the short, medium and long run. I'd get it now and start farming/summoning etc, those will take time especially if you have to gather your seeds. Get MTK started up ASAP and you need some source of raw gp to fund that. I'm not sure what would be good for that, but I imagine alching rune drops works best - fight some metal dragons or something.

If you can be bothered get a task, it'll help quite a bit. Use an arcane stream necklace if you own one, or get one. Staff of light + fire surge > cog + void mace due to the ability to use a soul wars cape but you don't have 95+ magic/90+ and overloads, so that's not possible.
