  1. I don't think he's looking to eliminate gods at all. He's aiming for a world without war, not without gods.
  2. It depends a bit on what you're doing. Turmoil will probably give you more accuracy/defence (with the attack/strength/defence reduction and all), while you'd expect the 16% strength to exceed the 10% from Turmoil. So, if you're not looking for accuracy or defence or soul split healing, then go with Zealots. Not sure about vigour.
  3. There is a point like that, but even when slaying with dscim, you should keep attack and strength 10+ levels apart. If you train 68-85 slayer with ranged and melee, meleeing only low-defence tasks, you should be able to get about 70-75 strength first, then go back and forth between attack and strength until 70/80-85 (ignoring defence, because that's useless) or whatever strength you'd end up at at 85 slayer.
  4. But 70/x/70 would be useless if you didn't have Barrows armour and whip. There's no need to train attack until you're close to getting a whip (say, 84 slayer).
  5. ...or you could program it as 4/3, as normal people do, as the old full slayer helmet probably had (well, that had 7/6)... Anyway, no information yet on the crew unlocked from the Light under the Sea, although it's rumoured to be a Wisp. Pretty cool, if it's useful.
  6. You know that .999999... recurring is equal to 1, right? In other words, how much is 6 * 4 / 3? It's 8, isn't it? Reefriders are a pretty big letdown, they should at least have given them something cool like +5% in all stats or something (not stacking) or Solidarity or even just 1200 combat or so.
  7. Ah, I was assuming that 33.33 would be recurring, lol. Well, I guess the stats mean that morale missions are now easier than ever. Merchants may be very powerful, but I think that's hardly a bad thing, as it was taken into account in the balancing already. There'd be nothing wrong with 35% merchants, as 33.33 is not really an improvement.
  8. You can also try the elite tier desert amulet. Also, certain skill pendants (now discontinued) are white or gold, I think prayer/construction?
  9. Juhaa, hellhounds are horrible for charms, and he need 90k xp to *98*, the question is 'how to get to 99'. Stop recommending such extremely slow and pointless methods >.>. An hour at hellhounds wouldn't give you 90k summoning xp anyway (because golds are only 60 xp each or something).
  10. Nice updates, Snap Shot is now more useful, but Snipe seems equally useless... it's about twice the damage of a regular basic, but also takes twice as long to use, meaning all you do is lose 8% adrenaline.
  11. So with a terracotta merchant you'd expect 8 trade goods per mission? That's pretty nice. 50 and 75 terracotta is absolutely horrible though, steel starts at 140 :o.
  12. If you can get a Saradomin sword, then that's probably the best (with a high ranged level and barrows gear, you can solo Zilyana right?). If you have dscim and whip, then I'm not 100% sure on which is better, but if you were starting at 60/60/65, I'd say, train to 80 strength or so, then move to attack, then at 70 start using a whip on controlled, then at 99 strength finish up attack and defence. That does depend pretty heavily on what you're training on though - if you intend to go crazy on steel dragons and whatnot, you'll want to go for attack sooner. Another way to go for it is to kill low-defence monsters with dscim/ss on aggressive and strong monsters (e.g. metal dragons) with whip on controlled, to mitigate the accuracy difference between whip and dscim.
  13. We could pick up an undead chicken at the Phasmatys farm, feed it some overload, bring it to Avalani, then add the chicken-summoning rock to a hand cannon.
  14. I think you mean runes, not ruins, which isn't an issue really, as abilities don't use ammo anyway. Using a wand doesn't reduce accuracy, it reduces damage. If you don't want to pay for repairs, you should a) not be doing any combat and b) be using an Armadyl battlestaff.
  15. You can send out ships with dummy captains, yes, but there's a chance you'll end up in the drydock and have to pay for repairs, and you'll lose out on trade goods for sale at the Trader, so it's not worth it if you value gp at all. That is assuming you take a negligible amount of time to send ships with appropriate crews compared to sending them with random crews.
  16. Not helmets, shields are the third item that affects accuracy. Damage is not affected.
  17. Controlled would be worse (=slower) than training attack and strength separately though. For one, you'll be getting defence xp, for another, you'll get strength xp slower, therefore less damage. The fastest way to 65/65/68-69 would be to train strength to 65 first.
  18. @Sbrideau: Okay, I got that case instead, thanks :). @Bruno: Thanks for the feedback :). Definitely no dual monitors, and yes Win8. I'll have a look at better keyboards in a store then, where I can test them. Anyway, order sent, thanks everyone :).
  19. I believe that's modernscape.
  20. There's a group of separate servers running a version of Runescape based on a 2007 backup. It's not the same as RS in 2007, as it gets updates and such, but it doesn't have EoC and it's a good bit closer to 2007 than modern RS.
  21. Why do you think so many people disapprove of EoC (and moved to 07scape) :P?
  22. You're still only targeting abilities, when the real problem goes much deeper, down into the equipment system and level/equipment balance. I'm wondering why you would make 2h the AoE specialist, when we have barrage (and chins) as primary/traditional AoE attacks, which are not 2h-specific, and when higher attack speed is better for AoE blasting. In the same way I'm wondering why dual wield would be any good versus targets with more lp - those are typically monsters with high defence, and those are weaker versus 2h weapons, ideally spears and pikes or polehammers or something. I'm also not convinced that melee needs a powerful AoE ability at all - in my opinion, it would be better to go back to pre-EoC styles with melee having more defence but no range, ranged requiring no melee defence and magic relying heavily on freezing and debuffing to survive. I know I've posted this a lot already, but this is my suggestion: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1364ur0y9FBkzGCMt1146Xhe8wNWnL3zEgN6I3YD6aZE/edit?pli=1. I see you came up with/copied the dw > 2h > shield > dw triangle, which is good (suppose that it has merits).
  23. If it's hybrid, it will say 'hybrid' or 'all' instead of a style. If it's power, it will have a damage value in addition to armour and lp. Yes, the variety is largely pointless. There is no difference between a primal dagger and a primal rapier, or battleaxe and longsword. You can, for the most part, ignore anything but level and attack style.
  24. ... yay? It's good, but so bad. I don't want the SoF, but I don't want a SoF update either...
  25. That died, Hughs Horde took over from that I believe.
