Gnome restaurant rewards
Okay, thanks to supuh and APERSON/Rcty, two of my questions have been answered. The following two remain. I appreciate those who tried to help (thanks!), but info from the KB (as opposed to personal experience) isn't what I seek. I've read the KB, but Jagex sometimes makes mistakes. I need confirmation from someone who actually tried these things ingame - that's work, and that's how people get guide credit. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Gnome restaurant rewards
I have some questions for those who've played this game (I know questions belong in Help & Advice forum, but this is new, you guys have already done it and there's no guide. So ...) 1. How much farming xp do you get for launching a seed pod? And is it true they can only be launched outdoors (per Jagex Knowledge base)? 2. Is it true that a seed pod is single use? 3. Is it true that buying the premade food items from the restaurant won't work for deliveries? 4. Need an explanation about the reward token ... the KB doesn't seem to make much sense :(.

Does your PIN annoy you?
I wouldn't mind putting in the pin if they didn't move the numbers around for each click. It's bad enough that they are not in order (though that's understandable, I guess), but usually when I click a number I'm already looking for the next one ... and then it moves! I'm too old for this! Nevertheless, and despite the fact that I sometimes crash every ten minutes and constantly must re-enter it, I still use it. I couldn't even *think* of re-acquiring the stuff I have now.

What's the deal with coins?
I confess I have gone from a penny pincher to a coin dropper. Some monsters might drop a few hundred coins that are worthwhile to pick up (at one session I might pick up 2-3K). However, when I'm down killing Hill Giants for limpwurt roots, I generally have a full inventory of runes and gems *way* before I've gotten all the limps I want. But after being down there an hour, I have maybe 300 gp meticulously picked up. A single limp is worth more to me than that, so at the end, I grab the last limp and the cash goes on the floor. I also used to stock loads of grey wolf fur (thieved from Ardougne) in my bank, and sell them in Varrock to the fur trader. 3360 gp seemed like a lot of money to me then. Now it's pocket change (not that I'm rich - far from it!), and just not worth the time it takes. Food for thought.

I'm a member.........now what?
Tip.It's New Members Guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=new_members_P2P_guide.htm might be of some help. It discusses quests that unlock new areas of the RuneScape world, how to get started with member skills, and includes pointers to other helpful Tip.It guides for members. Welcome to P2P!

Can F2p burn maples?
I'll add some authority here (although the Jagex KB was correctly cited already). Maples are *not* considered a P2P item. F2P could in theory chop them, if there were any in the F2P world. Members can bring maple logs to F2P and sell them. They *are* a F2P item and can be freely traded and sold. F2P can burn maples. Some F2P's like to buy and burn maples, as they are better firemaking experience than the lower level logs. Hope this helps.

member's staffs
kwimbob gave very thorough and correct info. Info that is a little less detailed is listed in the staff section of the Magic guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=magic_guide.htm#staffs

Ok new member, what should I do first?
Tip.It website's New Members Guide is here: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=new_members_P2P_guide.htm It contains info on member skills, what quests are good to unlock member areas, and points to useful Tip.It guides. Special thanks to marlin85, mini193, and yosi22 for pointing out the guide. :D :D :D

Recruitment Drive quest help
Use the quest guide on the Tip.It website under "Quest Guides"? It tells how to do all of this stuff.

Fremennik Trials Help
check your bank in case you kept them - that would keep you from getting them again. If you dropped them, you'd have no trouble getting them again. If they're not in your bank, try every option on every wall in case you missed something. If nothing else, it will be fun. Also be sure to follow the guide steps for Seer's house in order. Also, check your ingame quest guide (click the asterisk, then the quest) - it may tell you where you are in the quest and what you need to do next. Good luck.

Guilded Alter
For the record, you do not need to have the most expensive incense burners to get the 100% prayer boost (on top of the altar's base prayer boost). Torches and Candle lights don't boost at all, but any of the three kinds of incense burner (mahogany or whatever) are fine. Be sure to light both of them, though - one burner gives only a 50% bonus.

If you want to be cured right away, drink all three doses of Relicym's Balm. I only recently learned that little fact. Happy thieving!

Music: underground
I'm so sorry that our Music Guide seems to have given the wrong location. You are correct that this is what Jagex says. The odd thing is that Jagex has not marked the song as members only. I was so anxious to find a good answer for you that I actually checked Other Fansites' (gasp!) music guides in an attempt to give you better info.

Offensive/annoying signatures?
Folks, just the mild arguments you've seen here are an example of why such things are not allowed on most fansite forums. A good piece of advice that has been handed down for CENTURIES is to "never discuss politics or religion" in settings where conflict isn't appreciated, such as workplaces and office parties. Both (and religion more so) can be hotbutton issues with Very Strong and Deeply Held Personal Convictions on all sides, which quickly leads to conflict. Personally, I do resent the odd way in which religion has been gradually censored out of American public life, first by Hollywood, then by over-enforcing the Constitution, and then by political correctness. I think we Americans need more beliefs in our everyday lives. But in fansite forums which are monitored for conflict, it just doesn't work out.

Mini Game: Pyramid Plunder
Hey, that's good to know. I was worried someone might accidentally sell theirs. Wow, now that's VERY interesting!! We need someone to check and confirm this - anyone who can, please get some xp values so we can get this into the guide!!

A friend in need?.... I am a jerk..
Nope. When you report someone, from what I've heard, a "snapshot" of the last 60 seconds (?) of conversation is attached to the report. Jagex looks at what was said, decides if a rule was violated and what they are going to do. When they notify the punished person on their message centre, they include the transcript so the person knows what they said and where Jagex thinks they broke the rules. That means, if it was just you and your friend in the area, he will jolly well know who reported him. Someone else I know was joking with a close friend about being "hacked" and "giving away his password". A pmod was nearby and evidently reported him. He got a temp ban, and then a PERMA BAN. He appealed and lost. He is devastated. They tell you not to joke about violence in airports. Don't joke about rules violations in the game, either. Mmmkay? Kejixu, sorry you lost your friend. And sorry that a forum user misled you about anonymity. :(

Skill guide: Runecrafting
Just a few things... 1. Mention whether or not the abyss can be used to make death runes without completing the quest, under abyss section. [pokemama edit: no] 2. Add that tiaras cannot be used for combination runes. Under combo rune section. [pokemama edit: a tiara can be used to gain access to one altar - the other type talisman must be sacrificed as far as I know. It doesn't consume two talismans.] 3. Can combination runes be used for a spell that only needs one of them? Under combo rune section. [pokemama edit: yes] 4. People rcing using the abyss should probably wield either an axe or a pickaxe. Takes no inventory space, but provides another route in. Power runecrafting section. [pokemama edit: that's what I do - abyss section should already list the obstacles and tools to get by? not sure if it does] 5. One tactic for getting pouches from the Abyssal monsters is bringing a few prayer potions, monks robes, holy symbol, and other prayer-boosting items and killing leeches until you get one. A bit safer than bringing armor, both because of decreased danger from pkers and the fact that there's no worry of death once you're in the abyss. When you're done, tele out. Power runecrafting section. [pokemama edit: getting pouches does not belong under power crafting. some posters below claim they could not restore prayer.] 6. Some people bring an ectophial to the abyss just in case... I'd include that. Power runecrafting section. [pokemama edit: the long walk to port phasmatys to get another one is quite disappointing. I'd leave this for people who have one to decide for themselves.] 7. To avoid risking the loss of a Glory Amulet with the abyss, some people take a ring of dueling instead and go to castle wars bank from the altar, then withdraw a glory ammy and tele back to edgeville. Not the most time-efficient way, but the least risky for those who can't afford the lost of a 100k amulet. Power runecrafting section. [pokemama edit: already there] EDIT: Also, under "Talismans"... Pyrefiends drop Chaos talismen. [pokemama edit: will check bestiary and will spell it as "talisman".]

fremmy trials question
Note that the stats are not unlike rune helm, so I don't view the warrior as much of a bargain (though I could be wrong - people who know better please correct me lol). I'm using a berserker right now while I'm trying to train my strength, just for that little +4 bonus. The archer and farseer helms are favored by rangers and mages since you actually get a little bit of defense out of them. If you find anything wrong with our quest guide, be sure to post in the Website Updates and Corrections forum in the Quest Guides topic so we can fix it. Enjoy the quest!

recharging crystal bow
Make sure you go to see Ilfeen who is alone. The marked spot isn't too bad of an indicator, though I think she actually is at that quest start point nearby. She is a roving elf too, so when you are in one of her spots, wait a good five minutes for her to turn up. Islwyn (always with Eluned) is the guy who sells them, and for 900K you will get a brand new bow and still have your uncharged seed, lol. Can't tell you how many players have accidentally done this!

Farming question
progress in farming, if you are not spending money on tree seeds (which are the fastest route), is glacially slow. I'm cheap, so I don't buy tree seeds and rarely WC to get them. So what is slow? Example: I *hate* RC with a passion and almost never train it. My RC is only a bit lower than my farming, which I do quite regularly. I've spent almost nothing on farming, though. So as said before, if you go with the tree seeds you'll do better. Though I think it will cost more than the guy said. ;)

Question about managing my kingdom
I've heard it SAID that it's 24 hours after you deposit your money. I've heard that disputed. So I don't really know. Did you read the guide? You could try PMing the guide author to see what he says; he's active in the forums.

Computer Trouble, or Runescape?
I'm not saying this will work (because it depends on the relative age of your computer) - but I was having this problem myself. I was advised to download a new version of Java (I went there from the RS page where it asks you to select high or low detail - down at the bottom is a select java window and there's a link to get more info). The "latest and greatest" Java version gave me MORE PROBLEMS. I think my computer was too old to use it properly (800MHz machine ). So be careful which version you decide to get. I think I finally went back to an older Java version, but I also did a lot of cache cleanouts. One odd thing that was really bogging down my computer was that my Netscape Download Manager had over 1000 entries in it, because I end up downloading a *lot* of tiny images for fansite databases, lol. Clearing that out helped me a LOT. Good luck.
