  1. What does it ask for login details of? And what does the site it takes you too look like? If it asks for runescape details, then does the site look like the Jagex login? If it doesn't then somethings wrong with everyone. What was the url? Everyone should watch where they're putting any sort of login details. :D
  2. They probably just did something like... took items from their familiar and logged out right away after. Quite similar actions to going down a ladder or trapdoor. :D Either that or she's just lying. :P
  3. Yeah, I do this after range a lot too. =\ However I'm not too worried about it, cause my stats are about equal, and since str is always a little bit ahead I just use def or attack on my whip to straighten things out. :) It would be nice if it was clearer which option would train what though. That little interface isn't exactly easy to read.
  4. Yeah, gotta be careful with links people send you. Good luck gettin things back in shape with your account, and thanks for letting everyone know about this. :)
  5. I'm pretty sure law crafting is quicker and more money still. I dunno about how much profit for hour it is, but there's a lot more running involved (even with tele's) in astral crafting, and they don't even sell for as much as laws, after the double part of course.
  6. I've never used a scout. I tried it once, but it sucked a lot. Every time it got killed I had to walk ALL THE WAY BACK, with no teleports to help me out or anything. Plus, there aren't any pkers out there anymore, so a scout is less needful. If you see a rev, just turn on protect from mage and run away. They aren't hard to escape. Bring a couple lobs or something just in case. ;)
  7. I'm pretty sure it's just luck. :P
  8. I'll try that farm, but I don't think it worked. Also, Tip.It says it can be a bale, and all the stacks of hay of turned to bales anyways. I can't find any stacks.
  9. I'm trying to make a scarecrow for my falador diary, and I need a sack of hay right? Well I have my empty sack, and I'm using it on hay bales, I tried more than one, and none work! "Nothing interesting happens." Why??
  10. Learn something new every day. I like that website. This article had me in stitches: http://www.snopes.com/lost/fraction.asp The comment from the senator about the Dewey Decimal System and Truman was hilarious. Oh lord. "Oh no! The poor kids are confused!! We can fix that! *nix knowledge*" My god, what's next? This is appalling, imo. You can't just go through life ignoring everything that's not a whole number. That makes me want to just let out a string of curses right now. :XD:
  11. Nobody's even mentioned this: :P Herblore's in bad enough condition already. If potions became free in one place, and inevitably in others, herblore would become completely ruined for the most part. I don't want this to happen at all. :P The only way to make any money in herblore right now even is to grow the herbs yourself. And you might as well collect the seconds too while you're at it. :P

I agree that that's kinda dumb. :P Though it's not something I'm too worried about. I have a ton of hammers in my bank. :P
  13. I'm pretty sure energy potions don't cut into your profit too much. I myself prefer not to use them, but it's your choice. A lot more work worryin about the potions, in my opinion. :D
  14. Two hours, maybe a bit longer, I think. Not a super long time. :)
  15. I use both. Mostly because I often forget about my Bunyips. :XD: Why not try out Bunyips and see which you like better? I'd keep Guthans around anyways, instead of selling it. You never know, you might come across a monster thats better to kill with Guthans anyways. :)
  16. That sounds like a cool idea. But I also agree with whoever said something about thing being frozen in time in this game. It doesn't seem to me like a place where the time will really progress... I dunno.
  17. Well, I personally cannot solve a Rubiks cube. I can get one side and... that's where it ends. :XD: So I have no interest in this minigame anyways. But even knowing I would never play the minigame, the rewards really don't seem all that worth it. The best one is the 1k lamp, imo, and even that isn't worth all the time when you could just go train the skill. :P Good idea for people who like those cubes, but the rewards don't seem terribly worth it. Also, I don't see how well that work when all we can do is click... Controls would be terribly to work with I'm sure.
  18. Know what? I think this is a great idea. :D What's wrong with unicorns having a little more sparkle and shine? Here in Runescape we just treat them as horses that happen to have a valuable appendage. :( Unicorns are supposed to be magnificent creatures! I'm all for this. :D Note to anyone reading this: I am a girl. Thank you for reading.
  19. O.O *Goes to read this guide everyone's talking about.* I want that many tokens!! :XD: Anywho, it doesn't really sound like you're into thinking about things that much. Forgive me if I'm wrong. People who ARE into thinking about things and figuring it out, tend to have better grammer. Anyways, if you can't take the way that game works, don't play it. If you REALLY want to play the game, then learn how to play better. Read the guide that's been mentioned. :P Do something about it. Don't just come here and rant about things.

Yeah mining is definitely a great money maker. And the mining guild? That's fairly close to a bank. I don't see anything wrong with the skill. However, this is the rants forum, and you are totally allowed to not like the situation with mining. :)
  21. If you want to mine coal, I say mine coal! There aren't a lot of amazing ways to make money in f2p, but mining coal is pretty steady income. I'm not sure how long it would take, but if you can get say... 400 coal an hour? That's about 25 hours. Doesn't seem too terribly to me. If you like mining coal, I'd say definitely go for your plan. :D Powermining sucks and is boring, and there isn't any profit in it. What I do for mining sometimes is mining mithril and coal in the mining guild and super heating them into bars. If you smith them into plates and then high alch them, you still make a profit. That would be my suggestion. It isn't super boring, you get a LOT more exp per trip, and you get the bonus magic and smithing exp.
  22. I'd say to do what someone else said. Cut them at Draynor and burn them later. They're too much of a bother to try and sell, and you don't make very much off of them anyways if you DO manage to sell them. And exp is for the win, so fm them later! It's the quickest way, and that way you can have company too!
  23. Ranarr's are a popular herb. The potion they make (prayer potion, in case you don't know) are used very often, and the potions are made often for herb exp. There is a lot of market for them, so you certainly shouldn't be having problems selling them at mid. :)
  24. ONLY 85. :P Lots of people find that an incredible challenge in mining. Mining certainly isn't the most popular skill. :P Getting the wc level for yews, hunting level for red chins, or fishing level for monks is much easier. :P To the thread creator: Sounds like you buy your food, and probably other things along that line. Have you ever tried being self-supportive? By that I mean fishing and cooking your own fish (or even fishing fish, selling it, and buying the cheaper cooked fish, though you lose out on valuable exp like that), making your own potions if you use them (only if you farm the herbs though), and crafting your own runes. Maybe you don't have the levels for that now, but if you get those levels, you can start doing things you enjoy (like slayer) with no cost to you, just the effort to gather and prepare those supplies. Saves you a lot of money, adds some variety to your Runescape day, and you get a lot more overall exp and levels!
  25. Bump, from the second page. I hope that's okay.
