ROW INCREASES RARE DROP RATE! But not in a significant enough manner that most people want to use the RoW. :P The mechanics of the RoW have been explained on these boards many times, and we've been told the same things from Jagex, so we know how it works, and we know that yes, it DOES affect rare drops. But not everyone finds that its significant enough to even worry about it.

I think that's a great idea! I'd definitely grow higher level allotments. :D If they can be used for super compost, or some herb potion, I'd be even more there! (If they're higher than watermelons they better be usable for super compost. :P) I think someone should suggest this on the RSOF, not because farming NEEDS to be updated and we NEED more allotment things, because we don't, but because it would just be more fun and a nice way to level farming at a slightly cheaper cost. :D

I'm excited for this game to come out! I'll definitely have to try it. :D I want to know exactly how the "members" aspect of it will work, and if there will be a large free game like we have with Runescape now. I remember reading something about micro-transactions being the way this game would work, but then I also read in that link that it would work the same way Runescape works now. Either way, I can't wait to try it out and see what it's like!!

I don't Barrows much, but when I did I did 6, and whatever other monsters were attacking me and I just decided to kill. KC doesn't effect barrows drops. It works like this: You kill whatever monsters you kill, and the items they would NORMALLY drop are put in the chest. So higher KC just means more runes/coins/etc.

I read something on the forums, posts from Andrew, about changing how the trade limit works between long-time friends in the future. I'm sure Jagex wishes they didn't have to do what they did, implementing a trade limit and all, but they did it for a reason, and it's the way it is for a reason. They're trying to make it better though, so all we can do really is either quit playing, or keep playing and tolerate it.

They should have not added a "quick prayer" button until they tested it. If it's quick prayer that's giving you the problems, simply don't use it for now. Do whatever you used to do. Report the problem to Jagex and they'll get it fixed eventually.

I used your A option, and it was very fast. I only did it for the first 50 tasks or something though, because it got pretty boring, with all the repetitive mediocre tasks.

I can't be sure, but if you don't gain money you might well break even. If you do lose it won't be by much. Sell the really expensive seeds you get, as well as the logs and birds nests. :D

Yup, you get 3.99 compared to 4 per hit for normal. That is not much but if we get 10,000 million xp you will have wasted 100k xp. That times 3 is 300k xp compared to controlled. Not to mention that if you get 71/70/70 and then 71/71/70 and so on to 71/71/71 you will level faster then controlled from 70/70/70 to 71/71/71 because you get the boosts of 71 attack and str before you get 71/71/71. However, you can't train just strength with whip, so you would lose the advantage of that. D Scim isn't as good as the whip, and if you use a sara sword you lose the advantage of whatever shield you are using. I'm sure it's been proven that the whip is actually fastest overall.

Extending the family crest so that it can be painted on any type of metal armour, and on all the pieces? That would OWN. And I don't think it would be terribly hard to implement. :D We could get the same bonuses as our dragon amour, yet we could appear in a whole new range of different ways. The whole set of armour painted in with a crest would look one way, while a different set painted with a different crest would look another. I think this is a great idea wow, I astound myself! :mrgreen: EDIT: OH and if we wanted to remove the paint? We could just use that cloth that's used for removing poison! And we could paint over our family crest however many times we wanted, if we decided to change it. :o

You should definitely do herbs. They are nothing except profitable. :) Do ranarrs if you can. If not do something cheap like toadflax. The extra exp certainly won't hurt either. :)

I've heard that ZMI is the best. You still make some profit as well, though not nearly as much, so you don't have to worry about running out of money. :D

When I first started reading I thought it was the 25k trick, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. What was the bug? :? I don't pk so I'm not up on their news. :XD: :(

At the same time, that person might NOT be able to sell them, because the clan just dumped that item and is done with it. It crashes and they can't sell it, and it keeps crashing and they FINALLY manage to sell it, when it's at its lowest yet. Doesn't sound that beneficial to me. :P

It's kind of confusing really... noob and newb are different, and that is how we differentiate them here on Runescape. :P A newcomer =/= noob.

Horrible... Seriously, all this up and down in the graphs, and not being able to buy items you're actually going to USE is annoying. These people just want to make useless pixel money that they'll never use for anything except getting more pixel money. -.-

Didn't really seem like anything special to me... I guess it was more of a look at REAL gameplay, as opposed to just the best graphics from the best cutsccenes.
