  1. I like this! I never caught the first edition, but there was all sorts of interesting stuff to read about. If I ever see another edition I'll definitely be here reading it. :D Good work!
  2. I have tried that too. It wasn't too bad, but it was pretty boring. All I want to know is if Sorcerers Garden is worth it or not. I don't want to know the best way to get thieving exp, I already know how. I just want to know whether or not Sorcerers Garden is an option.
  3. Why not? :P Dust Devils and Greater Demons are very good for crimson charms. I collect my charms with slayer, and that doesn't go too badly for me. If you have a low slayer level it might not be so good, but why not raise it and see what happens? Waterfiends CERTAINLY aren't your only option. EDIT: 1111th post. xD
  4. Nope, I'm not pickpocketing. It's slow and useless, imo.
  5. The thing is, though, is that I really don't like doing the pyramid. I'm not going to force myself to do it all the time, cause this is a game and I want to have fun. :) I just want to know if Sorcerers Garden is at all worth it? 131 doesn't seem like that many runs to me..
  6. I didn't read the whole thread, but there were some posts on the first page talking about the uselessness of agility. Agility is far from useless. :P How about all those shortcuts? The energy recovery rate? It's MUCH, much faster than it is if you have no agility levels. There is a lot of return for agility, and I just wanted to point that out. I agree with firemaking being one of the more useless skills. How about theiving, though? It's a completely independent skill that offers very little. Sure you can get coins or runes, among other things, but in this day and age of Runescape, everyone knows there are much better ways of getting money. I'd say thieving is definitely one of the more useless skills. :D
  7. So... I think we've ALL FORGOTTEN that THIS TOPIC is about SUMMONING. If you want to talk about the effects and morality of castration I'm sure the off topic forum will welcome you. Anywho... if you don't like summoning, that's totally fine. However, I think you have hardly discovered the true usefulness of it. If you get charms via slayer, or even just everyday combat training, they start to add up eventually. Try it out at some higher levels, and then come back and tell us what you really think. :)
  8. So levels 70 and 71 of thieving both happened without any effort from me. Exp lamps from quests and random events, almost completely. :P But I've been thinking of getting all stats 75+ now that I've got 70+. Now, I hate theiving. Pickpocketing sucks, stealing from stalls sucks, chests take much too long to bother with, etc, etc. I had done some pyramid plunder on my quest to get 70, and I could never really stay there long enough to make the exp worth it. Two or three rounds at most before I couldn't do it anymore. :P So I've been thinking of trying the squirk juice things to get to 75. I've done them before too, though not very much. It's only 131 summer rounds to get me to 75. Is that worth it? Or should I just continue to try and plod my way through pyramid plunder?

I kept thinking you meant flush as in toilets... #-o
  10. Lol I used to eat it too! Not because I thought it was candy, but because it tasted so good! :XD: Then I had a bad experience with some root beer flavoured stuff.. At a whole bunch at once, and man it was gross. :XD: Winter's up here in Canada pretty much demand chap stick. :o
  11. Lol! That's awesome. 10/10 for patience! :XD:
  12. @ the cards! Anyway, guess they seem like a fun idea for people who are into the kinda thing. I'm also glad they aren't selling them in stores. :D Runescapes reputation would go down quite a bit more I'm sure. :XD: Also, there's only 10. :P
  13. Lol, that is awesome. Good job Tip.It people! :XD: We got pwned. :D There were people this morning telling people to stop saying Mudkipz so much!
  14. LOL at the TIF censor. :D And I love these cabbages!! I hope we can keep them after today! :D
  15. I remember reading that too, and it had something to do with the fact that 126 was the max combat level back then too. I don't see 99 being changed, and I don't see achievement capes being changed. I can't even remember how long I've been playing, but it's been a very long time. I don't have a single 99. :P In fact, my max level is HP at 91, with a few levels not too far behind. I don't think there's even a need to go beyond 99, unless you're a seriously hardcore player of this game. I don't see how it could be fun grinding to get 99 in every skill, a lot of which you probably don't even enjoy that much. Going past it and getting 200m exp? I think you'd have to REALLY like that skill. :XD:
  16. So the main part of this update, pre-purchase advice, isn't even getting any attention. :XD: Personally, I find it almost useless. :? The prayer update seems to be the bigger update that actually happened.
  17. Who else is gonna make you a sandwich when you're crafting nats for 10 hours straight? A colony of Egyptians each half the size of my fingernail. *whips* move that pickle! We must have this glorious sandwich finished by high noon! Otherwise the gods will be angry, and may be enticed to spill my hot tea all over you! L O L. I want one. =P~
  18. I don't see that happening at all. That only happens with the really old dragons items, the first ones to come along. I'm very certain it will be a monster drop or something, like every other dragon item of recent times. I think people would be disappointed if you could just buy it from a shop too. Everyone is probably looking forward to the huge amounts of cash they will make from the first picks.
  19. or you log in: You have 1 unread message "Oh hai. I werk for jadax, you no me as Andrew Gower. We had sum porblums in teh sistem an wheel knead ur passwerd 2 git it bak on or ull b baned." There would be soo many posts on the rsof: "DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD, JAGEX HAS BEEN HACKED." How horrible! :XD:
  20. The point behind MMORPGs is that you can take your own path and play any way you wanna play. Amen! I like doing my stuff DIY, and that's my choice. :) And it'll be everyone elses choice in how they want to do things. Secondary skills may have lost all profit, but they're still fun. :D
  21. That's absolutely horrendous!! Poor kids lost a mother, that father lost someone he loved... if this is all true I certainly believe this kid deserves a life sentence! However, I also hope they don't come to conclusions without enough evidence and end up sentencing him to something he doesn't actually deserve.
  22. It really was the skillcapes that made secondary skills go down the drain. Everyone wants skill capes, and if you can make profit doing these skills, and its fast, it was inevitable the profit wouldn't last long. I like to be self sufficient also. I farm my own herbs, quite often I mine my own ore to make my own arrows, I kill my own dragons for prayer and crafting exp, etc. :P It's how I choose to play. Yes, I wish we could go back to the time when secondary skills were actually worth looking at, but there isn't anything we can do.
  23. I think that p2p people would get massacred by teams, and would get next to nothing for their efforts, so it really wouldn't be worth it. That said, in single combat zones, they would probably own the poor f2p players, and it would just be mean and completely not fair.
  24. I'm not sure how I feel about these changes I'm hearing about... but I'm pretty sure just another auto-skill isn't a good thing. :?
  25. I personally would go with cosmics. Before I lost members I was (slowly) trying to get the rc level for double cosmics. :D I can't remember whether or not I ever got there... but I'm pretty sure it's the best money making option for rc. :D Not the best experience though, if that's what you're worried about. EDIT: Just went to look at the multiple runes per ess part of the rc guide, and now I feel dumb. xD It was ASTRALS I was trying to get doubles for... anywho... :-# If you're going for money, go for cosmics, end of story. :XD:
