how does the abyss portal prove it? Just because they have it. Maybe, you think, they just included it so people would not ask "why is there no blood and soul portal?" maybe they just added it so people would think it is going to come out. nope, most of my levels were gained from just slaying monsters. I cared more about drops or having fun while I played.

Today, after 5 years of playing runescape, I finally got that first 99. For a while, I've decided that I was going to get 99 attack. I don't play very much runescape, and because of this, level seem to take forever for me. But today, I did it. I called up all my clan mates and a few friends online, including my baby cousin, and we all met at leesters house. I got the 99 and then afterwards hosted a drop party dropping mainly rune items with a few mystic and granite items mixed in. PICTURES Just 1 :P...

and it's far from bank...so that means you get like 25k per 20 minutes, which is like 75k per hour at the most...plus selling them all to him.

i don't care the difficutly of the quest as long as the reward is good.

I can honestly say I have learned a lot from runescape. Everything I learned tho, wasn't on the game itself, but on the clans irc while talking about computers. Because of runescape, I know so much about computers and programming.

When you say harder do you mean more boring (farming) or more expensive (construction)? neither they mean more time consuming yes, because that is just what we need, something that consumes even more of our time...

I have seen posts where it seems like it is every other word. It drives me nuts, and I wish they would get rid of them. Here, in 2007, I should be able to post a subject without having green underline words in the body of my message. I wish that the forums would disable these options. you can only note barrows items at 100% and zero. It has to do with the fact that if you dropped them, they wouldn't appear to the public, thus making it possible to screw ppl over while edge pking

it's weighted numbers(comparable to the wheel theory)... you roll a 60 sided die(or however many different drops there are) and some are weighted to having better odds of showing up then others. If anyone owns a TI-83+ calculator, and you goto apps, probability, dice...mess with the options on how many sides, mess with the options on the weight of each number, you'll notice you get a common object(higher weighted) then a rare object(lower weighted) edit: I just did an example on my calculator. What I did was i had a 20 die and I rolled it 50 times. i gave every number a different weight(1 had 100, 2 had 95, 3 had 90...ect all the way down to 5 with 20)... here is a list of 50, and every time 20 came up, we'll call it the ultimate rare drop(dragon shield, visage..ect)... the results: in 50 rolls, 20 did not show up once, according to the probability, it should show up 4x in 100 rolls. 11-19 showed up only 11 times with most of them being in the lower teens. 6 had the most with 8, with all the numbers from 1-10 ranging from 3-8, with an average of 5 as you can see, even tho 1 is the most common theoretically, it wasn't the most common experimentally. There was a chance I could have got 20 on the first roll, although rare, that's why unless jagex tells us the droprate/probability of it occuring, there is no way to know the actual percentage.

safing is mostly used in edge-wild. The reason you shouldn't safe if you are pking in edge is because it doesn't really do a whole lot but waste food. If both players eat to keep their health nearly full, then the fight just goes on until someone about is out of food, and at this point, they take off running with there full health and 1-2 sharks left-over in there inventory. If everyone safed, kills would be impossible. Now at MB or anywhere deep in the wilderness, safing, in my mind, is fine. It's actually a disadvantage to eat constantly because you get less hits in yourself.

deep wild f2p pking was dead since the start of rs2...now a days, the only people that pk out there are large clans.

he is the king of black dragons...not to mention that there is nothing wrong with jagex introducing higher level dragons. The kbd was dominant in rsc...that was 3-4 years ago...no reason to live in the past

Sometimes I'll try and get the best price, but when i'm in a hurry, I usually overpay or sell for too little. If I have a lot of time on my hands, I'll stand around and merchant. To be honest, I don't really enjoy merchanting, although I think it comes very easy to me, and even though I enjoy spending all the money I make on myself, I really don't have a very good time spamming for hours.

I don't like the dragon full helm because it looks like a fishhead. ^ much better fake of a dragon full helm, then the real full helm. also, killing brutals wouldn't be so bad if you can kill more then 10 a trip(max for green hides), but I agree that a lvl 227 monster should have very decent drops(visage, dragon and rune weapons and armour, high supply of runes and or noted raw materials...

people think to complete runescape you have to have all those things...thats utter bull. Let's say I get 1 99. I've been playing 5 years, but because I have so much other stuff going on, i can not level like some of the maniacs that do. If 1 99 is my achievement, and I feel I have done my best, then to me, I have completed what I want to. Also, just because you don't own a firecape, and 3rd age, and all that expensive stuff, doesn't mean the game is hard. The game is repetative. If you want to make loads of cash, you have to do the same thing over and over for hours to make a lot of money. Again, just because I don't feel like boring myself over a game I play for fun, doesn't mean that I can't say that I am good at the game. I have a general knowledge and when anything comes out, I usually know what I have to do(like defeat mithril dragons).

I just sold a dueling ring for 7k. I don't consider this merchanting but more just helping someone out who doesn't care how much they spend...they just want the item now(btw, the guy was in the grand tree, so if he wanted the glider, it was only about 10 seconds away :S...

a monster that takes forever to kill, uses a lot of resources, and the same ammount of xp can be received from lower level slayer monsters. I really never liked them, but i understand why previous visage hunters are angry.
