The removal happened right after the nuke iirc. So it kinda makes sense for jagex to have wanted to get rid of those accounts that no longer played because they were bots but were not banned to keep the hs compedative. But as bots are back in full force in p2p, that argument is more or less moot now. Not to mention there were plenty of ways they could have made the hs competitive without removing f2p.

I think someone mentioned in the EoC thread that you can only use (1) watering cans.

Is that debt a student loan type where it has next to 0 interest? If not, you're potentially paying thousands more just through interest than if you sold now and paid it off... It is student. But my answer would be the same when if it wasn't. Like the post a few up said. It's just my personal values and ethics. I will not profit off something I have no legal right to.

He needs to take off his rose-coloured glasses and see that he (and other gamblers) is a major reason the community's different than in the past.

The top section of LDZ's list is always a recap of previous bannings. The bottom section are the new ones. I've seen it lowering to about .40/m over the last week. Perhaps the spammers you've been seeing are just slow. OT: It makes me happy to see people like this banned.

It's pretty clear that they put out this BTS to keep high-level players post-EOC, but I don't care. It's nice to know what's coming in the mid-future. Also, it's not like they're making this content in fear of losing people post-EOC, only telling us about it. They said that they were taking their SOF and SGS money and puting it into new content, and it's nice to be able to put a face to the promise.

While it's unfortunate that you'd be muted for doing something someone asked, you can't really expect any favours from Jagex with a name like that...

At the very least the menu shouldn't close when you're attacked. Still means an extra game tick or two, but at least it'll be possible to pick up your stuff.

I've run into very similar things over the last few months. Not uncommon at all if you know what to look for / places to look. Mod Weath and I took out a couple dozen of them a while back but since making gp with bots is so easy they just come right back.

He did say 'if you can't do 2 5:5's an hour, it's probably better to solo med's, if you're a good dungeoner' so I'm guessing this won't compel any hardcore dungeoners to switch to solo, but it's a nice alternative to struggling through 30+ minute larges with uncooperative teams.

EXACTLY what I was going to say. No matter if you have no issue with how these people gained their GP, the truth is that all Runescape items belong to Jagex. So you have no right to sell it, and Jagex has all the right to take it away if they feel you're not living up to your end of the terms of conditions. This makes me even less likely to believe the claims made earlier in this thread about people using RWT as a means to survive.

Make x improvement looks good. Saves me a trip to Google docs to find prices and experiences. Haven't dunged in a year plus but it was all solo in f2p so part of me doesn't want exp rates to go up out of spite.

Assuming 50/50 you can only get 30 tallies per hour. Still 350k/h though, which is great for F2P.

Haven't lagged at all today. Though, I am in F2P so less people. Why would Jagex go out of their way to make the community mad? They already have such bad public image that doing something like this would ruin the business. It's just crappy servers, people.

While I hate to be negative... good luck finding an open spot to mine. At the moment it's near impossible to train mining with the number of bots. Add real players into the mix trying to get the most of the 20% and you're looking at madness.

A part of me thinks that they're doing this so that people don't have a reason to skill after the bot nuke. "Oh, resources are skyrcketing because there are no bots to collect them? Good thing I already got all my goal levels in the 48 hour grindfest the other day"

Just remember that so it's not a smooth curve but more like steps.
