For less competition, try using the spots outside (purple dots), not inside the tents. Enchanted excalibur spec alone should be fine, but do bring along your guthans in case when you get unlucky.
-
I would just have my private on and tell them the fact that my private is on which they can add and call me any time.

Not that hard at all. I managed 60k exp/hr and AZ's for the last 2 levels and 50kish from Slayer. Defence > Attack > Str Ah, another defence-first comrade. Defence is the easiest to train. Just guthans up in bandits bar. You cant really 100% afk, because the game logs you out from time to time now, so dont worry about that.

Thats the wrong idea. If the item do indeed has better stats and you expect the item's price wont go crashing for the next few weeks, then its worth it. D pick do look it's settling down, but not too sure is it going to be stable... any ideas?

Jagex has done some work I guess. I forget the order which is first but we do receive dharoks and guthans, then gorillas, bandits, pest control, chinchompa, ecto, PoH, salve amulet (e), plank make and yaks, soul wars, armoured zombies, afk spiders... Leveling combat is much faster than it was already. In the old days when rs2 just came out, which I was f2p. We kill hobglobins in wild, now we have stronghold of security. Penguin points and tears of guthix also give you exp for skills you dont even want to train. I train my summoning completely by penguins, construction and runecrafting only by tears of guthix.

After serveral hours in dual arena with new prayers (lv71-) up, drain spec dont really affect d claws and ddp++ but it does make ags useless. Drain spec do drain quite alot of prayer and when you use it, you have to swtich it off after it drain 2 times or else you might run out of prayer for deflect melee and sap melee. Not too hard to do in arena since you dont have to eat but I guess you cant really spare the extra attenton for that when you are in pvp world.

Vials look more like manupulation by jagex, since GE cant rise/drop more than 10% in a day. I guess there are a lot more of those jagex is secretly doing. EDIT: That reminds me of this topic: http://forum.tip.it/topic/248053-more-ge-fun/

Just move your house there and use house tabs. Use bulter or move your house back to yanille only when you decide to level up construction.

Unless the stuff is pretty hard to get from ge, or else just stick to the most profitable options.
-
+1 I dont mind if they make a hidden permanent like the ghosty robes mini quest, but not on the tempory ones...

High alch is never mean to be the fastest way to train. We have stun, plank make and barrages. You are talking about 3gp/exp vs 8-10gp/exp (depends how high your fire surge can actually hit). If you see someone is doing high alch, that person might just have alot of junk to get rid of... By last month's update, super heat and other converting spells have their speed increased already made high alch less attractive as a mean of training.

Much the same, killing each other in pk world/minigame and call each other gf/noob.

I dont like their idea of caps, if the price has pushed too high, demand will fall, price go crashing, merchanters dump their stuff, the market will fix itself... All we have to do is to wait. However, merch clans are not really monopoly, it is somewhat a pyramid scheme. IE: money earned from their members, thats their fellow "dumbo merchanters" whom create all those excess demand. BTW, you can get all those capped items from npc stores/produce your own in tower of life, so there is no monopoly to fix. And most real life auctions are monopolies... Who will bid anything in ebay when they can get the item from a store...cheaper?

Stronghold of security is still good for f2p. P2P, I'd say bandits bar. Just sit there with guthans up at all times.
-
Even if you dont mech, you should check the major mech clans once a week, so you wont get screwed by them.
-
It is better than a dragon square in all means. But however I am not sure of getting rid of it now.... even if you dont use it. It seems to be still rising at the moment, but the bubble might burst. Anyway now rsof price is still > ge price.
-
Doesnt worth it. If I havnt calculated wrong, US$5.95 is < £4.99 UK...by a lot!
-
Do remember to edit your sig after you change your RS display name. My advice is simple, dont keep cash when the economy start recovering(obviously not now). It shouldnt matter you even if dfs do rise back up, because everything else rise as well.
-
^ What he said, there is no need for switching ammo, focus on your prayers. Think about it, we used to do it with a crappy crystal bow.
-
If you are using it for training, the repair bill can burn you millions. It was possible in bandits with guthans up at all times.
-
To make this simple, I am not going into details. Lets say... it depends on what do you think this http://services.runescape.com/m=news/newsitem.ws?id=2362 will stop 76king or not. If this do stop 76king, they will continue to crash. If this fails, they will rise again.

If the material in question is not damn hard to buy in GE, choose the one that sells fast and the most.
-
So the magical anti-76k method is just remembering who previously killed you and mark him to drop crap for you? I guess we are going to see 76k clans soon. Oh and btw, is it time to dump your expensive swords and amour now?

The fact that many CEOs and other top business leaders are considered "great people" is due to the fact that they're successful in what they do, so they're viewed as role models of a sort. Propaganda, no doubt, also has a hand in it, and this interview is only one more example of this. *This isn't to say that all business leaders are corrupt, of course, as many have achieved what they have on merit alone, and this is important to remember.* The same principle doesn't apply to ingame manipulation clan leaders, however, as legitimate merchanters don't attempt to influence item prices directly. You are going to tell me there is something real about an exec making 250m per year? It means about 5m per week or, with working 140hrs per week (4hrs sleep per day), about 36k per hour. There is no way someone actually earns that, it is robbing any company blind. Psst, have you heard of a man named Warren Buffet? Heard of something called stocks? Most hush funds do that and many large corporate invest in different kind of funds. Even your bank is taking your money to mech. Not to mention governments and central banks. I am not sure will people worship those cooperate/financial leaders, but they do become famous in one sense just for being rich and successfully manipulating the market. Okay, I know you're upset, but don't go spouting nonsense. Merchants and merchanting clans existed long before the GE, and in my own opinion, their effects could be felt a lot tighter than what's going on now (World 2, merchants that refused to sell to you for eight hours, just plain annoying). Neither removing trade limits nor the GE would alleviate the problem. Nor would banning the clans themselves - nothing's stopping them from operating underground. Something's gotta be done about them, though. Before the GE you had to actually obtain ingredients yourself, or luckily find them. The ge made it easy both for people to get items fast, and to manipulate their costs ( along with trade limits ) Removing the GE and trade limits WOULD help manipulation, but I agree not remove it. Because of trade limits players are forced to buy at certain prices as it's impossible not to, a factor I find most frustrating. This helps manipulation a HUGE deal as players will be forced to pay the inflated price, and clans can raise this price quite easily because of the GE. Imagine trying to manipulate snape grass without the GE, you'd have to find the sellers, and attempt to buy them out. This just wouldn't happen, and didn't. At least not for nearly every single ingredient / product, which is what happens now. Removing the GE, trade limits, bringing back old pking (what you kill is what you get), would both fix the problem, but make RWT easy again. Sadly Jagex now care more about their income ( they are currently 10th Richest youngins in England right? ) instead of making their players happier and attempting to manually ban RWTs. Old schoolers will remember the day when Paul would enter the world and ask us loyal players what we think a good update would be, and attempt to act upon it. Now, they attempt to bring out an update every week, half of which are rubbish. Sorry I get off topic... a lot. Summary - removing GE and trade limits will not fix the problem entirely, but will help it. The question is, would you rather this which in turn would bring back epic RWTing. Pretty much summarised the problem.

Well, according to the high alch calculators at wiki, there is no way to break even with high alch. Not anymore after personal shops come to live. Cheapest way is super glass make, then super heat adamantite, then lv-3 enchant. The cost depends on how fast you can make money with. I think I have post the rates of the slower methods somehwere here before, but I have lost them now.
