  1. I'm guessing if you lose it you could still recover using either the traditional recoveries or much easier, with your e-mail.
  2. How many programs have you coded? If you ever get into programming you would understand Jagex's position much better. Bug-proofing something is a much greater feat than you realise. It's very easy to look at it now and think "Wow, how'd they miss that", but when your testing team is in the 10's and your active player base is in the 10,000's, testing every possible scenario with all of RuneScape's possibilities is a bit crazy. It's more common sense. Everyone would like to feel perfect safety in RuneScape, but it's not realistic. Just because Jagex said it was safe doesn't mean it is. If someone jumped off a bridge, would you? In the same sense, if someone told you to jump of a bridge, would you? Common sense can take you a long way in more places than just life. Jagex clearly stated, multiple times over many months that this was to be something completely new. Someone who disregards the possibility of a bug completely, is little more than a fool, I'm afraid.
  3. What? You're talking absolute non-sense. Firstly, this is optional, if you value your 10 seconds so much over your account (in which many people have invested thousands of HOURS) you don't have to get it. Using the same logic as you, no one should have babies either. Do you know how much it costs to raise one? I can't remember exact figures, but from memory, it's over a quarter of a million US dollars to raise one to the age where s/he can legally move out by themselves. If you consider the billions of people around the world, that's TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS! Quick! Everyone stop having babies, it's inefficient! As for the topic, I'd love one of these things. I'd pay $20 for it, but I'd gladly pay $20 for bank space as well :P I'm a little confused as to how they will work though, would they plug into a USB port? I hope they won't be purely wireless, since I only use wired :(
  4. Yep, T bird is fine. Banking is really fast if you use a games necklace, so you hardly lose out on any gp/hr :)
  5. This may have been changed, but I doubt it. Grab a full invent of food and climb into lumby caves without a light. Obviously don't take valuables, only the shield. A more fun (and slower) way might be castle wars or soul wars :P
  6. My only issues are: 1. Checking timer on familiar 2. Dismissing familiar The reason for checking the timer, is you have to right click the icon and search for "familiar details". There's a massive list of options, so it's really annoying searching for it. The reason for the second is pretty much the same. It takes ages to find the details window. There's a dismiss option in the icon window, but no instant dismiss. I find it easier to go to details and instant dismiss, so for me the dismiss option is a waste of space there. Overall, the huge bulk of options that they just dumped into that little icon's menu is irritating and takes way too long to navigate. Core features like that should be completely intuitive, sadly, this just ain't.
  7. The way alot of people have been acting then; "It's your fault for taking good armor and a godsword to a new monster, you should have known better"... -.- You don't need equipment and cash for this mini-game though. I'm not saying it's entirely the players fault, but it's hard to deny that it was somewhat their fault. As a real-life comparison, no one walks into dark alley ways at night with all their money in cash inside their wallet/s. If someone got robbed in real life in that position I wouldn't sympathetic, it's just stupid. Why this player had 350M in his invent is beyond me. It's just stupid. Sure, we SHOULD be safe, but Jagex are only human, and completely bug-proofing a game is simply not a possible feat. We ain't living in a perfect world. You just have to deal with it.
  8. Earth warriors require a lower level to make un-aggresive, they hardly ever wander near anywhere but the entrance of the bronze drag room, and it doesn't matter if they attack you since you're praying melee AND it's multi. Dogs are another story unless you're 127+ cb. If they're a problem to you for whatever reason, I believe there's a room near nechraels which has only bronze dragons and fire elementals (non-aggresive). Monster in chaos tunnels become unaggressive just as much as in Brimmy dungeon. You can use combat familiars in CT, but not in Brimmy. If using a beast of burden, BoB's can pitch in and add some extra damage in as well. There really is no reason to kill them in Brimmy for high levels or low levels...
  9. For stats, it sucks. Alot. I believe there's a +1 stab/slash/crush stat on the plate, pretty negligble. If you want effective armour, Barrows was, is and most likely will be the way to go for years to come.
  10. This is completely different, you cannot compare people who want fast ranks to people wanting fast money. Ranks won't affect anyone but the person that's getting them. 26k'ing basicly affects everyone, and you get rich from it. This mini-game? Don't expect masses of wealth. :| This costs money, not creates it. And time, a lot of time. Once you invest a lot of time, I have a feeling it could give some pretty decent gp/hr.
  11. Fight them in chaos tunnels, they're near the north-west part. My favourite are the ones near earth warriors. You pretty much have to take an anti fire pot. Other than that, the fastest way would be whipping them with pro-melee (and black mask). A cheaper but significantly slower option would be ranging them with broad/addy bolts. If you're having trouble finding them, open up the runescape map tab (near mini-map), select chaos tunnels and it's the room south of the very top-left dagannoth room. Bring a combat familiar if you can. Otherwise you could use a beast of burden, but you won't need it.
  12. Heh, they didn't seem to have learnt from the last time they changed the font. Glad it's going to get changed, wonder if they'll add any nerfs into the update too. good old orange stats anyone? Those were epic :( New font is/was epic aswell. The RuneScape population are like a bunch of babies, one little change and they ball their eyes out until everything is back to how it was.
  13. It's an attempt, but I just can't see someone dumping 100M worth of junk into this. It isn't that expensive to buy armies. Although this is a nice thing for those small-medium piles of junk we all accumulate every now and then.
  14. On the second part, it depends on which Varrock teleport. I doubt we'll ever have faster access than that, unless we get teleported right next to the bankers themselves.
  15. no Does the game even give exp? No, but the locators could increase xp/hr of skilling. Although they help more so with gp/hr from what I can tell (rune ore, herblore secondaries, etc.).
  16. 10%? More like 99% :| You must take rollbacks seriously though. Remember that for each legit player who lost something there are thousands of other players who *would* lose on what they got, especially now that a significant amount of time has passed since MA came out. But really, I can't say I'm surprised Jagex let a bug like this slip. Wouldn't be the first time...
  17. Has anyone tried using only one light army and suiciding with cannon/chin? Do you get a rank for it? If so, that would be a very fast way to get ranks. On an unrelated note, people are being too negative about MA. Jagex spent so long on it, it's not like they'll just leave it the way it is. Can't wait to see the top spoils of war, hopefully it gives some epic clothes/loot
  18. I have a feeling rewards are based on squads killed, so those people are just boring themselves for nothing. I just killed 19 squads but lost (came 2nd, to someone who left all his squads hiding). Still got 20k rewards creds though, for my 2nd ever game. I can't wait to see the highest level rewards.
  19. Stop them from exploring and attack the enemie, who will send one group at you, and then you will have to go to the other side of the island to find another 2. As a small hint for killing their army, use the gliders, they do 180-230+ damage (from what i've seen), and USE THE COMBAT TRIANGLE. Eg. Send mages to kill warriors
  20. Can anyone get into a proper game? Wait times are huge and it looks like only a few games are permitted at the same time -.- (577 people waiting and need 20 for a game.... lol..)
  21. And there's no long thing as summoning producing junk
  22. I can really see what Jagex said by something new, the control of this entire thing is so unique, reponsive and crisp, unlike the control panels provided in some quests. It actually feels like a legit RTS game. Some epic hits aswell, my gnome glider just hit 184
  23. For chewed bones, a rough estimate would be 1 in 30. Not sure on D full, but VERY rare.
  24. They will go back down somewhat, but in general most will stay higher than they were. The reason for it is mass inflation caused by 26king in PvP worlds, if you're curious there is plenty discussion on it in the general discussion board :P However some items are being merched as well, such as abby whips.
