Country Music. #1 In Color - Jamey Johnson
Only two country albums I've ever liked have both been recommendations from How2PK. Lie Down in the Light by Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, and My Name is Buddy by Ry Cooder. I used to be avidly against country to the extent that I would never ever consider liking any country song, but I decided to give it a chance, and there is some pretty good country out there. I'll be checking back on this thread to see who I should check out.

Awesome!
That would be a fair point if you don't know anyone who frequents "those parts" of the internet in real life. Memes, as with any inside joke, are best used by just subtly slipping them into conversations and not making a huge deal out of them, and seeing who notices. If no one notices, who cares? At least I've amused myself.

Awesome!
This. Reading the "I for one make an effort to print it out and stick it around my school" made me die a little bit inside. Why? What makes internet memes worse then any other inside joke? I don't understand why there's so much hostility from those who view themselves as the "intellectual elite" of the internet towards those who use memes. Yeah, it's not exactly the most creative form of humour, but I doubt anyone actually thinks they are being original when they use them. Get off your freaking high-horse. Note: This was more aimed at people who attack memes in general, as opposed to being aimed directly at you.

My TCG idea
I'm seriously considering buying seasons 1-5 of Yu-Gi-Oh! on DVD. I think I might wait till after the HSC is over though.

Riddle #3
This was actually my friend's riddle, but dirt can be tamed ... by fertilizer so that it can be farmed on better? I think it makes sense. If that's the answer, then it's a pretty shoddy riddle. That said, I can't think of a better one.

Sick of people saying that metalcore deathcore hardcore etc
Metalcore and deathcore are metal. It's not an "in my opinion" thing, they just are. However, I don't really care too much when people say they aren't. I have a tendency to hate most metal-heads anyway, so them disagreeing with me doesn't make a huge difference.

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you
To Nadril: I write down all the recommendations I get from here so I can check them out later, and they're not on the list. I'll give them a shot though. I listened to Aarni like.. 2 years ago when you recommended them on this board (you also got me into Behold... the Arctopus from that). I wasn't a huge fan. They tend to abuse the bass, or something like that. The sound was too muddy for my liking. And to the next person, recommend something to How2PK please, not me.

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you
Speaking of experimental, you should check out John Zorn. Only gotten into him recently, he's a really cool artist. He owns a record label, Tzadik, that produces records for experimental artists over various genres. I've only heard one album so far, Moonchild, and I loved it. So check it out if you can.

I don't really care. I don't pay much attention to advertising. Not nearly as bad as those bloody door-knockers..

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you
It seems like I've been recommending for you a fair bit, Cheese. Anyway, you should possibly check out Anaal Nathrakh. Fantastic Black Metal/Grindcore band. Really brutal, intense music, with some insane vocals. As for albums, I'd recommend Eschaton, then Hell is Empty, and All the Devils are Here. I apologize if I've recommended them to you before, but they didn't come up on your Last.FM, so if I did, you didn't pay attention.

Genre Grouping
I know. I just like this topic so I wanted to add something even though I have nothing constructive to say. :( OT: I agree with How2PK to an extent--the presence of genres often locks people into listening to the same music with little variation. I know from experience, it takes effort to find new music out of your comfort zone. However, genres are also incredibly useful when you are in the mood for a specific sound. I guess even though I don't care too much for genres, I still try to learn all the different ones and the differences between them.

Do you like to catch bugs and animals?
I used to try and catch butterflies. Haven't done that in yearssss. There's something a little bit sadistic about catching animals and pinning them to a plaque.

I got offered a pretty amazing job, i'm lost though.
If I was in your position, I wouldn't have any second thoughts. However, it would be wise to have a back-up plan if it falls to pieces.

Earbuds
That's because all the earphones worth more than $5 are in-ear. There's not much point in us giving recommendations for non-in-ear earphones, as they're all the same. And the point is, his reason for not liking in-ear earphones is that they fall out too easy. While that is true for the in-ear ones that only stick in a little bit, it is not true for those that go into the ear-canal a bit further, such as those from Etymotic. Anyway, Kill_Thomas9, I'd strongly recommend you get yourself a pair of Etymotic earphones. They are in-ear, but they form a sort of vacuum seal, and will not fall out if you put them in properly.
