Everything is crashing, but yes, it is temporary. Why? Because everyone is focused on the new skill, and thus there are few transactions on the market (specifically, fewer players buying items).. hence, the "crashes".

New Skill Research - Roleplaying / Dungeon Master?
Deltaer replied to me's topic in General Discussion
Nicely done -
I only did 1 level due to a time constraint.. but seems like a nice skill. At least it requires SOME thought and logic unlike other skills.. and it's not all about clicking.. but in my opinion, it should be a minigame and not a skill. It's just not consistent at all with the format of the game...

If this is as "successful" as past world wars (only attended one years ago), it'll just be a lag fest. I'll pass :P (have exams around then anyways)

Hopefully less CWA and more PvP action for tipit based clans. *crosses fingers*

Wow, there's been some changes around here!!

I took a 4 year break (came back last summer). It was really hard coming back cause everything had changed.. I felt like a complete noob, but I think I'm mostly caught up now. I kind of miss the old days though. -
Go Abs!! Grats!

The What Clan Would You Rather Join Thread

Dragonwood. Old allies of TU. Gladz or BK? -
Good fight. I almost made it up there for the final screenshot.. was at mossies - bad luck.

When I came back to the game last summer, I decided to cut a few yews randomly (was idling at edge)... my first strike, I got the egg. Had 1 summoning at the time (new skill for me - gone for 4 years), and couldn't do anything with it, but even now at 69 summ, it's still sitting in my bank. :)

And you must be...? who are these multiclanners you talk of? And you are..? Suddenly we need to have a rep to have an opinion on here? The multiclanners who were both in LGZ and Coll, but since that seems to have been taken care of, congrats Collision!
-
Well, this started when the Coll members showed up in a TWR war, so to dismiss that doesn't make sense to me. And you may not care about them, but they do matter. We know what multi-clanning is? I don't know, I think with the addition of CWA to the game and the developing popularity of teams, I don't feel that sure people do, I mean I was at a war vs another team when one of our members was participating for the team. No one had a problem with that. So yeah, maybe we all know what multi-clanning is, but do people really know what a clan is anymore? To me, it's pretty clear cut. :) Teams aren't an issue here, as they are both clans (one that's PVP oriented, the other CWA). But the fact that neither clan is exclusively CWA or PVP (e.g. LGZ pvps), makes it multiclanning. It's just a shame that we decided to war a multiclanning clan (one that has 25% of their members in Coll), and I really hope that doesn't happen again (boycott clans that have multiclanners). If Lgz did kick their members who are Coll (which I would find hard to believe), then good for them, and hopefully everyone can move on.
-
lflash, this wasn't a TWR war. Collision = Clan. LGZ = Clan. I really don't care about TWR rules anyways :) . We all know what multiclanning is and we don't need the TWR to define it. If that is in fact true, then that's a good start.

I'm the last person to care whether we win or lose (it doesn't matter to me - winning all the time is boring anyways). If you win fairly, you won, period; and good job to you. But multiclanning is cheating in every way. Those Collision members should not have been there (to me, they are not Lgz members). If you can't see that, then that's your problem, and I'll reiterate the sad state of the clan world if it allows such a thing. Sad. If you don't want to war "multiclanners", why accept wars with "them" and then ask for a rematch after the fact? So you have an excuse should you lose? Do I look like a warlord/leader/council/whatever? I don't know the details of the war, but had I known that LGZ had any multiclanners (that's news to me), I would have boycotted the war. If that's the case, I think it was wrong of us to even accept/declare war on them (any multiclanning clans should be boycotted for wars, period). Im still kinda amazed at the attitude of indifference towards multiclanning clans. I'd like to know how the clan world has gone so downhill in just a few years.

Get rid of your multiclanners and I'll give you a "grats". Until then, your wins mean nothing.

"The" <3 Crack the top 10 again. It's where you belong!

I can't really say anything about the war as I couldn't make it.. but.. I will never understand the pathetic state of the clan world today. Let me get this straight: you are okay with being a clan full of multiclanners? Years ago, you would be the laughing stock of the clan world. I hope that hasn't changed. Pathetic.

Perhaps I should explain why I'm so against the idea of teams. It really jumps down to the fact that these teams result in lower active members in clans. If people have clans and teams to turn to for warring and pking, they will be much less inclined to concentrate demands for more warring/PKing in the clans. If their clans are suffering a slump, or generally just not active with warring/PvPing, they'll turn to their teams. This results in clans being less active, and even a weaker "community" feel. So yeah, it disperses a person's interests, and the end result is that they are not putting their 100% into either the clan or the team. If you'd like to make the clan world more active (which I'm seeing complaints of), then you should be concentrating activity into one or the other. And another thing is that it's clear that at times, people choose their team's events over their clans. I mean, if you feel like warring (and your team happens to have a war), and your clan has an unofficial PvP trip or whatever, which one would you be more likely to attend? So I think people are kind of in denial if they think that teams aren't having any effect on the clan world. It's really not an issue of semantics. The two things just have very little to do with one another.

Personally, I don't think crashing is that big of a deal. I wouldn't say I'd like to crash a clan's event, but if they crashed mine, I don't think I'd care. It's the wild and it's free-for-all.. it makes the game a lot more fun and interesting, so hey, if you like crashing, go for it. Just be prepared to deal with the consequences. However, what is crossing the line is hacking/ddosing.. That I have a big issue with. I mean, first of all, it's a criminal offense, and that in itself should show people how serious it is. Second, to do that over a game? How much of a life do these people have?
-
And if only that "rule" held through. And I really don't see the connection where clan events being more important than team events would negate the fact that being apart of a team is not multiclanning. A team is a clan; thus, it is multiclanning. Simple logic right there.
-
These "teams" are just like clans. There really is no way to distinguish them except by name. They PvP, have wars, have forums where they interact with one another (and where a lot of the "community" aspect takes place), and even have all the ranks you'd find in a normal clan ([high] council, leader, warlord, etc.) So yes, if you belong to more than one of a: clan, team, country clan, then you are a multiclanner. There's really no denying it... I've said it before: they were created as a loophole to multiclan. Any clan that outright bans belonging to a team or country clan has my full respect.

Bias mods from "The" alliance basically caused a mass exodus of clans here and they all went to RSC. I personally prefer it here now, alot less flaming, there's still some but it's not at the extent RSC has it. These days every topic made by a top 5 clan on RSC is complete fabrication, a mission of propaganda to try and get more people to join a clan, that's pretty much what the top 5 clans revolve around now, lies and deceit in order to recruit. Unless you were at a fight that took place between two top 5 clans you can not know who actually won anymore and I think that's a pretty sad state of affairs. Well that must have been long ago because TA really doesn't have much power anymore. Clans like "The" and Gladz used to be top 10, but now they probably wouldn't even make the cut for top 20. Jagz and TMRD are "community clans" from what I've heard too, and BK left years ago.. so how much could they really do here, especially if they don't really have any contact with any top 10 clans anymore. And did the intro of the TWR play any role in the exodus to RSC as well? Are you still in Corruption Rob? Wouldn't your clan also be apart of the "lies and deceit"? I hear you, but politics has always played a role in the RS clan world, and there's nothing you can really do about it.

I remember a time when all top clans used tipit... why'd they all run off to RSC?

Grats t0. That was way too close (and long).
