  1. Should be around 600 with kurdal, but depends on the tasks you do.
  2. There is no general rule for it that would fit everyone so you are going to have to test it for yourself. If you really like large dungeons, you could do 1-28 c1 small/duo 2:1 and 29-47 large 5:5, but also do 1-40 5:5 small and 41-47 large 5:5, but it really depends on what you like more, but the last 5-6 floors should always be done 5:5 large.
  3. An elmental staff doesn't actually save you money unless you are using water surge, and then you should atleast consider getting tome of frost. The best familiar to use is a wolpertinger(unless you are using overloads, in which case bunyip/BoB will be easier), but then you'd also need soul split for healing. Having all the possible magic damage boosts is important for this method because magic is otherwise unbelievably slow and inefficient. The best equipment would be... 3a mage hat sw/mage arena/ardy 3 cape(all of them are good, almost impossible to tell which is best) arcane stream necklace staff of light ahrims top ahrims bottoms arcane spirit shield dark gloves infinity boots seer ring(i) that applies for earth or fire surge, for water surge, use tome of frost. If you are really paranoid about losing money use battle robes+sol.
  4. Ok, so is killing zil so much more fun than any other boss monster to be worth losing the ability to train or slay? Or is killing zil with rapier less fun than with longsword? You have to understand what is written before posting sarcastic notes about your own life.
  5. To have fun, or to kill Zil? Neither, to have fun while killing zil(as there is no logical reason for zil to be considerably more fun than graar).
  6. Have you ever heard of efficiency? He doesn't have 85+agility/96+summoning or an endless supply of ferocious rings, so it'd be very inefficient to bank bones. Also, if you can make 4m an hour and value your time higher than that(xp is money) it'd also be inefficient to bank bones even with a yak. Just as you asked if he is insane, the real question i should ask you is: are you poor?(as it is much more relevant)
  7. well, realistically, boss hunting will hardly make a dent in your supply so...slayer it is. Bring as many as you can(you don't need a familiar for most assignments so pack your prayer pots in a BoB) and use them there. It's a bit of a bother but the extra speed is quite noticeable.
  8. Cannoning in the wildy/resource dungeon is still slower than kurdals dungeon(mostly because of the positioning, cannon 90% of the time hits dragons once per round), the fact that you don't have a fero ring yet is poor, but there's all the more reason to get one off of irons as soon as possible.
  9. I don't see why a video would be more helpful than a written guide, so no, i'm not even thinking about making a video(i play on a laptop with average net connection= very unhelpful, inefficient laggy video). Also, there's already way too many video-guides out there, most of which show various inefficient ways of killing the dragons, being one reason i made this guide.
  10. So your proof about people meleeing zil is people who use pvp armor/weapons to do it...great... But let me clarify that sentance- noone in their right mind would kill zil over graar for monetary purposes because a) longer kc b) longer kills(less kills an hour) c)worse drops(on average, also no good 100% drops). Overall, the only reason to kill zil is to have fun, and if you are getting cls over rapier for that sole reason(and there is no proof rapier is much worse there) you have got to be mad.
  11. daily basis. Otherwise you'd just leave it for an infinite amount of days and only get approval when you cash in. The approval is a multiplier that is equal to or smaller than 1 that is used when determining the quantity of rewards and is calculated for every day.
  12. It's really a massive mess to consider which is best when you have all the possible boosts(max gear/ovl/turm/claws/steel titan) because it's next to impossible to tell which is best. Overall, it might turn out that because rapier/longsword are equal at bandos/TD's and noone melees sara, assuming you are maxed melee/herb/prayer, the CLS will become useless. If most people considered jagex to have done a great job on balancing the three weapons, then in reality, assuming you have all maxed abilities, the only good thing about CLS is it's slash attack(good for things for which you need a shield AND have higher stab defense than slash). However, a thing that interests me much more is the usefulness of future chaotic weapons, because, to be honest, they don't look very promising- the only weapon with any discussion value at all is the spear, and that'd because no other weapon would work on corp. What, however, would add alot of discussion value is if they introduced the chaotic dagger and gave it 7 speed, as there would be serious competition between the dagger and rapier for alot of slayer and medium defense monsters.
  13. Second this. They aren't a particularly great task and the maximum xp is around 35k an hour, which is about as good as iron dragons at kurdals, but the fact that you can get elite clues from them makes it worth it for some people, but if you are going for maximum experience, it'd be wise to block or cancel the tasks.
  14. 900 days of playing time is less then 3 years. 5 years would be 1826 days. 1 day of playing time = 1 day of real time...oh wait... :ohnoes:
  15. Is anyone else slightly disappointing about the pace of the top players on the bonus xp weekend? I mean, last bonus weekend, zarfot really separated himself from the pretenders category by being the biggest winner of the event, but this time, none of the top 5 have shown anything spectacular- most have trained easier/fast/cheap skills and none has gone all out especially for the weekend...
  16. Na, that's a terrible guide...that guy should probably stick to something like...runecrafting. There is actually a great guide about efficient frosts with war tortoise on youtube that uses the same spot that i do and has some nice tips, unfortunately, i can't be bothered to look for it.
  17. Got done with my charms, finally, barely got past my slayer xp with summoning, but considering i only pick crims/blues and am very picky with the tasks i do, it's a nice result. So far, 7m herb xp, 6.8m summoning xp, hoping to get another 500k+ slayer before monday for a nice 1m slayer during the event(245 muted bloodveld on 1,8 multiplier in 35 mins = win  )
  18. It's extremely likely the guy in rune is some kind pure, and if you consider the mismatches in armory(void+divine+ccbow+dragonstone bolts vs. whip/torso/rune) it's easy to see why the results would look like that. I bet the guy would get destroyed against swh/claw spec/ divine, rapier, bandos, but ofcource, then everyone would question why the new prayer and bow are so rubbish... Edit, watched the vid a little more and still, anything will look good with divine- not having to eat means you get a ton of more dps and don't run the risk of dieing.
  19. Kurdal, if you are an already successful slayer, is the fastest slayer master to get to, which further adds to the usefulness of the master(you can't cancel tasks with npc contact). Thus, assuming you cancel a task for every task you do, the slayer xp will be faster than for any other master. If you do it right your bank should be stacking up with ferocious rings soon enough.
  20. Those people that have been training skills non stop from the beginning of the bonus should now(actually 10 minutes ago with no logouts) be over the 10 hour limit(well, actually 11,6 hour limit, as it turned out), i'm currently half way done with 1,15, gained around 9.8m xp in that time, will finish off the timer tomorrow and then start summoning for another 5-6m xp. Too bad i missed the last weekend, but this is actually great fun.

The least helpful reply thus far(and yes, the TD reply is up there). They aren't the same? Sorry my bad, I always assumed they were like clues in that aspect. This is off-topic, but since when do clues have equal drop rates? I always thought they....weren't. Come to think of it, you're right. Bad example. Point being: I was under the impression that effigies had an equal drop rate (where I got that idea, idk). Apparently they don't, so in that case I'd just point to what everyone said. I'm sorry as i know this is too very much off topic, but realistically, the help and advice usually has a purpose, and more often than not, that purpose is to give help and advice to other people, but you posted on a topic about which you knew nothing about some terribly inaccurate information which you then followed up with an even more terrible example. You are representing the tip.it WEBSITE crew truly poorly on this topic, and i'd suggest having personal/confirmed knowledge about things that you do post as facts, because otherwise you'll come up looking like this again. Again, sorry if it got too much off topic.
  22. KIIIIITENS I knew I should have bought some for this >_> Except, ya know, untradable. Someone has been training on giants. Assuming you bought and opened all the jars before the weekend, purely turning in the bones earns around 4m xp an hour, which tops blue charms for summoning(which was nerfed for this weekend). Zombie impling jars have a 1/30 to give curved or long bones(1/15 overall).

  24. Got around 7m(6.95m) herblore xp in ~5 hours 10 minutes of gameplay, due to the modifier restart i won approximately a million extra xp, more than 4m of that 7m xp was bonus. I'm baffled by the fact that long/curved bones work, would have got 50m+ const if i had known that. Finished with herblore for now, got a nice rank too, but i'm likely to fall a couple of places in the next 2 days, got more than 5 hours of slayer to do before the modifier hits 1.1, at which point i have 6m summoning xp to gain.
  25. A bit? I almost, almost, get hard requirements that you can train however you want, but forcing you to grind tzhaar for freakin ages would make me ragequit. It's elite, nothing should be off limits. If they go by the crybabies on this thread they would also need to do extra-elite and super-elite down the line.
