  1. Nope, don't believe in God, and I don't agree with the Church's opinion against homosexuals. I just happen to know and understand it [for to deny something, you must first fully understand what you are denying]. But it's the right choice for the Church to make. They have they're reasons for it ("a relationship should be both procreative and unitive") and they can't really change they're stance, 'cause there's no turning back if they do, and there's no way it'll blow over well in the Christian community, especially since it'll weaken the strength the Church has in it's steadfast beliefs (especially in matters of pro-life, considering the fact that the Church is the leading pro-life organization in the world). They're playing it safe, the smart thing to do. Still don't agree with it; I'm with Goddess on this one.
  2. That's odd, everything I've learned in my Catholic religion classes points towards number three. Try knowing what you're talking about :-s . As I've said countless times... Christianity does not regard homosexuality itself as sinful, as it is not a choice. It does regard acting on homosexual thoughts as sinful though, which is why the Church asks homosexuals to live a chaste life, in the same way that heterosexuals should live a chaste life until marriage (though more constricted I suppose, as homosexuals aren't permitted to act on their sexual preferences at all). Me, I think it's bullcrap no matter how you look at it, just like 90% of the quoted post. It's 2AM here right now though, so I'll let someone else handle that "thing" referred to as a post. Too tired to enlighten such an ill-informed opinion any more... :wall: . Dear god. Who here wants to sign a petition to get this guy out of the Off-Topic forum? Jesus Christ dude.
  3. You don't believe in man-made globabl warming, or just global warming? 'Cause if you didn't believe global warming existed... :uhh: . Though please, as a "highlyopinionated 14yr old", try having an open mind about the issue, m'kay? Especially with the limited scientific knowledge and authority you have :| .
  4. If you had 99 magic you'd make money with the cape emote? You could do that, or you could just... high alc? Anyway, i'm pretty bored so... Me too... Pressure points. 99 attack and you'd be able to KO someone at the gallbladder, stomach, golgi tendon, triple warmer, gallbladder 20... any pressure point, with 99 attack they're toast. 7/10 But you'd know techniques to fend and deflect attacks, not just take them (I'd consider that HP anyways). 6/10 True, being strong is useful, though I myself wouldn't want "99 stength", way too bulky. 4/10 Okay, so you can survive one hit... doesn't mean they're aren't going to be more :-s . 3/10, since "Hp" is much more mental than physical in real life. I guess, it'd be a talent that would be used on fairly rare occasions though. 5/10. Bleh, prayer doesn't work like that in real life... so sorry people :-$ . With 99 prayer you'd be very Zen though, and you might be able to get your pulse down to 1 BPM like those crazy monks o_O. Ultimate serenity. 6/10, not for the skills, but just for the Zen-nis of of it :P . Realistically, 1/10. Spells require runes. That, and you need to look up the Alchemy laws and regulations  . Transmuting lead, or any other substance, into gold is a criminal offense. Source: Fullmetal Alchemist, episode 9, "Be Thou for the People/Gun no Inu no Gindokei". Awesome skill. Bump that baby up to a 6/10 at least. Agreed  . I agree with your point, but I'd consider it a 0/10 based on that. 2/10... don't know how much 99 fishing is going to help you that much, especially when you can't get into the big money if you work alone. Are you kidding? 10/10! I'd agree, but again, I'd drop that to a 4/10. 3/10. Pfft, 0/10. Me no fan of being trapped in a mine. I'd label this an 8/10. What I could put in the ladies' drinks with that kind of herblore lore... that, and you could spice up any drink perfectly :) . 10/10 if you ask me, though I'm a trickster myself. Though, I can't help but find everyone wishing for 99 agility hilarious; if you didn't spend all day on the frikking computer, you wouldn't need to be here wishing you were actually capable of moving your body! Agreed. Though, being an expert in the field would make for a lot of fun. 5/10 if one wants to live on the edge. Agreed. Meh, 99 farming wouldn't seem all that useful to have alone. If you could give it to yourself and everyone working on your farm, then it might be useful. 3/10. But you can only either Runecraft or Magic, not both  . 1/10. You don't need 99 hunter, you just need to watch Man vs. Wild on Discovery Channel. S'pose I agree on that one as well. Though, you'd be a pretty sweet architect with 99 Construction, and that'd pay a hell of a lot.
  5. But that's the thing, people need some kind of reason to really help out the planet. A reason that benefits them, they're family, and they're lifestyle. The severity of the eco-situation correlates precisely to everyone's willingness to give up any part of their lifestyle for the sake of the environment. If man-made Global Warming is 100% proven, that's when you're going to see the change in people's attitudes, and not a second before then. And everyone, let's be honest. The severity of the situation greatly effects how much everyone here helps the earth, no matter how eco-friendly someone is, no matter how much of a treehugger you think you are. If scientists proved that we're all going to die in the next ten years if we don't lower CO2 emissions, then we'd have people actually doing something- even the most eco-friendly people would be driven to do even more than they've been doing in the past. But until then, people are selfish, and everyone has their limits on how much of their lifestyle they're willing to give up for the sake of a big rock. Me, I'm the same. Sure, I'll recycle, but I'm not going to change my lifestyle if there's no definite proof [don't act like you know] that unless I change my ways and give up a few things it's going to hurt me. It's just how my ego works; sorry if I'm not a treehugger, but I like my lifestyle, and I see no reason to change it. Just my two cents. [-_- and no, my current lifestyle doesn't damage the environment all that much anyways. I recycle, I rarely drive (hate it), don't litter, etc.]
  6. I can also crack my neck at will. Loudly :P . That's disturbing o_O. Like, keep your hands clasped together and circle around your entire body? If so... o-o.
  7. Did you know cows kill more people each year than sharks? :-w
  8. I tried, but Al Gore is just so boring. Apart from those few episodes of the Simpsons and Futurama he was in \ Don't forget South Park  .
  9. We play Risk a lot. It's always fun completely obliterating my siblings.
  10. You

Lay off the drugs. I don't really feel like trying to figure out all your little logical gaps, because unlike reading real poetry, I doubt most of this even has a hidden meaning. Do you just hate the world or something, and are denying reality? Or are you just trying to be randomly poetic? Either way, there's no way any sane human being would even begin to be able to understand what the hell you're saying, especially with all the frikking logical jumps between paragraphs.
  11. 1/10, recognize the name...
  12. Hm... Apples vs. oranges... Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 vs. Chess...
  13. Call in the Dog Whisperer! Or you could explain the dog and kitten's personalities better so we could give proper advice; every dog is different.
  14. Not saying I agree with kido, but I'm getting a similiar vibe from this thread. I've also been on a few mission trips myself (to orphanages in Mexico), but I've never really felt a need to go and tell everyone about it :| . The fact that, as kido stated, there is no real room for discussion in the OP's post is probably what's giving me a bad vibe. Now, if he said something like "I'd like to hear everyone's experiences on mission trips and see how similiar they are to my own", I'd recognize that this thread is not asking for attention in any way, shape, or form. But the way the OP phrased his post... :| . [The phrase "doing good should be it's own reward" keeps popping into my head for some reason whenever I look at this thread.]
  15. Have you started visiting colleges yet? Started? I've visited over 10 :P .
  16. I'm starting senior year August 23rd. Application time, fun. Though I gave myself three total semesters of free periods to make my last year before college easy (Junior year is hell at my school, and I'm not talking SAT's and ACT's at all- the schoolwork's the most intense during Junior year). Thankfully the registrar's office must have been in a good mood when setting up my schedule, as two of those three are in both semester's first periods (last was 3rd period, second semester). So I have one free period first semester and two free periods second semester, as well as a less rigorous courseload than last year's (AP Latin Virgil was workload HELL :ohnoes: ). Know what that means? It means that every school day of my senior year won't start at 8AM- it'll start at 9AM. Hellz ya.
  17. So you edited out Zezima's name and just put in your own? Okay, looks right, pretty simple though :| .
  18. o-O. Insane job on Spiderman himself, shading... everything, he's perfectly done :o. Background rocks, especially the sun behind the clouds and the perspective on all the buildings. It appears that his upper body is close to parallel to the ground, leaning downwards at the least (trademark Spider-Man stance, nice job); it looks natural [to me] since the upper body is closer than the lower body, thus making it logical for the upper body to appear larger.

Man, I hate that, it's so freaky. I think I have it too :ohnoes: Do we just rot? Do we go to heaven / hell? Do we automatically become an animal / baby / whatever? Really? I kind of think of not-existing after death as a form of nirvana, of final and eternal peace :) . What's scary about something that doesn't involve any emotional or physical pain whatsoever? Everyone's time comes eventually. Just live life to the fullest, find your meaning, and there's no reason to fear something like non-existence.
  20. Uh... a peacock? Did you just make this thread 'cause you were wondering what the bird was :-s ?
  21. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
Well, for one thing, I'm agnostic; I don't believe in God (or any god, for that matter), which is why I was confused. The Ra thing was just rhetorical sarcasm. Though I still don't get it, why were you making your post in response to mine? The only way I see would be if you thought I was being serious when I mentioned Ra :| . Basically, the point of my post is exactly the same thing you just said- that the burden of proof lies on him, not us. I added Ra into the picture to better explain the fact that just because something can't be disproven doesn't mean it's logically sound (because, obviously... nothing can be 100% disproven -_-").
  22. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
I'm confused... you were talking to him, right o_O?
  23. Combine the movement and the comparison of the dialogue in the pic with what you wrote in your post, and I'd say this pic won :-w .
  24. Rebdragon replied to Notorious_Ice's topic in Off-Topic
Not that anyone has even talked about the existence of God in the past 20 pages, but: Teacup. Great job asking someone to prove a negative. Genius. I swear, Ra is laughing down at the earth right now from his throne on the Sun after reading that post on the solar-resistant computer Horus gave him last Christmas. Oh, and before you say that's ludicrous, show me proof that he isn't really reading this post right now from his palace on the Sun. What proof do you have that he isn't?
