  1. I'd say Zelda's adventure, not an RPG. I absolutely loved Diablo 2, but not because of RPG factors, so I'm not listing that one either. Same goes for Dungeon Siege 2. As for me, in no particular order, simply because I cannot: - Lufia 2 (SNES) - Chrono Trigger (SNES) - Final Fantasy VI (SNES) - Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn (PC) - Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) Honorable mention for Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario: TTYD :
  2. I raise you by 21 minutes, and happy newyears tip.it :)
  3. Yes, there, also 4 or 5 quests in STV are borked, along with one I just found in Badlands. Horde side? I found nothing wrong with alliance quests around those levels (but I skipped most of STV), even if the twin elite dragon quest in Badlands is no longer marked as a group quest, with the dragons still being very much elite. Besides, Dustwallow xp / items are extremely good for a feral druid. I upgraded most of my gear over there. The Stranglethorn Fever quest got hammered, aye. You must now collect 1 gorilla fang to start the event. It consists of three waves; the first consists of one Enraged Silverback, the second has Konda and the third has the quest mob. Nets you 8300xp, about double the standard quest xp. Hardly makes any sense. Also, the quest which previously involved killing the level 50 elite Gorilla on Jaguaro Isle now involves a level 42 non-elite. And the requirement to even accept the quest from the letter in a bottle is still 45 -.- I'd say they messed some stuff up.
  4. Level 53, if I recall correctly. It's been a while :P
  5. Heh, loved the series but never quite noticed that one. Nice find :) I saw someone refer to these as "easter eggs". Some call 'm that, but since they're not actually hidden, I'd say they're just pop culture references.
  6. There's probably a few people on the crew who'll go summon crazy, so I'll sit back and relax. If it turns out to be fun, I might train it. If it turns out to be as exciting as Hunter currently is, then I'll pass :P
  7. [hide][/hide] Indestructable, I tell ye.
  8. While I'm still not particulary happy with how they handled things, I never thought it would be the end of the world. Seems things are settling, and the bounty hunter area is happily being abused as the new free for all pk'ing grounds as predicted :P Still, it's a shame that deathmatching and mage bank pk'ing are kinda dead at the moment. I'm still a tad worried about the upcoming trade limit, though. Hope that'll work out as well.
  9. You're taking things out of context a bit. If the fellow in the picture is your average pirate, then I'd say a Samus Aran would be your average ninja. I'm fairly sure she'd be able to take out a good 200 of 'm. That being said, I'm sticking with ninjas.
  10. I think pretty much everybody remembers their first real kiss. If you have good memories of it, all the better :)
  11. Yeah, I thought the sell price was the "internal" price of the item. Otherwise, you'd get rich sellings your party hats to stores, doubt Jagex'd want that. Edit: nvm that then :)
  12. What's wrong with kissing for first time at age of 16? It would seem awkward while apparently most people have had theirs at 13 :XD: Maybe. But that's probably due to everyone feeling like that at around that age and therefore kissing for the hell of it :P I myself was rather late, being 15. But I'm not complaining :) the girl I was with was a couple of years younger, and I felt really confident around her, no annoying nerves which always seemed to plague me at school and all. Was during summer holidays, met her in Centreparks sometime. Got along nicely, and even as a 15 year old I noticed she liked me a bit more than joe average (in hindsight, I found out I missed some obvious signals with other girls, kind of stuff you find out when you talk about it years later :P). We decided to go to the swimming area that evening, and near closing time, we ended up in a hottub, just the two of us. And then there were her eyes, and then...;) hottubs
  13. That's bug abusing? if not it's my chance for the friggin cape! "Clever use of game mechanics" ;) It's not like you can't get them stuck without them using a snowman, anyway.
  14. I confess :P got my strength to 99 by means of a halberd, a room full of docile fire giants and a healthy dose of forums  I'm not doing too bad, considering I haven't gained a level for...let's say, quite some time
  15. Ah, that's nice. Having prepared an Adrenaline Rush in advance seemed rather odd anyway :P And in case the index's still being updated: /Zenedar /Bogsie /A (Gnome Mage) /Zenedar /Wosgie/A (Human Warlock) /Zenedar /Schaduwblad/A (Gnome Rogue)
  16. Hmm, I like Galaxy even better than 64, Wii controls or not. Most fancy "shake the controller" things can be done from the wrist, anyway. Out of the games I own, only Metroid Prime's a fairly tiring game, since you're aiming all the time. That being said, I don't know much about the other consoles, so I ticked "Don't know", since there's some games on the other consoles I might possibly love :)
  17. I see some people quoting pics entirely. Even if I approve of having beautiful women on the moderating team, please don't quote pics, makes the pages huuuge and the topic a bit messy :) As for me, all I have on the pc 's a standard picture I had taken about a year ago... ...on a saturday morning.
  18. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=723972 *snicker* And indeed, don't see miniclip as the root of all evil. Through miniclip, more people started to play RS. And among that wave of new players are bound to be a few rotten apples. But it was not like RS being a paradise before they started advertising over there :P have a look over Neil's, err, Meili's post :-w
  19. When I was a wee little sub-10 player, and Varrock had fearsome aggresive rats in dark alleys. It ate me :
  20. Yup, that will usually work. And if they claim it's all lies, challenge them to read through the rules ;) Either way, I wouldn't be too worried about false accusations. And if by some miracle the folks at Jagex decide to punish you anyway, you could always make an appeal and post it here first. I'm sure there's people willing to help you out with improving your appeal. And from what I gather from this thread, the meaning of minor seems to be "younger lazy bum who can't be bothered playing the game and instead begs and harrasses fellow players"
  21. Judging from the picture.. You came across an advert of the kind "lolz i take over ur browsers!!" and were redirected to a page for some crappy product called MalwareAlarm. The website displays some bull about your system which are with 99% probability flat out lies, in order to try and get you to install said crappy product, along with all the spyware it contains. (not trojans, spyware) So as long as you don't buy it and install anything, you'll be fine. It's a bad advert nonetheless, and should be reported. Imagine this one popping up while you're out there in the f2p wilderness
  22. I try to go through feedback (both threads posted here as well as web submissions) at least once a week. Thanks for your post :)
  23. I'm not particulary active on 'Scape, but I still come here every day. Good place, this is :)
  24. I've never actually had a "hi-guys-i'm-quitting-rs" kind of quit, but I've taken two big breaks. One way back in RSC when I came to the point that RS was getting boring and I'd rather play other games, and another right after getting into WoW. I'm still not on as much as I used to be :P
  25. Behind the possibly deceiving looks of a browser game, RS is a rock solid game in it's own right, and definitly not just for MMO newbies and people with old pc's. It's just that many younger players stumble across RS as it is quite popular and is a free internet game. But it's suitable for a pretty diverse playerbase, really.
