You guys really are an exciting couple... Valentines day has too much build-up... you're better off doing something boring and saving the good stuff for the following weekend  It's all about efficiently distributing the romance :ugeek: You are... Common misconception: sex is mindblowingly great. Sure it's fun and good to do, but nothing to get worked up about. You people need to be more blazé.

Wow I'm a [bleep]ing MORON! I didn't mention this earlier but two weeks ago while doing pushups I tweaked my shoulder and I could barely move it for the next 2 days. Then I go bench the next day... I must've torn something right then and there. I've only been able to start doing upper body exercises three days ago, and even now my shoulder is acting up again  . This really sucks, as it's my first weight lifting related accident since I started this whole business (other than swore muscles) and I hate being set back ~1month due to one silly muscle. If I have a bum shoulder when I hit 40 i'm going to be really angry with 20 year old me. Lesson; never do too many pushups two days in a row. Leave a 24 hour repair period or you'll screw something up.

Is anyone else on these forums doing research?? I know warri0r was trying to way back when and probably got a spot [he was a smart dude that one], and I'm the only other person who I know has done/is doing research. Anyways, it's all fun and games until you have to present in front of your lab. I'm now in a position where I need to know EVERYTHING about a single enzyme which sounds simple enough in theory but I've witnessed graduate students with 5x the knowledge I have get completely owned by the professor I'm working under. I think I was less stressed when I was chased through the city by 3 huge dudes (okay it was only for like 2 blocks but still). Also, if anyone is interested in doing research (university) then I'd be more than happy to answer any questions. I've been through the hoops and back

Today nothing happened [just woke up] but last night... woah girl! Oh man, I got a text from a girl that made me high five so hard that I almost broke the mirror in the gym locker room [yes I high five mirrors when I high five myself, jealous?]. It's so good, but I'm keeping it to myself and I would have shared it here but I'd scar a couple of minors in doing so  Other than that, there was lots of beer and "stuff" involved so naturally it was a good night for me.

1- I can't contain myself when big men grunt at the gym. I have a huge stupid grin right now, just typing about it. 2- Unopened 24's of (good) beer 3- Walking home drunk at 4 in the morning jamming to music (this isn't just a one-time thing, it's biweekly actually)

Eyyy, this jacket rocks! Actually everything I ordered is mint, including the extra shirt I had forgotten I'd ordered  I was wondering, who here thinks I should cut off the 'rope-tighetening-gadgets' on the coat's collar? I'm thinking yes, but it's permanent if I do remove them.

I don't know much but; my brother borrowed a stack of books from a guy who failed the MCAT 3 times (which is the limit or something, you can't take it again after that) and studied them over half a summer. They were big books that stacked as high as 3 dictionaries and he went through them all and got 90%+ on the MCAT. I guess it depends on how you learn. If you need a teacher, do a prep course. If you know you can learn on your own (u'll need to have gone to university for this) then just borrow the required books and enjoy (hahaha).

I was sent off to go for last night's beer run, when I came back I had [bleep]ing eyebrow icicles. Then when I left my friends house at 4AM there was a foot of freaking snow everywhere and I had to walk in the middle of the road, the only path cleared, to get home. Its a good thing all the drivers out at that hour were drunk and driving on the sidewalks ;)

As a newly appointed scientist I say SUCK IT to all the artists who can't makes ends meat because of illegal downloads. Scientists willingly publish their results and upload all their data they've spent months, years or decades acquiring to public domains for anybody who could find it useful. We spend years and years in academics just to contribute to the advancement of science for the benefit of society, and are also underpaid/underfed.... but do we complain? No, because we're smart enough to realize that we are doing something we love and that's what truly matters. So if artists find it unfair that they aren't making enough money for what they do, I honestly have no more sympathy for them (suck it).

^^ sweet boots. Ordered this stuff from PLNDR yesterday; I have no idea how warm the coat is, but spring is coming up anyways so it's no big deal if it's thin. The belt and shoes are for summer, and the t-shirt is purely so I can look like Waldo when I feel like it  . I had like 3-4 nice sweaters ready to order but decided not to as I already own a bunch and sweaters aren't something you want a lot of (take up too much space).

Mum came home right when I was getting to the good part... uuuurgh. I'd say that I need my own place but meh, [cabbage] happens. Now I'm going off drinking cause I have Fridays off

I got next week off at the lab because I'm a total baller.. no hitches in my project and this is my first time doing research. Time to study for my actual courses

My clones were a success, and the DNA they replicated was the DNA I was hoping they would have replicated  And it only took me a little under a month :shades:

It's pretty boring. But I still think it's a good book. I stopped reading in the middle of chapter 4. Please tell me it gets better. The great Gatsby and The God Delusion are the only 2 books I never read from cover to cover. I've avoided books by reading the backs and the first few pages, but actually stopping half way through... takes a lot for me.

This is such [cabbage].... We have the worst Internet and cell phone service in all the developed countries what the [bleep]. *smashes blender*

I was in tears when Ovy was taking a cellphone pick of Kessel sitting alone... omfg

Mildly entertaining anecdote: Last night two friends and I went to mcdonalds for a bigmac run for some reason. Behind us in line are two 15 year old skanks, when I finally noticed they were there they were already eye [bleep]ing one of my friends. Feeling left out with a hurt ego, I took my 3 bigmacs and went to go sit down when the two girls looked at me, shocked, and asked if I was going to eat all 3 by myself. Unimpressed by the whole situation I looked at them with dead eyes and said 'no, one is for me and two for the python living in my pants'. They didn't get it but my friends were in tears so I took it as a win and went to sulk and eat.

Normally when I make drunken bigmac runs to mcdonalds I am the happiest boy in the world and nothing can change that, EXCEPT when there is a gang of 16 year old high school kids (all guys) hanging around the place in super fancy clothes. Last night I noticed their accent, which indicated they went to the same ghetto high school as me, and felt like knocking their teeth out so badly as I waited for my burger. Just looking at the bunch of them makes me share the same pain as suicide bombers surely have (FBI list get).

Hold on... how do you turn off the internet?

I didn't do anything special, and I've put my university project on hold to watch the live stream of people trashing the streets of Egypt

9 hours of work (including the 2 weeks of work I put into that before) for the entire day and I got [cabbage] results  [bleep] SCIENCE *smashes blender*

Hey, on what do you do your pull ups? I want to do daily pull-ups, too  TODAY IS RESEARCH DAY WOOO! I inoculated my cute little bacteria yesterday, now they should be billions large =D> Time to kill them all and collect their DNA =D>

I just bought 3 t-shirts, a slim hoodie and a pair of shoes from PLNDR but they already took down the images for them so I'll post pictures next time I order  I'm kiiiiinda looking for a cool watch to wear on occasion, normally I prefer having my wrists naked except for a sillyband  . It would have to be something that'd make me look like a baller, and wouldn't show off my skinny little girl wrists.

Today I brushed the snow off my car, in -26oC weather (feels like -50oC according to the weatherman though!)

SC2 hands down. Last night my friends and I watched too much die hard and it got a bit extreme, my face was bleeding for a good half hour before I told it to suck it up and that it was embarrassing me on die hard night. I mean, when you invent a game where you have to drink every time McClane does something badass something like getting blood all over the place is bound to happen am i right?
