Hunting makes about 280k per hour pure profit for me which beats Runecrafting below lvl 91.

+

Alot of Runecrafters don't seem to subtract the cost of ess (and any other items they use up as training) from there total. :shame:

If you don't subtract the cost of supplies then I could just say I make 550k an hour fletching or something like that. <.<

Anyone know exact amount of money made with skills roughly?

Slayer - Say abbysals - mainly Runes, Essence, Clues, Whips, Rune armour say roughly how many gp per hour?

RC- heard 50-75 RC is around 300k an hour? 75 - 500k an hour?

RC = runecrafting.

:roll: oh my gosh i am not stupid...what runes do you craft thats makes that kinda money?

Nature runes, usually through the abyss since it's the fastest method of making them.

I have to agree with runecrafting being the best moneymaker. Not only does it bring in a lot of money, the money it brings in is very consistent. The amount made doesn't vary a lot per hour.

according to me, it is fishing at 80+ and why? Because shark will be a bit slower at 76-79.

the prices which have been ruthlessly dropped by bots have been going up to 600gp ea and it is rising. So up dat fishin' level!

Combat is not discarted;

If you go collect average drop information and money per hour from 100+ veteran dag king teams, barrowsers, slayers, kqers, etc., and they all come up close to each other in money/hr averages, I think other players would somewhat consider including combat. However, there are no specific statistics or even close averages for these, and I do not expect there to be. They are completely random, and involve more than the actual skill. I think we should vote to disculde combat.

Dag kings trip take up some time to...

If i'm maging I will end up being there for about 3 hours straight, sometimes longer...

I have lucky trips, my last solo trip I pulled in 2 d axes, 1 warrior, 1 berserker...

due to the high ammount of people doing dag kings these days, D axe prices have fallen to around 2.5m...

so although I made about 7m that trip, I used up about 500k in supplies and I often have trip's where I return with nothing...

how can slayer be the best SINGLE moneymaking skill? even if you had 99 slayer without any combat stats you couldnt make any money.

I don't think that you can have 99 slayer without any combat stats.

check zzzamorak- 55+ slayer without any combat stats. 99 is possible, though pointless.

Construction and investing in Santas.

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

Please don't continue.

Hasn't this been dicussed before?

Oh yes, but apparently everything in General P2P has to come up and die at least 3 times a year, resulting in boring repeating topics such as this one.

Construction and investing in Santas.

construction isn't a decent money making skill at all and investing in santas takes a long time to get any noticeable effects.

For someone who claims to already have seen this topic I'm amazed you come up with such weak moneymaking skills (one of which isn't even a skill)

Also, any particular reason why there are so many people DKing these days more so than in the past?

Farming is better even than RC, especially now with My Arm's patch.

Every 3 hours you get 3 million with runecrafting. Every 3 hours with farming you can get a maximum of (15 is the max right?) 150 snapdragon. Wich is a bit over 1 million. Explain how farming is the better skill.

First of all, you only need 32 farming to start making bank. You need at least 75 runecrafting in order to start making even half a mil an hour. And you aren't making a mil per hour, sorry. You'd have to craft 5k nats an hour to do that, which I'm pretty sure you can't do even at 91 RC. Factor in ess cost when calculating money made.

It takes 75 minutes for an herb patch to grow. You average 6 herbs per patch, in my experience, using magic secateurs, supercompost, and factoring in the herbs that die. So each run gets you 30 herbs. If you bought your herb seeds, you probably paid about 100k for them, whether you grow ranarrs or snapdragons. The 30 snaps will get you 240k, the ranarrs will get you 180k, for profits of 140k and 80k, respectively.

But here's the beauty part - an herb farming run takes not even 10 minutes. An hour of farming includes 6-7 runs, because the rest of the time is spent on other skills. So for your 10 minutes of effort, you make 80-140k. So an hour of farming will actually make you anywhere between 480k and 998k. And none of the worries of runecrafting, like getting pked.

So yes, as a matter of fact, farming is a better moneymaker than runecrafting.
