I think this may be legal. It may not be right, but i dont think Jagex can do anything about people going into the wild on their own accord. As long as the lurer doesnt come in contact with the person they are killing, it could be considered pking.

Whether classed as luring or not i can't stand the way he says safer and teles? I mean its not as if the planned on pking.

 

On the other hand though its stupidity on the victims part. I have even less respect for them than the actual lurers. I think the ditch has helped a bit,but of course theres always going to be a few stupid players...

ginger is right, this isn't luring. this is people taking advantage of people's stupidity and greed. Jagex put up enough safes, and they work. its up to the people to use them.

1st of all: Who says that lurers don't dare to fight people who fight back? often they have very nice stats and are actually pretty good at killing the people that fight back ;)

 

 

 

2nd: it isn't like a mugger that picks on an old lady at all, the old lady can't do anything to defend herself because she is limited by her age and strength, Instead the idiot getting lured is IGNORING MANDATORY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND WARNINGS, and in most ages, not even old enough to legally play this game.

 

 

 

and last: I find it very amusing to search for lurers and kill them, they usually carry very nice loot and awfully little food. And it's not like they'll report you if you try to kill them, it's all good. Now just go read some book on logics and then one on the relations between runescape and an old lady :S And if you can't find any on that subject, write one yourself, you seem to know an awful lot about it...

I don't know why you guys hate lurers. If you go into the wilderness with loads of money you must be really stupid...If you're new to the game, then that's OK. You learned your lesson and you won't do it again. If you do it again, then yeah, you're stupid.

It's not luring, it's not done the same way as the original luring. Besides, I'm sure Jagex are over their heads with hearing about luring. The idiots had their ditch, now it's finished, whatever happens in the wild now is pking that's all. In Rsc, there wasn't any rubbish about protecting people from their stupidity, pkers could do everything they wanted. Gee it's just a game, let people have their fun, even if some are sad because they lost virtual possesions.

I dont care about the ditch because I make useful runes like Laws and Nats... It really makes no difference to me because I dont really go in the wildy that often, only when my friends want to try the KBD again...

He doesn't look like a guy I'd like to spend anything more than 5 seconds with, I'll agree, but then again this thread isn't about whether I like him. TBH, I don't much time for most PKers, especially not the self-proclaimed "ownage" ones.

 

 

 

But this thread is about whether he's doing anything wrong. Don't compare this example to fishing - one's a prgram generating a load of random numbers to come to a final conclusion, the other is another human's emotions, actions and stupidity. I can't see what the PKer has done wrong. He's not 'lured', at least not in the way that Jagex banned. If people are stupid enough to fall for this trick, it's their own fault.

The only people who deserved to be lured are lurers themselves.

I laughed so hard when that one guy that had 5 hp left after being unsuccessfully lured went back to try and get the rune helm. Even though I don't support luring at all, that guy was definitely deserving to be killed.
