I hope no one has already posted this (if they have...sorry!)

Did you know that you can travel from Brimhaven to Shilo Village (and vice versa) via the cart for only 10gp? Just make sure you're only carrying 10gp in your inventory and the driver will ALWAYS ask for 10gp to travel there!

NOTE: This won't work if you have 11gp or more with you.

Did you know that even if you have 11 gp or more that sometimes they will only ask you for 10 gp, especially if you use them a lot. I usually carry much more than 10 gp and they, 9 out of 10 times, only charge me 10gp

Current goal: Getting enough prayer pots to finish my last four quests.

Did you know..

...that a long time ago, in RSC (and part of RS2 methinks) you could use any skull to complete the Restless Ghost quest. There were two skulls that respawned in the wilderness which you could use. But now, there is a specific "Ghosts Skull" that you have to kill a skeleton to get.

Purple party hats were Pink, and they were also the rarest, with blue being the most common! The pink ones were duplicated the most, and they were then the most common, but nobody duplicated the blue, so they were the rarest!

lol how can you duplicate an item? I guess its impossible but I dont think you lie #-o

Did you know there is one shorter skillcape in runescape?

,the dwarf mining master wears it.

Duplicating

November 06, 2003. After I released AutoRune with autotrading

support, SixFeetUnder discovered that it can be used for

duping. He was trying to trade one of the holiday items with

AutoRune by giving server invalid parameters. Ironically,

anything could be duped except stackable items (money,

certificates etc). And the best thing is - you didn't even

need the item you wanted to duplicate, so it was

more like item creating. That was a big fun day. The RuneScape

economy had to suffer. Hundreds of hats were created, other

items worth billions in GP. Not all accounts were banned,

some AutoRuners made quite a fortune. After many hours

it took for Jagex to discover and fix the bug, the main

dupers got banned. Items were not deleted, the game

was not rolled back.

Various bugs

After duping lots and lots of things were tried out with

AutoRune. The most significant being:

- you could cast spells without runes and without a target

enabling incredibly fast leveling

- you could create women with beards

- you could attack and kill yourself in wilderness

- you could create a character without body (it still was

showing up in minimap and when mouse was moved over)

There were more, but these were the main ones.

Wow! That sounds awesome lol, I wish I had been around when that was happening.

They should duplicate the game, so that those who enjoyed that could play it as a seperate game lol.

PHEW! That was some interesting reading! Took me a couple of hours to get through 21 pages!

But here is my 2 cents:

Did you know...

You can pay farmers to watch crops and trees(and fruit trees) in noted items?

i.e. When paying a farmer to watch a pineapple tree you may have 10+ noted watermelons in your inventory. The farmer will only take 10 noted watermelons.

drinking pots, too, will temporarily stop your cannon

if this has been said, sorry about saying it again.

while you are a monkey on ape atoll, you never get a random, EVER!

Some places that used to allow randoms no longer do, thankfully :) The Dk lair, for example, no longer gives randoms. Upon entering the leo random, too, your prayers are turned off, and you come back into rs with those prayers on

you mean a duck walking around is a glitch? or it having walked on the ground that far being a glitch?

because with the duck update, ducks became non marine specific animals.

Well, it didn't esem to walking round, more floating, like it would on water, so either it was a glitch, or the animation isn't very good...

Ducks aren't always swimming in real life are they? To me that duck looked like it was walking...I don't know, I think it's meant to be like that.

Did you know...

That if you're in a free world, while wearing members' clothing, and any amount of money in your inventory,

you'll always keep the members' items if you should die?

Even if you have 10m+ on you.

That if you click on a fishing spot, right before it's about to move,

you'll automatically move towards it's new location?

That in RuneScape Classic, you could mine, even though your inventory was full?

The mined ore would just be dropped on the ground, automatically.

That in RuneScape Classic, you could attempt to mine any rock you wanted,

even though you didn't have the mining level required?

Your character would just stand there, with a pickaxe over his head

(That's how the animation of a mining player looked like back then) forever.

That in early RuneScape Classic, runite was actually purple-ish? You'd only see it on Andrew and Paul,

though (Keep in mind, this was when people were amazed seeing mithril :XD: ).

Later on, players started getting it, and everybody could wear it,

since it had no level requirement to wear.

That if you hold the 'Ctrl' key, and click on the mini-map/somewhere to move,

you'll automatically run?

Even though you don't have run on 'On'.

Very handy, if you need to run away from a random event.

I bet you never knew...

...that if you examine the quizmaster, it sais: ''Apparently a master of quizzes!''

...that if you are doing quizmaster at the same time and in the same world as someone else, and right-click yourself, their name will come up because they are stitting under you!

If you activate your gem to ask something to your slayer master, your character will automatically turns his body to the direction of the slayer master, no matter where you are.

edit: not true, in some places it works, but sometimes he just turns another way.

...that you can't run on any ship in RuneScape, you are always walking until you get off.

Wrong, you can run on the trawler ship.(trawler minigame)
