its summer there gonig to be packed becasue everyones off from school and other things. in winter 99 will be below 1600 players...

We were told to wait a week. Its been over a week since the update, and from noon to 4:30 pm ive had full worlds. I dont know if you people like lieing to eachother about a world, but somethings up.

 

 

 

Im not waiting out untill winter, and right now you peoples love for a server of a game is making me question the intelligence of this community.

 

 

 

Note, this was during weekdays, not weekends. So the traffic on weekends makes it even more full.

I would agree with you on the weekends being more full in general, but for whatever reason 99 hasn't maxed out once in the last 24 hours. The world population has been showing a steady decline since this all started. Even when the world has been full it's only been for a ~4 hour window in the afternoon from 1-5pm EST.

tell you the truth i never really ventured on the tip home world anyway so i really dont care lol.. I'm using the old old tip home world w9 and i'll stick to it

w99 has only ever been full like twice for me at peak times on a saturday evening..i'm usually on 99 but sometimes i'm not because slayer locations are full

I don't care just so long as it's not some remote zone like Australia where I really lag.

it's full because it's summer, all the students with nothing better to do are playing. pretty much every world is in the 1900s at peak times

ya, also i have been using world 99 for 2 weeks now and never had a problem gettin in once, whoever is having a problem i think ur just gettin bad luck, and try more than once to get in (i try like 10 times to get into world 6 for assualt)

I thought the pc world was 78? world 99 always seems to be empty of pcers, at least when I go there.

 

 

 

Anyway, I do agree that world 99 seems to have to many players for it to be a good home world. After all, what is the purpose of a home world? A server where tip.iters can run into fellow tip.iters. With world 99 being anywhere from 1700-1900-200 people, I find this as defeating the purpose. A real home world would have less then 1500 people on it at peak times. And if you do not want to run into an "hyt", then go to a different world and get away for a log session or two.

 

 

 

I do support a new home world. But, I don't care if a select group of 5 friends chooses it, or if we vote.

World 99 has been going on and off full for the past hour. This isnt even peak time yet.

 

 

 

Any world will do now, as long as its stable and not constantly full.

Its funny how half the people on this thread say world 99 is fun untill you train. If we hop worlds, odds are the training spots will be somewhat open again.

 

 

 

Obviously, one or two people arnt going to change it. Most of the people i have spoken to in game or in our irc #tip-it agree that world 99 is getting full and change isnt that bad of an idea.

 

 

 

Ive given up on this thread, I am not going to try to get into a world for the sake of a community, because i should have to. We had a person try to get into w99 for 7 minutes untill he finally got in. Thats just an example of what its getting to.

 

 

 

Im personally not going to wait, or make a desktop link to 99, or any other world other than w2.

world 88 is pretty narmal.

I have never once needed more than 1 refresh of world select to get in.

99 was vary rarely full prior to June, now it is full sometimes, all the servers are more full though because all the schools are out all aroudn the world. I'll go on any world not full of people destroying my latency.

I grew fond of 99, but I guess it needs to be changed. Hard to say "hyt" to someone without dozens of other people in the world reporting you. plus, it takes forever to get in.

 

 

 

 

 

I don't care what world it becomes, as long as its nothing with repetitive digits like 55 or 111. Those worlds can easily turn into worlds for something else. pick some other world thats more out of the way with random numbers.
