Now, people will try to make a name for themselves here and give you unfair trades. However, in the past I have gone pking naked into the Wilderness, using only the items I could find. I came out with full rune gear and a few black hide sets :P. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Rune large for 2 rune meds , each rune med for a rune kite, both rune kites for a rune plate, rune plate for 1 rune chain and 1 rune legs. Rune legs for a rune kite, rune chain for a rune kite and a rune long. Both kites for another plate and the long for a large. The plate and the large for 2 guthix pages. 2 guthix pages for Torag hammers,... Now you're talking ;) (I am not up to date with rune prices, so most of that was just guessing, but you get my point...) Its ruined because your trades are unfair. The game's whole principle is to make fair trades with the items. But in the fiar trade u get the thing worth slightly more. You have advertised and therefore got trades from ppl trying to help you. Wooden Shield for rune large is not a fair trade and nor is rune large for sara kite they are both HUGE value jumps. If you do it properly without advertising you build it up. Its ruined because the only two trades so far are un-realistic trades, so its not about trading items of near worth for each other, its about: here have full sara for a rune kite lolz. If your going to do that just ask one of your rich friends for a santa for the sara kite and declare your experiment a success. Edit:beaten to it :evil: Edit2: to expand on that, if you'd exchanged your wooden shield for 5 feathers,and then those 5 feathers for 15 bronze arrows, and then those arrows for 10 normal logs, then those logs for 1000 cash, then that for addy legs etc... it would be a more organic process and less about the whimsy of richer players. That's the idea that the value slightly increases, the first trades are big jumps because the people who did them weren't clinging onto every bit of GP they can get their hands on and wanted to attempt to help this task with me. I'm not asking for your money, I don't even want the end product, I will hand it over to the tip.it community in the form of a drop party when the goal is reached.
