September 1, 200718 yr I'd say it was 80/100 at first... 7 pairs of d boots in two days made me happy. Day 3 I did two bandos trips with friends (mostly to be sociable.) We got two bandos hilts in two trips, so now I'm going with 100/100... those two trips were fun. now im the only one who needs a bandos hilt drop heh Road To Trimmed Completionist
September 1, 200718 yr 100/100 There are safespots, and it's just a good area to train, if you know how not to get killed 8-) 103 Combat
September 1, 200718 yr I haven't been in the dungeon but i must say the Godsword is WAY to over powered just for picture i saw so if any pure got there hands on it they could who be too happy... its a horrible let down so 0/100 for the god sword... It is not overpowered. It's extremely difficult to get on your own, and even the cheapest sword costs upwards of 55m. The Armadyl Hilt is EXTREMELY rare, and I would estimate there are less than ten of them in the game. Each sword sells for around 100m+ Besides, in the hands of a pure, it's no more overpowered than a rune crossbow with dragonfire bolts. The pricetag on the godsword, as well as the difficult to obtain it without spending a fortune, is what justifies its power. I do believe, however, that they should've put a 75 prayer requirement on it, just for good measure. And back on topic, I give this update a 90/100. I expected the graphics of the dungeon to be better, similar to the Tzhaar dungeon only icy. The bosses look incredible, though. I personally think that they should've made the hilts and the completed godswords untradable, to make them more prestigious. Oh, and the Avaintese being immune to melee is a disappointment. They could've just given them the ability to lower your stats, instead. And I am very pleased with the looks and stats of the new items, with the exception of the Steamy Air staff. The Bandos Plate looks incredible, as does the Godsword. I love my Godsword, it's easily my favorite item now. I love being able to hit above 40s with ease.
September 1, 200718 yr overall 90/100 Combat 126 Godsword: 30/100 - I'll admit I was very very excited to see the sword come out, but when I heard it was 2 handed, I lost all interset in it. And it seems to over powered for the amount of hit points our characters can achieve... Whip & Dragon fire shield all the way! Bandos armor: 100/100 - Sick sick sick!!! best looking piece of armor,.plus it has awsome defence. Altough the tassets looks kinda goofy when worn with this big bad looking plate, the strength bonus of them makes up for that. Dragon boots: 50-100/100 - I give the boots a 50 because they look, well... UGLY! I mean it looks like Jagex thought of the dragon boots realease at the very last moment. on the other hand I give them 100, well because, they're DRAGON BOOTS! Armadyl armor: 80/100 - Finally range armor that has better range attack bonuses than black d'hide/kharils/3rd age. Steam staff: .1/100 - Usless... Completely usless Dungeon: 100/100 - I have to say, Jagex did a great job with the graphics on this one... The new bosses look awsome, I was pretty intimidated when I first went in the dungeon seeing all the monsters everywhere. I'll admit, I was a little nervious at times lol.
September 1, 200718 yr I'd say 98/100. The -5 is because the Dragon boots aren't the best looking things out there. A little too red with (almost) no shading; But that's about it. Great update. Oh, and to Jordanweb, you're an idiot. You just complain because you don't get any drops. There's a reason why it's called a 'rare' drop..because it's rare! And because it's a very good set of armour, they make it hard to get. Sure, it's not the best armour out there (Barrows), hence why you always have to repair Barrows armour. If you didn't, the prices would make armour like dragon seem likerune is to steel (price wise). You know who you sound like? One of those morons who if they don't get a good drop every 10 kills, they're mad and complain. Go back to the RSOF, you dolt. Jeez, shut up and go cry in a corner. Thanks Jason321 for the sig!^ Proud to have served the Tip.it Crew Drops: 2x D Chain, 1x D Legs, 2x D Left Half, 1x D spear, 2x D med (monsters), 5x D Med (Barrows), 4x D Axe, 2x Zerker, Abyssal whip x1, 7x D BootsBarrows items: 55 (not counting the meds)
September 1, 200718 yr 75/100 i wouldn't mind if the dungeon was a bit bigger, and the boss monsters need a lot more hitpoints if they're going to be a real challenge. 108 combat, 90 attack, 91 strength, 80 defence, 60 prayer, 90 hitpoints. nudist hippy vegan elves who inexplicably wear leather.
I agree that the bosses need more HP... However, I think that it's a coding barrier... If you notice, no monster in the game has over 255 HP. That leads me to believe that the way their coding works, that is the maximum HP they can set.

September 1, 200718 yr 95/100 one of the best updates ever But they should let the spiritual ranger drop something usefull Prayer 99Range 99Omw to become a Tank Ranger
September 1, 200718 yr I am level 106 combat and I give this update 80/100. I think Jagex did an awesome job by adding the high level bosses, some which have to be killed using a team. I think the graphics and gameplay of it are immense, I don't think there was a single bug or glitch. I was a bit disappointed about the dragon boots though. A new dragon item is supposed to be something big, but I feel it was overlooked by the sheer volume of the update. I think the graphics of the boots in the inventory was awful as well. :P
September 1, 200718 yr 100/100 lol i love the new dungeon, spent all day getting dragon boots for all my friends \ 118 combat btw Racist Mod (may or may not have been taken out of context)Figuring out what to put in my signature just takes too much work.If your still reading this, your a noob.lol
September 1, 200718 yr 80/100 reasons why it doesnt get a perfect score: -people have found bugs to exploit the bandos boss monster already. -Theyres isnt any new unique low level slayer monsters for the like of the mid range player. The high levels get a new slayer monster and i know that this dungeon is geared towards the higher levels but they could have thrown in a few new slayer monsters for the likes of me who can get into the dungeon and roam around and such but cant take on the boss monsters unless in a large group.I keep going their getting gunned down whenever i enter that dungeon and what for?nothing really just exploration and after a while the novelty will wear off. -some of the requirements to enter the boss monsters lair are ridiculous.you can kill 40 imps to enter the zammy one yet to get into the armadyll one you need to kill 40 of the level 120+ flying birds meaning that trips into that boss's domain are few and far bbetween. A way i would have improved it is a lot like the implings scroll to get the net, their would be a plaque near the door which would say something like"kill a 10 bloodveld,10 spiritual warriors and 10 spiritual rangers before entering my domain"Maybe this is why we havent seen the sara sword yet or took this long for a full set of armadyll armour to have been gathered. -The effects of using protection prayer should be dealt with more harshly or just drain all prayer once entering the boss areas.Jagex says that over using prayer would lead to bad circumstances but im still seeing 20 or so people camping out at bandos praying range and just clobbering it with no skill or tactics. -A steam staff as a treat for mages is a little unfair.not that mages didnt destroy the combat triangl with ancient magics but they could do with something more worthwile. as you can see theyres not much i find wrong with it but its still a fantastic update.ill not list the good since it pretty obvious but thats what i thought about it. hmm i have to disagree on some parts there, mainly due to the fact you say that there's hardly anything for the mid-player, i'm gonna have to say that it was about time for jagex to give us high levels something, for the last 2 years it's been small quests with pathetic rewards and weekly updates to satisfy the nubs that want them every week. finally they've come out with things for high levels to do before going insane with the nub quests and low level updates. also, i'd have to give it a 90/100 based on the fact that it was a huge update, people love it, the rewards are awesome, and it kept me entertained. the reason it doesn't get a perfect score is because i would have thought there would be monsters that could also drop shards/godswords/the new armour etc. but at a very low drop rate, whereby you'd still have a chance at getting the incredible loot, it would just take much longer, as i don't plan on fighting any of the bosses after seeing them hit people for 57s O_o there's my 2 cents :-w
September 1, 200718 yr 95/100 best opdate for 100+(im 96) My private chat is always ON.Winner of The Tip.It Teamcape Outfit Contest!6 years. 1 dragon CS drop and some barrows, bad luck?
September 1, 200718 yr 95/100 im lv 126 best update for a while. Mr Tyrer lv 126 dont play much anymore QUACK! QUACK!
September 1, 200718 yr Level 105, I give it 85/100. It's pretty good, but it's very complicated and there are some things I don't like about it. In Soviet Russia, glass eats OTers. Alansson Alansson, woo woo woo! Pink owns yes, just like you!GOOOOOOOOOO ALAN! WOO!
September 1, 200718 yr 95/100 I loved this update plenty of new things to do and it's the "high" level update everyone has been asking for. [blingkachi50]
September 1, 200718 yr 96/100 combat level: 97 "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
September 1, 200718 yr 90/100 Level 105 Combat I think the dungeon's bosses are sometimes a bit too much, I mean even if you get a drop you gotta share it with your team which is probably a team of 5 making you end up with only about 6m for risking so much and wasting an upwards of 150k+ a trip...I mean kq is even better than this bull sometimes. And the fact that you need to kill 40 monsters before you can even face the boss is very much overkill, pretty much you need to be a high-level jerk and take the item or it's not worth it......if only the prices were even higher then it might be worth it. The bandos plate is only 30m or so...5 ways thats 6m per person, you can duo at kq for much less risk and get like 6m-7m per player. And don't get me started about the usual drops the bosses have for a 500+...they are a JOKE!!
September 1, 200718 yr I would post and give it a score but im too tied up in my net to 99 fishing to head over there, to me it sounds a bit overrrated, but who knows, I mean with the new cross bows and everything there are not really any boss monsters any more, just high level monsters that you need a huge group of people to get to. Rofl. My chair has a fridge, a cooler, a toilet, a shower, and a barbecue bulit in.Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage
September 1, 200718 yr 65/100. Tbh i think the bosses are easy as with a 5 person team you can get easy amounts of kills (bandos\zammy). Also with the unusual drop rate of dragon boots making it almost as easy as getting rune boots. Overall I thought the dungeon would be bigger, and more cool hidden features.
September 1, 200718 yr 95/100, combat 101. [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying.
September 1, 200718 yr 98/100, Combat 118. There's a ton of things that could have happened with the GWD, but since my expectations aren't what really happened, I'll go off of what I saw. 1. The areas in which you fight all monsters and their respective chambers are fantastic. I feel that Jagex did a very good job on adding as much variety to the NPCs in the cavern. The loot is surprisingly incredible from anything lower than 140 Combat, but that's covered in my second point. 2. The loot is fantastic. Even Dragon boots can be pilfered to make a quick 6-800K. This helps if I ever need the cash. Fighting Aviansie all day yesterday (and the bosses) made me realize that they drop Adamant Bars very often. This helps a ton if I ever need to make more bolts, or swap for bolts, or anything of that matter. Even with just a regular bow (read: Dark Bow), I could sit back all day if I needed to and have a decent cache of Adamant bars to tackle the boss with. 3. The bosses are absolutely the best part of this game. Ever. I don't think I've been as charged to work side-by-side with total strangers before -- not even when the Kalphite Queen came out; not even when the Chaos Elemental showed up. Through a little work and determination, I've found some like-minded 'Scapers that tackle Armadyl's Eyrie frequently (and some have been very lucky at it). Even if we don't share the loot, who cares? All that matters [to me] is that we have a great time slaying the bosses and their Guardians. Now, we just need to get over our premature fear of that Icyene and take her on...but she puts on the hurt with many a brave fool...
