Combat level 102.

Godsword: 1/100, Another item for the rich to have an advantage over poorer, more skilled players. This is also a luck drop.

Bandos armor: 40/100 Great armour, but needs to be more accessable and why is is another luck drop?

Dragon boots: 15/100 Woohoo, just after dark bow the high level slayers get another chance to make some very quick money on the first day. They are too red and need more black imo and oh wait, ANOTHER luck drop.

Armadyl armor: 50/100 Great, Jagex are finally starting to fix the combat triangle - they just forgot about giving a negative strength bonus. Would be a good ranged armour, just too inaccessable for the average ranger... AND WHAT? ANOTHER LUCK DROP?

Steam staff: 10/100 I like the concept, but it is too expensive and inaccessible for what it does, it looks too much like a 1.5k air staff and ZOMG, ANOTHER LUCK DROP?!?!?!

Dungeon: 40/100 Great graphics, i just wish it was more layed out and balanced.

it would have been nice to seen a mage update other than a water/air staff. unless you train with lunars or teleport to falador a lot i dont see the use.

The Steam Staff is a Water~Fire combination not Water~Air = Mist. Anyway, the Steam Staff is good for a couple of Lunar Spells at least. ::'

And to anyone posting future ratings - please try and leave your combat level..

10/100. Combat level 67. Where're all the updates for mid leveled players, hey? I'm never going to use it in the near future, and 80% of the monsters would totally pwn me. I hate it. Plus it messes up the economy with all the new items, therefore messing up my merchanting.

1) Because there just isn't much for anyone 110+ to do there.

2) Because I lost my torso there :( :x

Kaizoku

Armor sets? New weapons? New bosses?

Sounds like a 100/100

121 combat, Kinda easy from what i have tried. Really fun, profitable, and it doesnt take long.

They did what i always wanted to happen, there be an actual war going on while your there. Monsters fighting eachother, imps vs goblins, bloodveld vs Goraks

The only downside that I can see to this update is the kill count required to enter the boss rooms. For some of them this isn't much much of a problem. However getting 40 Armadyl kills is a real pain in the [wagon]. Also I feel that mages should've gotten more than just the steam staff after melee got Bandos armour and the Godsword while rangers got Armadyl range armour.

It's the exact update all the high leveled players are looking for. For me, it's a way to meet some new friends at the bosses, and make lots of money in the process (made over 20m from that dungeon, even with splitting with 4-5 people).

I like how you have to get a kill count before you can go into the boss room, and you can't teleport out otherwise it resets. If you didn't need a kill count, or it would just add up, the boss rooms would be flooded with tons of people driving down the prices of the drops alot faster than they have.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that dragon boots were made with too low a level of slayer requirement. In my opinion the level should be around 92-93, thus making them a lot harder to get, much like most other dragon items, and keeping the prices high (the current price of 900k is way too cheap for a newly released dragon drop).

Overall, one of the best updates in a long time, and I'm very impressed with it.

you have to be kidding, mid levels get an update pretty much every single week

I haven't been in the dungeon but i must say the Godsword is WAY to over powered just for picture i saw so if any pure got there hands on it they could who be too happy... its a horrible let down so 0/100 for the god sword...

being a 'low-level'' [cb 72] i will give it a 95/100

1. awesome graphics

2. cool new stuff

3. awesome monsters

4. insanely hard

gotta love how people are complaining about high levels getting updates when we very rarely get updates? I laugh at the kid who is complaining about the drops being luck drops wtf does he expect does he think oh if you kill 20 you get a drop? how can you expect anything other than luck drops these drops should be rare and hard to get.

92/100, I'm combat 102. The reason I didn't rate it higher, is that it's actually already possible to solo the boss's, and the new Dragon Boots are ugly as sin.

But it's in the 90's because it got me 29m from the Bandos Plate drop I got :D

@Jordanweb - That's kind of a moronic post. "Luck drop, luck drop.. LUCK DROP" is all your really saying there. What do you expect, that every single monster you kill to give you a guaranteed chance at becoming rich? That everyone should have the best possible gear by spending little to no time there at all? Sheesh.

I get the vibe your really just mad because you cannot take advantage of this update.. :|

@bean824 - Idiot. Seriously. Low-Mid level players get updates ALL the bloody time. We (Higher level players) get it once in a blue moon. It's unfair that you really get weekly updates, and us 'yearly'. Another person that complains because he cannot take advantage (nor does he seem to want to) of the new update, and only hates is because it 'screws with the economy'.

Anywho..

I'm level 123, and although I haven't personally become involved in this update yet. I found it awesome to read about others adventures into there and the new weapons/armours involved.

Combat Level: 116

Well for me personally, I think it was a great update and 85/100 would be a pretty good estimation rating for me.

The good things about this update is that it offers a whole new level of gameplay experience, combat and minigame wise for the players. It offers an array of things to do, Slayer, Combat Training, Team-based Killing Trips and the Boss Minigame.

I won't mention anything regarding the drop rates since well, Luck factor makes the game unpredictable and all the more engaging. It would be very boring if you knew you'll get an item every specific number of kills.

The monsters introduced fits with the Gods' various themes, although more monster variety could be added to make the place feel much more diverse and at "war". Monsters praising their respective Lords could have added a whole new dimensional experience and spice up the Dungeon.

In any case, as much fun as the Dungeon is, it could have been bigger and more intricate but then again, lagging in there will just spell doom for the players.

Also, more things can be added, perhaps a mini-game sort of duel in the middle whereby players from their respective factions can battle in a safe PvP for kills while the monsters cheers on.

Regarding the Boss, kudos to Jagex for an overwhelming sense of awe inspiring greatness to them. Sure they don't make your screen shake when they march or have additional graphics-defying moment where they grab you, but it's still good since they do cower you and fight together.

Since I have only tried the Zamorak Boss, I think the Boss is balanced out [Plus it comes with 3 upsized sidekicks], especially for team-based, it promotes the Combat Skill, bringing people out from their Fletching or Skilling routine and creates something to aspire for.

But anyways, regarding the boss, the battle is intense and it calls for a strategy and once you've experienced it, the GWD truly becomes a place where you want to be in most of the time.

All in all, definitely good updates from Jagex. Promoting more activity and poses a challenging time for many players.
