Well this thread is about horrible decisions that you have made that have affected your rs career greatly.

 

 

 

Well when I first started playing rs, I found a guy who was buying all iron ore for 40gp each. It sounded like an awesome deal at the time so I told him I can be his perm seller. I mined and sold to him maybe 10k+ for him by the time I found out that iron ore goes for 90-100gp each. Horrible decision on my part for not price checking at the time.

 

 

 

What is your worst decision ever made?

Hmm this is a hard one. But i would have to say it would be: selling my mask. :cry:

nothing really affected me, the worst thing that probably happened was playing this game in the first place. my grades would have been a bit higher but atleast im having fun. O:)

I would say giving all my stuff to my cousin when i took a break from rsc ( with like 20+santas, 4 sets of halloween masks, and 2 party hats) then came back to rs2 to realize he sold them all for practically nothin #-o

Buying Full Zammy(3.1M) Instead of a santa(2M) back in 2005 i never knew they'd be so high now.

i know ur not suppose to say names, but both of these ppl dont play no more anyways so..

 

 

 

mistake 1 was lettin grand slayer try on my full guthix and green p hat outfit, back when greens were worth 9mil.. had known since rsc and he logged off with it

 

 

 

mistake 2 was a year and a half later.. i let im big0 wear my purple the day after i poured all my cash from my 30+ whips at the time into a hat, and low n behold he stole as well after knowing each other for years.

Getting P2P (haha), probably thinking that stakers actually would be honourable after they had won 20mil off me..x-logging nubs >.

Deciding to go to wildy with full rune a scimy + 2-hander, a rune kite (h2)

 

With no hope in hell of re-affording them, I brought tele's but I forgot to use them #-o

I quit Runescape about a year and half ago, and when I did I gave away over 16m in stuff. Then I came back about a month ago....and lost everything, like abyssal whip (was about 3m or 4m at the time), dragon square (3.5m at the time), full karil's, full torag's, full ahrim's, 2m cash, various other things.

 

 

 

 

 

So I came back with basically nothing but a Rune Full Helm and a Magic ShortBow.

Buying full guthix instead of a mask set :-k

Training my prayer on 34. It would be a lot better to stake, if I had prayer level 1.

Thinking cooked meat would save me from Elvarg when I was a noob. :)

having the money to buy 99 mage via alchs and not going for it #-o

dropping almost everything when i almost quit, then wondering why i didnt have anything left when i came back :boohoo:

Gave my santas for my friends who started to play runescape again :|. (too bad they sold them for like 1m, and quited soon after) I'd have use for these 5 santas now :( .

I had a mask set before I took a break a while back.

 

 

 

Sold it for 1 mil. Should've kept it.

 

 

 

I also had 5 santas. They cost about 200k ea. back then. I gave them away instead of keeping them

Nothing's really affected my career, though selling the Ranger Boots that I'd obtained from a recent Treasure Trail for only 950k was a big mistake. Next week the street price had been boosted to about 3.3M or so. #-o

The third time I quit (just after the RSC RS2 switch) I gave away 17m to a random person I found walking around in ftp, only to come back with nothing 8 months later. :boohoo:

I made such a profit two years ago when I sold my Santas for 400k each. Now I am crying myself to sleep.

Started playing rs.

When phats came out I dropped about 5 sets because they had no value... :oops: :cry:

 

 

 

I couldve been a bilionare!!! :wall:

I was pkilling with my clan, and they convinced to to go wearing my only set of full rune(I was poor at the time), instead of monk robes so we would all be the same. :oops:

 

Lo and behold, we ran into a mage pures clan around 30 wildy, and them being too high leveled considering my combat level and that of the mages, I nearly lost my only set of full rune(was skulled) that I worked so hard for. :ohnoes:

 

Through some miracle, I escaped with 3hp! :uhh:

Not telling my friend that the 1M he gets from that pure for helping him with quests will get him banned :cry: Miss ya buddy :|

 

 

 

But I didn't know :-k

10+ defense on what is now my "main" and now has 71 defense. :|

haha i did almost the same. For me it was tradeing my red mask for full guthix #-o
