Thanks for posting this lol, I'm bored of hearing people saying that the blood alter is coming out, and you'e stopped me worrying about the mass of rants there would be when it turns out just to be something that helps people runecraft the old runes.

Hopefully this will stop people making "Zomg Blood Altar Coming Soon" Threads....

What it probably ends up being is it makes a random rune for each essence used (they did say it would be unpredictable). That's all the more I can think of regarding what they said about it.

As it is I was hoping it would be blood runes, made sense. But hey it'd be nice to see a new update to rc.

 

 

 

We'll see I'm pretty sure we won't have too long to wait before it comes out anyways. It's a shame that they already know they might get flames and rants for their hard-work.

Oh I am slightly disappointed but I am mid level rc'er so I wouldn't have been able to use blood altar anyway.

 

 

 

I will just keep my fingers crossed that this will be a cool update.

Don't get me wrong the next months runecrafting update is a good update and I think it will have a good appeal to players across a variety of levels, (It will be more powerful at high levels) but if people get the wrong idea about an update then our hard work tends to gets flamed unnecessarily, when things don't turn out as players expected.

They've been implying that ever since rcing was relised and you used to get the level up messages at 77 and 91... Oh and the portals being in the abyss.. So not like they've ever hinted at it before eh?

I was thinking that too, it seems no one really uses the combo runes, as they are difficult to craft, so maybe this makes it simpler. IE-not having to use a talisman every time.

I see the possibility that you can bring any talisman in it and then you have a chance to get 0 runes made or maybe up to 3x as much as you brought ess. I also think that more rc levels you have the better chance for that 3x craft to happen : That would be nice.

Runecrafting has to be the most frustrating action to repetitively perform in my experience. It is awesome that they are spicing it up. I was planning on seldom runecrafting for a long time. I hope this can influence me to start again. Honestly, I was expecting a blood atlar until I read that its just another means of runecrafting.

I believe it will give random runes in quantities proportionate to your runecrafting level.

Sounds like a great update, but my membership will probably end by the time it's released.
