Deiophobus
I can often find a mature conversation, I don't think it's that rare. But I've been runecrafting for the past months, and runecrafters generally have more patience. Not all of them, but it's a factor. So they tend to be more mature then your average player. BlackDawn
good luck on runecrafting and on topic i stand by what i said not long ago i checked alot of places...i found no mature conversations at all outside colony That's why you're on the TZDF blackdawn. Agent7771
I can normally find a decent mature conversation without "kids" interupting. What i tend to do is talk to everyone in what your doing, if it's rc'ing, farming, cooking, fishing, wc'ing ect... That way, just by exchanging a few sentences with them you can tell if der gonna b a lil 10 yr old kid, or a more mature person who doesn't beg or bother you. I'd have to admit that the majority of high levels (90+) are mature; compared to most level 90-. Approximately, 41% of people playing runescape are mature, so it can't be that hard to find them, just look around carefully. If you ever need a decent coversation, feel free to PM me ingame. - Agent

leeves
Just talk via Clan chat or Pm with Mature Friends :) But for people like me, trying to meet a mature player(s) to talk to is becoming hard... i recently got my account back after having it stolen for 18 months and there where non of my original friends left on the account... So how am i suposed to meet people to be friends with who show the maturity level im looking for? Luckily i managed to find a few so far. 1 from tip.it and one friend who i met in game and both seem nice and very mature and im able to have a decent convo with them. -ejd -ps- If anybody with a mature attitude wants a new friend pm me here or add me in game rsn= ejd

Ginger_Warrior
Smoking 15 times a day? I'm amazed he isn't either dead or a schizophrenic. Or maybe he's just chatting bubbles... Rogues' Den I've found it actually quite a mature place. I actually had a debate about globalisation with a load of people there when I was going for 99 cooking. There were other mature conversations (most of which Jagex would probably disapprove of anyway) we had, so to say Rogues' Den is a place for immature people is a bit harsh TBH. I go on clan chat, while listening to music, or talking on MSN, or tuning into Radio 1 with Zane Lowe. Basically, I just take myself away from the in-game chat system. Solves the problem most of the time. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
gg_kk90
well from my experience cutting at willows at draynor. when its crowded its almost like a kiddy park. somewhat like these guy: wc levels? guy1: 45 guy2:32 guy3:71 me: 80 guy: omg noobs lol 83 here me: -_- guy1: im not a noob guy2: noob wanna fight? guy 1 and guy started throwing at words at each other. but never fought in wild. and when there are few people like 3-4 i get more matured conversations. like talking about music, school, fashion, tv etc. well its not about the amount of people in an area tho just my experience. in f2p more place to hang out is go to a crowded world in varrock center or in lumbridge. lots of people to talk to. mature or immature. they are there
Jabuli
Mature conversations? In my runescape? It's more likely than you think! No wait it isn't. Fact: 60% of the people who have posted in this thread are immature kids who just think that they're mature, and when they see mature ppl they start to chat with them thinking that they're having a mature conversation. qeltar
I have no problem finding people to have mature conversations with. In fact, all of my conversations are with mature people, because the immature ones go on the ignore list. Easy, huh? Pret
There is only one person who I can have a very mature conversation with. Dragonlordjl
I've gotten to the point where most of my conversations are in Clan Chat, Teamspeak, or in PMs. I rarely ever have detailed conversations with people in Public Chat, because you never know when there will be a level 40 just itching to slap the Report Abuse button. Besides, 80% of the people I encounter say one of the following: "wut pl8 is dat? wut sord is dat? how u got? weres god wars? can i hav 1m plzzzz"

Mr_Adam
people mature eventually. I'm pretty sure that many of those kids who have immature and pointless, stupid conversations will get over it soon enough. I have those days all the time, when I'm feeling serious and wise and like I could solve any therapy problem in the world lol. I don't like how some people assume that being <14 = immaturity. I'm 13 and fine myself plenty mature to enjoy a conversation with someone
syal_antilli
I have never tried p2p, so i have no idea how the covos are there. But one thing i do know is that even though I'm 18, I still have moments where i tend tend to say things that may be looked down on as "immature". And i do believe everyone has those moments, and the aspect of maturity is really the ability to keep those in check, and having the sense to think over what you are saying and if society as a whole would look upon what you have spouted as a genuine worthwhile expression of words. That is all. I require hugs. Seriously, just give them to me, and youll see your little turtle again.
Rsdude099
Im 13, and I have basic grammer principles, as well as spelling. Not all 12-13 year olds are like that. Pretty much done with rs now

Napalm
I've been playing runescape for about 3 years and a half, started playing when i was 11-12, now I'm 15 and I admit that RS right now it's just SO full of immature people, that I haven't had a real conversation for like a year. Yesterday I was woodcutting and two lvl 3 guys just pop out of nowhere and start insulting people arround :shame: (I reported their main accounts, who were there woodcutting too)... RS is crowded with immature people... :notalk:

And I agree with the next post as well. Thirteen year olds that actually use proper grammar, spelling, etc. are seriously outnumbered in RS. But RS isn't the only game that has this. That is a pretty common trait in any game.
