bem26 Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 If you honestly believe its DDOS then next time it happens open run and enter "netstat" if you see a bunch of crap you don't recognize it might be DDOS, I don't understand the DDOS at random though, they definitely need your ip for that and you should experience some insane lag as they proceed to own your bandwidth, and to unspamify. So I have a feeling if this DDos is actually true then either it's a team, or your internet just sucks. I think option two is more probable. \ Also on that matter though, I've done DDos attacks on other computers, (Not RS players, but just some [puncture]s who were my testing dummies) and most often you need more than one computer to commit a DDos attack on the same I.P for it to actually make an effect. My internet sucks? I host 3 teamspeak servers, I've had 47 people on 1 teamspeak at once and still not lagged, and also... That doesn't suck I don't think... And I have logs on my ts servers so it wasn't that. Random unspam EDIT: Their channel got banned for DDoS advertising. They made a new one already though.
