The special can do a lot of damage but will often hit 0 on armour(full veracs was tested, 80 def, piety). Can be a useful k0 tool but only if you know what you are doing. Also good for the scare factor I guess. One fairly good hit: No, They are really good. I Have tested them on Around 40 ppl. lvl 80 - 136. Without any Spec with more than one 0.
