CampbellMC
I don't plan on doing the new quest, but for the new hover box I do not see why it gives the level, you can see that without hovering. It would make the box smaller and cleaner looking.

(In Uzer) True, the Dye is made in the same way as in this quest, however, you do NOT need to go into the desert for it. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. atronic92
Any ideas why Jagex chose to use commas to separate the xp instead of periods (full stops)? IIRC periods are used in the UK (or maybe only England) where Jagex is based. Does anyone have thoughts on the issue? "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. thingummywut
Think there's a way to open the box yet? or just something to annoy people? I bet it's just a way to leave the story open for yet another sequel. [hide=Just my view on one of the puzzles, click to reveal] I enjoyed the last puzzle in the quest. It was so fun when these RS kids couldn't figure out that circle's area is pi*rÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâò, and when you increase r it goes up squared. (I.e. make r 3 times bigger -> area comes 9 times bigger.) This is very high mathematics in RS :) [/hide]

Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. I live in england and in the 10 or so years ive done mathematics ive never seen anyone use full stops to seperate numbers instead of commas. I'll agree with that. Ive lived in England for my entire life, and am finishing a PhD in Physics, and I have never seen anyone use full stops to separate numbers. Given that full stops are effectively a decimal point, that would be incredibly confusing. Look forward to doing the quest, even if it is just to get back my cape. Nice update with the assist, good to hear that they listen to players. Although, who would really stand there while someone else gets a full inv of sharks? TeeBeaun
Where do you find the Whitefish? You need to bait fish slimy eels, i did it in the south west corner of limbridge swamp cave, but you can also catch them in the cave near fishing guild i think. You then take the slimy eel and go into the fishing area where the fishing contest was. To get back in you first have to talk to the dye lady in dranyor village and ask her about white dye, then you can talk to the guy at the gate to the fishing contst, he will let you in if you ask him about white fish. Then just go in and bait fish with a slimy eel, you will get a whitefish. Bring that and get your goblin mail color removed. This quest had far to much work involved to get the dye, in contrast to its rewards.

I dont even remember what the reward was now :ohnoes: I just did it for fun... Then spent an hour trying to unlock that box lol. I know its hopeless but i still tried to. Even used nytroglycerin on it \ Stupid non-opening bandos box I wanna know whats inside!!!! Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever. the_korny
I think the right-justification of the skill xp should be the best update of the year I've never seen Sixth Sense nor Inception nor many other popular movies and I intend to keep it that way. Aneron
I like this new updates :). It's good to see that Jagex listens to the players. The new quest seems intresting, and I will probalby do it later on, when I have gotten the requirments for it. But the best of the updates I think is the xp one. Great that you're now able to see how much xp you have left to the next level! And you don't even need to click on the skill icon. Perfect for a lazy guy like me :P This is how it looks like; Great updates Jagex! Thanks! how helpful, it even tells you what level your skill is
szww
Commas are the only punctuation used to space out numbers. Some parts of continental Europe actually do use full stops in place of commas and commas in place of full stops for numbers... I would add that most of European countries use fullstops for separate digits, and coma to mark decimal part - except UK ;) like most countries use e.g. "km" not "miles" and drive right side of road instead of left ;)
