You need to be a pretty high level to get onto the highscores these days, and since players keep gaining levels, in the future you're going to have to be like level 90 str to get onto them, or like 90 wc. Do you think Jagex will somehow remake the highscores once it gets to this point?

There used to be only the top 500,000 players in the hiscores. as more and more players joined, they raised it. they'll probably just keep rasing the amount of people in them.(1,500,000 2,000,000 etc..)

Yes they will, but not soon in my opinion. They want the highscores to be at least a bit challenging to get into, and thus keep players playing.

Its sad that its come to this, but the game is so crowded now it truly is getting that difficult to break into the 1,000,000 rank for some skills.

IMO there should be a highscores table and a lookup facility. My strength is ranked outside of the top 1,000,000 but I think that people should be able to lookup other players' stats. The highscores should be the top 50k-100k people :o

Maybe then it'll be the "high" scores not just the "pretty easy to get not so high scores.

 

 

 

On a more serious note they'll probably, like some people said, raise the limit to 2 million people or something.

What about those level 3 autoers that got to the front page high scores of one skill before anyone else noticed?

Given that the top 500k players are listed on each skill, I don't think Jagex will ever need to adjust the highscores in the manner which you described.

i think they should have a limited high scores list, but also have the option to look up players levels on the high scores

 

 

 

its not fair when i go pking on my accounts i make for pking sometimes and i cant look up what the other players stats are. i know hes as blind as me, but if we were both 50 lvls higher, then niether of us would complain

It's already a joke to get into highscores, except for the stats which bots seem to dominate (wc, mining, etc).

It could happen, but by the time it does, rs3 will have been made or rs will be made obselete. The high scores filling up,in a way, would take like ten years.

The highscores are to show the top players in each skill and overall. So i dont believe it will probably even get to that point but if it does, Jagex might only do something very little to the highscores. Its for the tops ranking players and at 500,000 thats alot of players to manage.
