November 26, 200718 yr Maybe people will be offering rares to get the value of rares up. To the grand exchange! I'm in school right now and with my luck rares will have rised to 12 mil by the time I get home. Ponies!
November 26, 200718 yr a pic, i'll add more so... coool.... :ohnoes: dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.
November 26, 200718 yr I LOVE this update, its everything I could ever of wanted and more! :) 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
November 26, 200718 yr How do we see what other people are buying or selling? The ULTIMATE Runescape weapon
November 26, 200718 yr AHHHHH DOOM DAY IS UPON US!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ohnoes: look nice :) My private chat is always ON.Winner of The Tip.It Teamcape Outfit Contest!6 years. 1 dragon CS drop and some barrows, bad luck?
November 26, 200718 yr How the trade works: The different prices: 99 ranged | 99 magic | 99 defence | 99 hitpointsRemember, it's just a gameFeel free to add me on RS. :) Always ready for a chat.
November 26, 200718 yr Then how a new item will be valued? a new slayer or dragon weapon/armour, items for summoning ... jagex will predefine prices? blah! +-5% is too tight for my taste.
November 26, 200718 yr Is it still possible to trade normally? sorry if its in the kb or posted on the site but i cant get on runescape.com at work :?
November 26, 200718 yr This will create a stable economy that cannot be abused by players who seek to manipulate prices to the disadvantage of others. That's why I used to hate merchanter. Good update :)
November 26, 200718 yr Looks interesting, though like fook said, there will be whining eventually... -.- On a sidenote: Incase someone missed it, here is something from the kb. The interesting part is the last sentence. Does the market value affect an item's alchemy value? No. The alchemy value of an item has a separate, static value and is unaffected by trading at the Grand Exchange. Equally, the value of items that you keep on death is calculated using the alchemy value rather than the market value.
November 26, 200718 yr Ive already sold alot of random seeds i had. Two things #1 if you have say 785 magic logs someone will have to buy that exact amount to get it off you? and also #2 it keeps saying my offers are updated then i check and they have not been :|
November 26, 200718 yr Forcing people into trading ranges eliminates many abuses. It also will make the market rather slow to adjust at first.... Not only that, but you cannot buy/sell the same item again immediately, you need to wait a small period. It doesn't say how long though... Seems pretty well thought, but let's wait and see... 103 combat | 1M+ xp in each skill (lvl73) | 1800+ skill total | quest capeLevel 86 herblore, 85 farming
November 26, 200718 yr couldn't you just search for offer of the item you are interested in? for example you want that air staff. could you see what offers are there for air staff? or you have to make buying offer? what if I say I buy staff for 1300 and there is a sell offer for 1100? I cannot check those things at work, but i am curious :)
November 26, 200718 yr Offers stay in GE even while you are logged out \ Night everyone. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
November 26, 200718 yr This update is amazing got monks and diamond (e) bolt as soon as I was buying it rocks =D> Good job But as fook said all the whiny merchanters will rant about it.
November 26, 200718 yr Am I just missing it or is there no way to just browse what is being offered for sale without putting in a buy offer? November 26, 200718 yr so far, no complaints... This update actually makes merchanting easier(to the extent that it is foreveryone easier...) the problem is, it's only 5 percent, which at low number(such as raw materials) leaves very little room for price difference... Almost everyone will sell for the highest and buy for the lowest...which could be a problem.
