Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork

I updated a little, nothing big. However....

Am I done updating this guide? There is very little I can work on now... The things that come to mind is Summoning in PvP...

I think I'm almost done except for a few grammatical and spelling errors, and a couple niggles in my guide. Obviously there is much more I can work on, so can anybody point some out? Besides new monsters I can add.

Perhaps you could finish all the old monsters you were going to test/finish? soldiers, dags, and rock lobs all are ready for it

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

You say waterfiends now make you monies?

Well, it's definetely enough to break even. If you have decent combat stats, then yes, you will make money. It always has.

Sorry I took a good sized break from RS so I wasn't aware of drop changes, which is why I asked. I'm all 86's with 70 prayer.

I've already said it but good guide.

11th: Spirit kyatt (57, 93 Combat)

Max: 10, with special affect

Hp: 268

Xp: Attack

Time: 49

Size: Medium

Notes: These are the lowest level fighter familiars that you should use. Anything under isn't worth the hassle. These are weaker than the Karamthuhlu overlord, but their first hit is tripled, making its max 30. So for a low hp monster, use these. For monsters with high hp, use the Karamthuhlu.

No, they hit 10 without the special and 30 with it.

Maybe my grammer is confusing/incorrect... I mean it hits 10 but it also has a special effect :XD:

PHEONIX INFORMATION

[hide=PHEONIX]Today (1/06) the quest In Pyre need was released, along with the Familiar and Pet Pheonix...

The quest is quite easy, you can finish it in 3 minutes, without a guide. Go to Piscatoris and talk to Brain Twitcher; it's obvious what to do from there and there are no required you can't obtain from him.

I know most of you are curious about the Pet and Familiar, which both require 72 Summoning. After you finish the quest, you obtain 5 Pheonix quills which are the secondary ingredient for the Pheonix Familliar. You can get another 5 daily from doing the Diversions and distractions. It was quite easy for me, being level 133. I just wore Dragonhide and used Piety to get all the way through, and used Protect Magic and Piety on the Pheonix. It is definetely recommended to Protect Magic for lower levels, though.

You have a chance of obtaining the pet after you kill the Pheonix. After leaving the cave, you can get lost and find an egg patch. You can get a mean one by kicking an egg, or a nice one by clapping. (Whole paragraph needs confirmation. Most likely accurate.)

Facts on Pheonix:

Max hit: 13

HP: Pretty low... (Confirmation needed)

Attack Style: Magic

Accuracy: I'd say very high... it's hitting more than most familiars at it's level.

Right click: Ash-blast - Takes an ash to activate. It seems to do more

damage/hit more accurate, although there is no current facts I can draw.

Special: (12 points) It requires you to drop an ash, which means that you can't use it in places such as Duel arena, because you can't drop items.[/hide]

So... when are you going to use the word Phoenix?

Nice guide, may use it soon, and on Fruit bat you spelt it fruit bar.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Great guide. Has already been of use getting me to 50 something. Now, after months without training, it's time to get that Bunyip! :P

Cheers

Don't stop there! Get 69. regardless of what Kent says, it is the best healer in my honest opinion, and I'm currently level 80. best of bosses atleast, a bit of overkill for slayer.

So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

It really does give good HP recovery/minute, possibly enough to match up to the Unicorn. It really is time consuming and annoying to use especially at bosses...

I have quit Runescape (most likely for good)... Not sure where to say it so I'll stick it here. :ohnoes:
