A pinic can be pretty cool. Botanical Gardens are a great place to go, especially if they're big, and have lots of walking trails like the ones where I live.

Mini-golf is fantastic. Ice-skating works as well, and of course, picnics.

I'm a fan of dancing if you know how. And not club/rave loud music banging in your ears kind of dancing. I'm talking ballroom dancing. Waltz and swing are my personal favs. It may seem a bit strange or cliche, depending on your perspective, but try it once and see if you still see it that way after holding each other in your arms and staring into each other's eyes as you glide across the floor. Take time to talk and flirt on dance breaks (or even while dancing), and you have the perfect date. Just don't step on her toes. :razz:

I'd have to say for something at home Singstar, or other karaoke-style game if you don't have Singstar, can be pretty fun. As Intriguing said ice-skating is another good one, and also the only time I'll openly flirt with randoms.

Oh boy today was weird.

 

I had a girl who I knew only in tennis. She always be peppy and would challenge me to a 1 on 1, and always just wanted to play with me. Me like an idiot, I think this is just friendship but I never notice the little flirts. Well on to today, for the last 3 days there's been a storm going on. So instead of going to tennis we just merely stayed inside as our teacher played videos on tennis techniques. I decided to go outside and just ditch seeing as how coach wouldn't notice and I highly doubt he would care seeing as how I've been in tennis for 3 years. So I went outside and just stared at the sky until the bell rang to go home.

 

The girl, was coming back from the bathroom and saw me on the bridge, so instead of making a turn into the hallway she came up to me on the second floor bridge. We just merely talked about the semester ending in 2 days and she told me she is moving away as soon as the semester is ending. Later on she complain about how she was soo cold and I was so warm and she just decided to hug me. While she embraced me she went on to tell me how much she respected me, and how she is going to miss me. I couldn't tell if she was going to cry or if it was rain drops on her face. Then her cold hand met my wet hair, and she just merely kiss me. Me in shock just open my eyes wide and breath out heavily through my nose like a bull. She let go and laughed on how I sounded like a heifer, the bell rang and then she let go quickly and left for the classroom to get her stuff as the massive long line of students cross the bridge.

 

I gave chase in shock to ask her what was going on but then remembered that my backpack was behind the door of the bridge entrance, so I fight the traffic to get my backpack and quickly rush over with traffic towards coach's room ( I slipped and fell on the way). Only people there were freshmen asking coach about the backhand slice technique and she was not there.

 

I don't know how to react or feel but I know I'm not going to see her seeing as how were in finals and the only class, well only time I see her is in Tennis. Were in a block schedule so we have 3 classes a day 2 hours each, and 7 period tennis was today. I don't know how to feel or whats going on, I'm just addled right now. I don't know what to make of this.

dude, thats a win-lose siuation, but it also depends on how far she is moving. if shes moving like, 15 minutes away, not a big deal, but if she kissed you and looked all sad, its probably a farther place then you expect. you should do something about it man. but with me, long distance relationships dont work, they usually never work. amirite?

Just spending a few hours in a park seems like a good date to me. As long as it's nice out. And if it's windy, you know what to bring.

 

So anyway, this girl (still Olives) seems a little upset with me for some reason. I think I might know why though. Today one of my friends came back to school and I hadn't seen him in two months, so instead of talking to Olives, I was catching up with him. So it might be a jealousy thing (which is good for me). Or, maybe just a one-day thing. Or something completely different.

The reason that you supplied for it being good is a reason for it to be bad. I was thinking more along the lines of 20 20 cricket, 4 days in a row together is basically a flip of the coin whether it will go well or not. With short games you won't run out of things to say/do, and you give her the chance to miss you.

 

At cricket you can invent your own fun but there is still entertainment in dull points which makes it perfect. Heckle hecklers, have a peanut fight, bring a beach ball, start mexican waves, make bets about how many teeth the redneck in front of you is missing... The opportunities are endless.

I'm in drama at my school on light crew, and this month we've been rehearsing for a statewide drama competition. Lighting people haven't had to start coming to rehearsals until last friday though. At the rehearsal on Firday I noticed a couple new people in lighting but I didn't really pay them much mind. At the end of rehearsal, Amy (the girl I went to homecoming with that turned out to be a lesbian and is in charge of lighting) told me that I had to be at the rehearsal that was this monday (MLK day so normally no school).

 

When I got there on monday, there was only one other person from lighting there, a new girl named Stacey (well I had known her before from my English class but never really talked to her or anything) who apparently was the only other one Amy told to come. Naturally I started talking to her early in the rehearsal, and as friday was literally her first day on lighting, she didn't really know all that much about it, so I showed her stuff like where to find things in the light booth, how to run the boards, etc. She was nice enough, and after I finished showing her around the booth we ended up sitting next to each other and watching the rest of the rehearsal (we didn't really have much else to do without Amy being there). We talked for most of the rest of the four hour rehearsal. I mean we did other things in between as well, like went on a little adventure throughout the open music rooms and auditorium to find something for a pit keyboardist and going up to the catwalks for a little while. As she was leaving I got her number and texted her for a little bit later in the night.

 

I didn't really talk to her that much until today, when we had another drama rehearsal (very little opportunity in the one class we have together). Though we didn't really talk much before the rehearsal (i mean we obviously both have other friends xD), She stayed by me for most of the rehearsal today too. We talked a lot again, especially when we were both in the booth running spotlights without anyone else up there, and there are a lot of breaks where we could talk.

 

By now, I want to ask her to the Snowcoming dance . It's coming up on February 6, so basically if I want to take her I'm going to have to act probably tomorrow. Now, here are the possible IOIs, I don't really know if any of them are legitimate.

-She talked to me for most of the rehearsal today even though some of her best friends were also there.

-Snowcoming eventually came up in our conversation on monday (well I sort of led it there xD), and she mentioned that she didn't have anyone to go with and didn't know if she'd even be going even though she was on student council planning it.

-I think i caught her staring at me in the light booth

-Towards the end of the rehearsal, Amy assigned her to do a spotlight and me to run the board in the auditorium. After like a minute she came down and sat next to me and started talking to me.

-Other people's relationships and that kind of stuff has come up multiple times when we talked on both days

-She always seems to follow me around in the auditorium and when Amy gives group instructions she always stands kind of close next to me.

 

Reading over this it seems kind of pathetic, but basically, does it seem like she likes me going off that? Seeing as I waited so late to post this I probably won't get a response before tomorrow when I'll probably ask her, but I just want some opinions.
