Heleor
What else will there be in the runecrafting guild except the minigame? Why call it a guild if there's nothing else? I hope it's a fun minigame with mediocre or small rewards like vinesweeper and Brimhaven agility dungeon. PP or PC of runecrafting wouldn't hurt too much as long as there were no cash rewards. I would be furious if it was like the vinesweeper game. That game gives BARELY any experience and is a waste of time. Vinesweeper is 25k xp an hour at the higher farming levels. Lenticular_J
I hope the runecrafting guild doesn't have anything to make runecrafting easier. I think the ZMI Altar is enough. I'd hate it (the minigame) if it was the Plunder of Runecrafting. But it probably won't be, since it's multiplayer. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
XxTearGodxX
All I can say is I'm excited for more updates but can't believe they're putting a Runecrafting Guild into the game before a Woodcutting Guild.
Ixindor
Anyone notice the "Keep Items on Death" option in Clan Wars? If you can change it to Lose Items on Death, won't that open a HUGE door for RWT? I haven't been to Clan Wars in forever, but can't you play it on any server? Unlike BH, were you are limited to 3 servers? Also, isn't Clan Wars set up to where when you and an opposing clan enter a war, you are playing the game privately? I see this as big mistake on Jagex part. I hope they have a contingency plan in place.

Marco
The warning beacon lighting quest sound like it could be quite fun, and I guess it also hints at upcoming developments in the River Salve & Meiyerditch quests. I'm just hoping that this new Runecrafting Guild has high entry requirements and doesn't just house the mini-game. Hopefully it'll be as useful as the Mining/Fishing Guilds are, rather than another Prayer Guild.

Kevin_
I seriously hope the Rc requirement is atleast 80+, it's ridiclious how most of the guilds have like 60-70 reqs... Anyway it looks like an 'Ok' month, nothing more though. Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.
Armadyllo
Anyone notice the "Keep Items on Death" option in Clan Wars? If you can change it to Lose Items on Death, won't that open a HUGE door for RWT? Jagex had a big post about item lending and the clan wars thing on the RSOF Future Updates forum a couple of months back. They said something about how items would be lost on death... and no-one would get to pick them up. They didn't think they could make a reward or lootshare system that couldn't be abused by RWT. Doesn't sound like it's going to be a popular option, to be honest, but I've come across clan-fighters asking for that sort of thing before, so I guess the rest of us can just ignore the option and go play with the other settings. Sooooo many people say they've got the solution to RWT that'd let Jagex bring back PVP drops, or bring back the old Wildy, or bring back unrestricted trade. A lot of the more sensible ideas involve needing large numbers of players to be involved, in the hope that it'd swamp the RWT activity. Unfortunately, looking at the crowds of people in Bounty Hunter and the item transferring that happens there, I don't think it's working like that. bluehooloovo
Runecrafting guild, runecrafting minigame, and a firemaking update? I think my head might explode from sheer happiness. :D I just hope it's F2P. (And for anyone who is getting ready to launch into a 'you don't pay, you don't deserve updates' rant; please note that I didn't say Jagex should give F2P the updates - I would just be veryveryvery happy if they did.) blakdragon39
i hope rcing doesnt get made easy.. i like the speed its at now Yeah if Runecrafting becomes really easy? That would suck. I think it would ruin the skill and the respect that comes with it for everyone.

Toad
I hope its buyable pure essence, i just hope the minigame means is like vinesweeper like really slow farming xp.. runecrafting is good enough via the abyss i dont want to see 20k people with 91 who didnt earn it.. the nature prices are bad already.. without the pure essence taking away the fun

Gotcha  Just for some reason, I was thinking...no way they could be that dumb!!! So if you die and lose your items, they go to oblivion, limbo, your mom's house, etc. Sounds like fun to have some new maps to play on. And I'm looking forward to both the RC and FM updates. Now I have to decide which one I want to work on more (RC for Bloods or FM for cape? :ohnoes: ) Plus I have to decide if I want to continue Slayer...Man this month is going to suck when it comes to deciding what I want to do lol. Ts_Stormrage
To one of the posters above me: I dont think jagex is stupid enough to let RWT happen through clanwars by having bots die in masses for you... I think Lose Items on Death mans they're gone... permanently... Anywho, I dont think the Firemaking update will NOT take place in Varrock, but rather in the stretch between Paterdomus and the Chaos Temple just northwest of the Goblin Village... one thing this beacon lighting reminded me of was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuyGN1Rdqo0&fmt=18 <-- high quality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuyGN1Rdqo0 <--- plain quality the Great Orb Project sounds to me a somewhat less boring then "run click tele bank" standard runecrafting... Toad
the Great Orb Project sounds to me a somewhat less boring then "run click tele bank" standard runecrafting... Hope its fun :) something like dodgeball perhaps? Run click tele bank make money, compared to 50k xp per hour at a minigame meaning lets completely nerf rc, i'd settle for nature gloves as a reward and 1xp per point like at vinesweeper also i doubt Roham is going to come to our aid, but perhaps the white knight might do :)
Dragons_Might
I'm thinking the clan war update should be interesting. You can see in the top corner a winning option is to "x number of kills". Now you see 200 at the bottom, but a scroll bar next to it, one that looks like theres quite a few more options left... Could you imagine what the end is? I mean take 2 100 person clans and set it to something like 1000 kills (If there is a 1000 kill setting, most likely...), that would not only last long.. but be extremely fun.. just keep respawning and doing as much damage as possible before respawning again... =P~ =P~ =P~ the trick is to balance all of these methods to get 99 and either play real life or train another skill while farming. 635th to 99 Farming 12/16/

Dragonlordjl
Bleh, looks like a [garden tool]-hum month. Jagex has a terrible track record with mini-games. I am interested in the long-awaited sequel to Making History, but that's about it. I was hoping for something big, as it's the anniversary of GWD. Meh. At what level is it decent exp? For farming, it's very good experience. Sure, a tree can give 5-15k xp, but it takes hours to grow. Even if you grow the maximum amount of trees, there is still a limit to the XP you can get. But getting 25k additional xp per hour in farming is a great bonus if you want to train only farming.
