It is even quite easy, this basic editing, it just takes a lot of time.I second this. I mean, Movie Maker is to Legos what Primiere is to laying down real bricks. You're old enough to lay down bricks, it's not that hard, nor much of a change up. Screw scripts, get outlines. :wink: **Also, by avoiding Movie Maker you avoid those ugly ugly ugly text transitions/animations. Estonian dude Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Vegas ain't that good for regular clipping and simply putting a vid together. I've heard it is a lot more complicated than Premiere. And Premiere really is simple, I got started on it with no previous experience other than 2 movies on WMM and I didn't need to see any videos. And I'd say it is easier to use than WMM. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. Not sure if the reverse is me posting your early posts, or removing mine. I might do the first one, though probably not. Movie Maker has animations? Or by animations do we mean transitions. I've also never gotten the comic sans hate. I wouldn't even recognize it for what it is, it's just another in a sea of endless fonts. The only ones I can actually pick out are windings and monotype corsiva (which I am appalled to see my current version of word doesn't have). For super smash bros, I favor the original, but after that I would definitely take Brawl over Melee. I also dislike Double Dash compared to the N64 and Wii. This guy is a [bleep]ing genius. He is just 26 and one of those 2 songs is going to be performed on song festival next year. So that it will be heard and seen by half the country at least. He also played one of his earliest works on a piano live. He was 18 when he wrote it and good god, he is good. <- that is in fact that same song performed by our choir last May. A bit rubbish quality recording, but you get the hint. I am the tallest guy on stage, with that red bowtie btw. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. Spring break started last night, kicked it off with a 12 pack at a BYOB pizza joint that I was way under-dressed for. Made a camp fire and sat around it for a few hours talking about random stuff with my old neighborhood friends that have moved off. Ended up getting thrown out of her yard around midnight, went to ShopRite to pick up more booze and drank it on the way down the block (it's all kind of the same couple football fields worth of land). All thoroughly twisted at this point. The girl who's house we end up at starts getting real philosophical, so of course we all jump on board which inevitably breaks down into a weird group therapy session for all of us and all the secrets we kept from each other. I've been hooking up with the one girl on occasion for a while now, and she's talking me up like I'm awesome, which got all the other girls in the room real curious of my prowess. I ended up hooking up with the host girl (something I've tried to do for years) only to have the first girl say she got real jealous when I did it. Then it became this weird game almost where I'd hook up with one, and the other would get jealous and hook up with me. I got exhausted, and literally was so drunk and tired I had to turn down sex because I felt like I was just going to have a seizure. I ended up falling asleep in a literal pile of women though, so that was pleasant. And that's how I started my spring break. I have work in 7 hours, and I still don't have any motor function. It was quite a classy place. All the more reason I wish I'd gone with boxed appletini's again, but alas I can only break so many social norms at a time. One of the girls drinking with us wasn't of age, and no one cared so all in all it went good. Went to a movie (Safe Haven, was hilariously bad, though I guess I'm the only one that thought so), then spent all night trying to bake peanut butter pie. By the time I had everything together and ready to go in the oven, it was like 11:20, so I didn't get to have pie on pi day. :( But it came out really well when it was finally done, and the two girls I shared with both really enjoyed it. Then I realized that I need to get rid of this pie before I go home tomorrow for Spring Break, so I've been trying to pawn it off on other people, and a couple other girls I know came by to return my calculator, so I offered them pie. One took some, the other said she just wanted a bite from the first's piece. So she had the bite, and she was like, "Woah," and decided she needed a slice of pie too. It was hilarious because she was really adamant about not wanting any. The moral of the story is that pie makes all the ladies happy. We only got more advanced than berries/watermelon or ice cream on holidays or any other time we had company over. I'm not convinced I would have liked pie in any event, especially not any of the fruit pies. I hate warmed fruit, it's disgusting. Even chocolate fondue can't fix 'warm strawberry'.
