That negative attitude isn't going to get you anywhere. You complain when you never get invited to anything, and yet you still complain when you do get invited. Just go and have a good time, you shouldn't make it your first priority to try and find single girls.

I'll say it again.... There's still time before the party. You don't HAVE to be the only single person there. What is stopping you from going out some night before the party happens and looking for a single girl who you could invite to the party?

 

Being negative isn't going to help you. Girls like a guy who is confident. If you bury your nervousness/negativity deep down inside of you, approach a girl, introduce yourself and look her in the eyes/at least at her face the whole time you talk to her (looking at her face/eyes shows that you are both confident (not nervous over the thought of talking to a girl. When you're nervous around someone, you tend to look away more so than looking at them. Even if you are nervous around a girl, suck it up and look at her) and that you are interested in what she has to say. If you look all around while talking to her it will make it seem as if you have other things on your mind and don't really give a damn about her) then you should have a pretty decent chance of her wanting to see you again sometime. It doesn't even matter how you look, a girl will be with a mediocore-not good looking guy if he shows that he is confident and interested in her for more than just sex. I am a great example of this. I don't think I'm a great looking guy, not ugly by any means, but not exactly handsome either. When I met my girlfriend, who is gorgeous, I payed atention to what she had to say and confidence radiated off of me. She was instantly interested in me and gave me her number after just a few minutes of chatting with her.

Doubt it'll help you, but when I met my girlfriend I was so tired that I didn't show the nervousness I would have otherwise. I somehow started dating her without explicitly asking her out too. Yes, sleep deprivation landed me a beautiful girl.

 

 

Each day is inadvisable. When you go to the gym you tear the cells so that they rebuild stronger and in greater numbers. Going every day doesn't give them the time time to rebuild before you start tearing them again, which just [bleep]s your muscles up.

Im aware of this, but if I can at least force my body to get into routine it'll help.

Every day isn't doing yourself any favours. Just pick 3 days during the week (say Mon/Wed/Fri, Mon/Wed/Sat, Tues/Thurs/Sat) and force yourself. It'll still become routine rather quick and will help you a lot in the long run. Might even befriend someone who goes the same days as you and you can motivate each other. Those who are already your friends don't motivate you though, only distract you.

Adding on to what furah said, if you go to the gym every day, you'll just keep getting more and more tired, and feel like shit after every session, which won't motivate you to go back.

Adding to what obfuscator said, I personally hate the gym and instead run about 6 miles on Mons & Weds, then 3 miles on Fridays, and cycle 55-80 miles on Sundays. These are all far more fun ways of exercising, thus motivation is a lot easier.

Confidence is key, Tim. Confidence is key.

 

I'm a confident person, and great with people due to my line of work. Customer service at a restaurant really gives you great people skills. If you still haven't found a job yet, try food service!

I just got a hair cut, about 6 inches off. My hair is so short now, it feels weird to shake my head.

hates having to go into uni just to collect a few things. paper at 11 and another paper at 2.

Strange sort of day for me. Not one i'd like to experience again at all.

 

and Tim, remember, be confident, be cool. It's not hard - even if you think you can't, hold the idea in your mind. I did it for long enough, and now I actually believe it. YOU'RE AWESOME. So stop being sad and be awesome.

Also, I am so [bleep]ing tired. It was hot, clamy and this room has poor ventilation. Didn't fall asleep until 4.30 and was woken at 8am. Normally I dont need much sleep but jesus christ...

Getting married in 17 days!!!!!!!! I should be happy but I'm scared shitless mostly. I'm sure everything will go fine it's probably because I'm stressed. Just over 2 weeks to go and I still have to find a mobile hairdresser/make up artist, order a wedding cake.... Do you know how hard that is going to be to book on such short notice?? Arrrrrgh

What Jeff said. Just go and enjoy yourself and don't get hung up on trying to find a girl. Seriously, they can smell desperation. Just go and have a good time, a few drinks or whatever and chill out and get to know some new people.
