What's it like in the reserves?

To be honest, crap. they are so unbelievably dis-organized. I go in, they make you do an hour of exercise (Like, I can stand exercise but they try to basically break you BEFORE actual training) and 2-3 hours of lecture on stuff you neither have done or any relevance AND dont get me started on their lack of paperwork skills. I also got a phone call, my employer agency is trying to set me up with an interview with a trainee ship in warehousing. not the most glamorous job but hopefully enough to both move out and afford new things, if not mostly the new things.

Got an A on my English biography I wrote in the space of the two lessons before the class. So yeah, that's pretty awesome.

 

And performed my other English assessment, an alternate character interpretation of a Macbeth character. Cowardly Macduff yeeeeaaaaahhhh.

You mean like my chin? If i get this apprenticeship, I can leave army reserves. Which means no more size 2 haircuts and I can grow some grizzle around my jaw bone so I dont look 16 all the damn time, one of the Corporals even asked if I was a Cadet! <_<

When I was in 8th grade (14 years old), my history teacher made us write letters to ourselves. She said that she'd mail them back to us three years later. I just got mine back :lol: Not really as nostalgia-y as I thought it would be, but still a solid 8 on the nostalgia-o-meter. So, yeah... I remember feeling like I wrote a book or something when I finished it :P My handwriting has improved a lot... So... yeah...

We wrote letters like that when I was a Freshman and supposed to read it when we were Seniors. Half of them got lost though. <_<

 

Things like that are really brilliant. And if I wrote one the day after you wrote that, there would be a lot of remembering good ol' times. :mrgreen:

Lol, my cousin just farted (she sleeps on our floor) and I felt my bed shake with my sister's suppressed laughter. It is so hard to keep a straight face, especially with a laptop shining in your face.

Unfortunatley it's the hardest one, I've had the least time to prepare for it, it's worth the most and theoretically is the most important towards my degree.

I had a math test today. I don't think I did particularly well, but it wasn't terrible. I have room to take some hits I think though, I just want to manage a B.

 

In science we have our final tomorrow. We had a quiz yesterday that dropped my grade from 90.2% to 89.6%, FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUU. So I retook some online tests from months ago and managed to bring it back up to a 90.2% :wall:

I know what he's talking about if you remove the word arcshell. I found calc fairly easy though. I struggled more in grade 10 extension math than grade 12 math B (which contrary to popular belief, is harder than math C)

Yeah there's cylindrical shell and then there's arcs ... erm, I posted for some help a while back it's like this, but you have sin,cos,etc..

Today I made my end of the year art project, just a quick, relaxing time waster. I drew up a bunch of circles, lines, colored them in, repeated it four times into one big thing. It's too late to start over, and what I ended up with was an unintentional Confederate flag. My art teacher is black.

I washed my 2 cars .... Played BC2, and attempting to get 89 smithing.

 

Graduated college last week though =).
