Been busy as hell this weekend, which is actually really nice for a change. I bought Halo: Reach on Saturday and ended up only playing for about 2 hours since I helped my dad build something, then ended up going out to an extremely expensive restaurant, had $36 salmon. It was good, but certainly not worth that much. Then when I got home I played Reach. Today I played a lot of reach (finished the campaign) but I also helped my dad build some other stuff and attended my step-grandmother's (for lack of a better word) birthday. Luckily it was at my house, so I could slip away when I wanted to. Then I played more reach.

 

I did some other stuff too, I just can't think of it lol.

Wow, quality entertainment ITT. I feel like making a joke but it'd be pale in comparison.

Submitted two college applications today. Now all I can do is wait and hope for the best o.o

Went for an informal interview with a sparky this morning. He spent an hour doing a job that would have taken me 10 minutes, and he didn't even fix the pump. He told me how picky of a boss he is, and explained how he expects some things that I just do anyway without thinking. I was expecting he was going to be similar to a guy I worked for not long ago who needed everything to be absolutely perfect, efficient, and for me to constantly be busy, even if there was nothing to do. I told him I worked for someone who was much harder than him, and that I already had an apprenticeship offer with energex. He then asked me if I was just saying that to make myself look more employable...

 

He spent the rest of the talk trying to sell himself to me, talking up his boring domestic work and telling me he wants an apprentice but might not have enough work for me so I could be at home on minimum wage some of the time.

It's 7 AM and I got up two hours ago. This is probably the first time in a while that I've been up this early and not felt tired, excluding the times I just didn't sleep at all.

 

I have to go back to school today after being out for two days. I missed two tests and an essay due-date, so I've got a fun day ahead.

I've been lazing around the internet all morning, doing very little, having come down with Freshers Flu :(

I went from having no job for a year, to 4 opportunities at once. My step-dad's boss wants me to do dry-wall with his company, some guy is getting fired where my girlfriend works, my mom got me a job at a bowling alley in the kitchen, and a girl I babysit with told me someone quit at the movie store and she recommended me to the owner...

 

Dry-wall is hard, the hours are long, and the pay is $10.75/h.

The bowling alley is about 20 hours a week, easy enough, $9.25/h but my manager only speaks French.

My girlfriend's work is a grocery store: the hours are flexible (I can get from 10-40, pretty much my choice), and the pay is $9.25/h

The movie store would be the most fun: the people are cool, the hours are somewhat flexible, and it pays 9.25/h.

 

The movie store and grocery store aren't fo-sho, but the others are.

 

You guys pick for me. ;)

Go for the dry-wall choice. You will get physically fit and make a lot more over time than the other jobs.

All of those jobs sound pretty good though, compared to having no job.

Today has been kind of meh for me. Lazy day off, trying to hang out with some friends so I'm not lazing around all day; that probably won't be until around 9:00-10:00 PM though. So I guess that's not technically even the day anymore. Whatever, I'm rambling.

Had a shower but 30 minutes ago. In the morning. Morning showers suck. >_>
