Then got home and had an awesome dinner including a hamburger, tater tots, and Oreos. :P I just got back from a local music/movie/book store and bought Justice's "Cross" album, which is playing now. Furah Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 I have spent the last 6 days (Mon to Sat) in Bourke, an outback town in North Eastern NSW. It has been a real experience, as I went with some of my church to help run a children's program there. We only spent 3 of the days doing the program, as on Monday and Saturday we were traveling and doing anything on those days was out of the question (Bourke is 723km from the church) and on Tuesday we were at the local park getting to know some of the people. On the Monday night we met up with some of the Bourke church, and I found out that one of the guys there was a relative of mine! Odly enough there is a resemblence between us in looks, physique and laugh, even though we aren't closely related, but having having relatives out there really brightened me up, as some people respected me when they found out I was related to him. Me and my friends stood up on the stage after the program one day and got some tables, chairs and a microphone stand and pretended to be playing the songs that was playing through the speakers, we kept swapping around what instruments we were playing, when people started to notice I was on bass (lower half of microphone stand) my friend was on electric (upper half of microphone stand) and my other friend was on keyboard, it got recorded on video also had a few photos taken when I was on keyboard with some sunnies on. The person who recorded us up there added commentry, and called us Coldplay as Viva La Vida was playing at the time. Good games today, Dallas vs Spurs and Rockets vs Trailblazers should be fun to watch. But American History is nothing. We barely got to the Civil War, though. I don't think I've ever gotten past the Civil War in a history class. My knowledge after it is all my own. Dont worry, and just watch the history channle. Theres all ways something about any American war on there. So I get to the field, I get out of the car and my mom starts talking to me. I'm not paying any attention to my surroundings and I closed the door on my left index finger :(. Oh the pain... It was bleeding alot, and it hurt like [bleep]ing cabbage. I played like 10 minutes of the game because of this and I was really struggling. For this one level, the developers decided, "Hey, you get to fly a huge plane a thousand miles an hour through downtown Chicago! And you shoot tanks that are between buildings closer together than your wingspan!" AUUUGH. On another note, got my passport photo done at CVS today. It looks stupid, I was wearing pajama pants and a hoodie, and it actually looked like I'd been asleep on my face. Oh well. Just a stupid passport. I'm also SO DAMN READY for school to end. Then I'm going on a trip, and then next year I'll be a sophomore and I'll start driving, and this summer I'm getting a job ... Only bad thing is my brother is probably moving to Dallas at the end of May with his girlfriend. Really sucks. He's not even around very much, but he helps me out a lot more than my parents. Plus I was wanting him for when I have my leaners' permit, because he'd always drive around with me, but my parents probably won't ... Now everything keeps going sideways. Hah, I went to Busch Gardens and rode Shiekra a bajillion times :P A couple weeks ago when I went to vegas, I bought a variety pack of armani code, which included the eau de toilette, aftershave, and body wash. Well, I ran out of the body wash a couple days ago so I went to macy's to see if they sold it, since I really friggin love the smell of code. So I asked the lady if they sold it, she was like yes I'll go get it. Then she rung it up and was like "that'll be $30.95" and I was like "... holy crap," but she had already wrung it up and I actually did want it, just didn't want to pay so much, so I did buy it. Luckily it's a pretty big bottle, but I'm sticking with soap again after this thing runs out -.- But on the bright side, while looking up the proper name for cologne (I only remembered that it was eau something) on google, I found the armani clothing store. I decided to take a look to laugh at the insane prices, but it turns out they've got some pretty sweet clothes that aren't that expensive! Like, they've got this awesome polo that looks really comfy for $35, and a couple others for around $25-40. Although, the jeans are like $150. I'm sticking with school band in high school, 50% of the reason being because we get to go to awesome places like Hawaii and Washington DC and stuff every year or two.
