Last night i was laying in my bed, not being able to get to sleep and then i got thinking.. I sleep weird, atleast i think i do. When ever i see someone sleep or something, they are always laying on their back. I never understood how someone could do that.

 

 

 

So my question to you is, how do you sleep? Like, what is your sleeping position?

 

 

 

For me, i have to lay on my sides with my arm under my pillow then i rest my head on my arm/ pillow, OR i have to lay on my stomach with both my arm under my pillow.

 

 

 

Yeah I agree, I can only lay on my side.

I normally fold up my pillow cos my rents won't let me have 2 >.> and then I will constantly move until I nodd off... Then I wake up in the 4chan position sometimes... but I will wake up during the night as my pillow tends to slip foward down into the gap between the wall and the bed, very annoying -.-

I like to sleep with the pillow covering my face, but as far as sleeping positions just whatever is the most comfortable in the night

I always sleep on my side, with my arm under pillow. If it's cold I'll probably draw my knees up towards my stomach. I sleep weird. Lol :P

I sleep depending on how I want to dream. I've found that sleeping on my back results in dreams directly related to things that are on my mind, sleeping on my stomache results in dreams that are out of this world/trippy/make no sense, and sleeping on my side will make a nice mix of reality and insanity. Generally I fall asleep on my stomache, toss and turn when the sun comes up and wake up on my back. Crazy [cabbage] happens in the time between :?

Sometimes, I fall asleep on the wrong side of the bed...

 

 

 

Of course, I usually sleep facing the wall, one arm on the blanket, another under, another grasping the grenades.

i always fall asleep watching tv.

 

 

 

if i dont just pass out while watching a show, i usually fall asleep on my back.

I usually start on my right side, arm under pillow, with a fan on, one leg under covers, other over. Then every morning, I'm always on my stomache.

 

 

 

Fun story: when I was about 10, I was always afraid of burgalars/boogyman ( :D ), so I'd sleep with a katana (yes, a REAL one.) just in case : .

I usually sleep on my side with one arm under my pillow. If i am really tired i can sleep pretty much anyway, on my back, stomach, pretty much anyway that feels comfortable at the time. The one thing i cant stand when tryin to fall alseep is a tv or someone talking or something like that.

Anybody sometimes feel like they have trouble sleeping without some sort of dim light source on, or even the closet door shut?

I sleep different ways each night, I think. I don't really pay attention to it. I guess the most common is on my side, with my back to the wall though.

Foetus and free faller. I start with foetus and comfortably move into Free faller. And that personality thing is kinda screwed up :? . Even if it is a bit rich coming from me.

Interesting to hear all the different sleeping positions =P I personally just sleep on my back, otherwise I can't fall asleep and just end up lying there...

Theres always a set of actions I do before I sleep:

 

 

 

1. Rub my feet together (Im kinda paranoid about dust on my feet and don't want any of it on my mattress)

 

2. Fluff my pillow and put it straight

 

3. Lay on my back, legs above blanket and think about happy thoughts until I fall asleep.

 

 

 

I always find it very uncomfortable to start my "sleep" with my back facing the ceiling, but strangely I always wake up like that.

On my back..apparently this is a dying art.

I don't sleep too well. For years I used to sleep on my front-ish side with my elbow tucked under me, probably part of the reason why my back is so bad now. Now I sleep on my side but I have problems with tight muscles, and often wake up with numb arms.

 

 

 

It was scary the first couple times - I tried to shake it out and then thought somebody was hitting me in the face in the middle of the night, but it turned out to be my numb arms.

I either have to hug my bolster or be very,very tired to FALL asleep.After I do I roll a lot,sometimes I fall off the bed,and I've woken up by being hit by my things on the shelves.I always wake up on my back,though that may be because my parents rolled me back properly before waking me up.When I do wake up I hug my bolster for a while more to tense my muscles a bit.Sometimes,I fall asleep on my right,if I've been reading...It also happens if I was having a role-play in my mind. :ugeek:

 

 

 

My sleeping patterns are weird.I could easily sleep 3am-6am and be all hyper the next day,but could just as easily go 6pm-6pm and fall asleep soon after.Even without work/school...
