I wasn't even trying to get it and I doubt I've killed over 1000. Don't worry, you'll get one eventually. And trust me, you're definitely not the only one around your level that's never gotten one. I say 'lucky' because they are the only rare things I've found--I mean I would rather have a dragon/barrow/any-other-rare drop (which I've never gotten) than the scrolls. I'm only level 110, but I trained on the relevant monsters to obtain the scrolls while getting in some training. They certainly aren't the best monsters for training or drops, so most people are right in avoiding them. The rewards for obtaining the scrolls and defeating the champions aren't worth the effort either. Except for the personal desire to obtain the whole collection of champion banners (which no one else can even see) or just the personal satisfaction of completing the mini-game (until they introduce new champions), I'd advise not spending the time to seek them out-let them come through the course of normal gameplay. doc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Just a note, I was training on these monsters, dont really care about getting these scrolls, that's why they're still just sitting in my bank.) I spent all day there, and next morning logged on and killed maybe 100 more before giving up. So, I went to kill lessers for the 25k xp I needed for a defense level, seeing as how they dropped scrolls. The second one I killed dropped one. =D> This was at 106 or 107 combat. I havent been activly hunting fo rthose, but I HAVE been activly hunting for the Ghoul Champion Scroll... I have lost track after 7500 kills (The chance of one dropping is roughly 1/5000), but having 1700 Gold Charms, which is a 1 in 5 drop, says something :) Its known that higher level monsters drop them easier then lower level monsters... 1-2k imps is nothing... If you really want one, expect to be there till you have the 4k kill count half a dozen times ALL ON IMPS... I gave up on getting a head from abyssal demons. Recently I got a head though. I probably killed 10k of them and dropped 50 whips since that came out. I've killed like 200 zombies before smoking kills burthorping tasks and I got a scroll. If they were as common as ham robes, would you still want them? Heck no. It's like for girls. If you want a girl to like you, then you have to be difficult to get. If you're always so damn desperate for her to talk to you, so easy to get, then you're just like ham robes. And as we all know, no one wants ham robes. Not for more than 5 minutes anyway. It drives me crazy that I'm missing just one song, and there's one aspect of runescape that I have yet to experience yet that's within my ability (I'm not restricted by levels) someone could only play members for like 2 days and experience something that I haven't, kinda bugs me. Ngorge Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 The scrolls are purely for completion's sake as one other has mentioned, though who knows if there will be an update.... 200 Skeletons 2k Earth Warriors (not a bad source of crimson charms if you are just looking to train) 1.5k Hill Giants 4k Lesser Demons 500 Hobgoblins 17.3k Jogres (camped there after charms came out for golds, took forever) Haven't managed to get any of the others, and I'm guessing imp will be the last one. I spent HOURS a day, every day, and finally gave up. I want to calculate how many thousands of goblins that is but i don't want to remember that waste of time. Yeah they're just a little rare.
