What was your first nooblike mistake on runescape.

 

Mine was when I first joined because you couldn't talk on tutorial island I thought that you had to get into a chat by pressing a button so I went around asking how to talk.

Haha! I had a problem similar to yours. When I first started 4 years ago, I didn't know how to talk. Then I noticed that if I just typed something and pressed enter, it'd come up on the chatbox. :oops: :lol:

a nooby mistake...Psh non-noobs don't make nooby mistakes. i can tell you my most recent was quitting for a yr when my acc was only banned for ~1month

Back in Classic, like 6 years ago, I was trying to sell some nooby armour at the fishing platform on Karamja. At the time I only knew that place and how to get from there to Draynor and back (for certs). Some guy told me to go to Varrock to sell my armour, so I did it to prove a point that I could. Bad move, I was lost for days before I managed to get back to Karamja. Think how small the map was back then, compared to now. :lol:

I had my brand new addy armour with a frog hat(dream outfit back then), and I tried to get wine of zammy because some1 at the front told me he would give me 10k for it. I tried and dies and guit rs for 4 months.

Probably when I was a very nooby player, I made my first account "zappy" And I played for a few hours ( i was age 9 at the time btw) I was so extatic when I got 'Staff' the plain useless thing, I showed it off every where, then, I got pk'ed :( sad moment, so I made a new account (Zappy2) And I played for a while, but didn't like how I looked, So i made a Zappy3. I got to level 4 or so then Quit for a while, around november I came back with a ne account (shivers) but that didn't work either, I think I got killed by a cow, then shivers21 was born (21 = zappy2 + zappy 1 and I liked the numer 21 more then 12. btw, shivers is a nickname that my dad gave me at the time, because I was always wearing shorts, even in december ;p

 

 

 

but another one would be when TT's came out, and I bought black (g), but lost it to one of those "trust" games.

I didn't realize that the bank on tutorial island didn't actually put anything in the bank on the main land so I killed a few men and died a few times not realizing that I lost all my stuff until I tried to bank :wall:

My first mistake was in 2002ish when I was like level 10, and I couldn't find anything so I just wondered around with all my stuff in my inv. I walked into the scorpion pit, and died easily because of the 3 hit rule.

 

 

 

Another mistake I remember was my first time near the wilderness, I had my first set of full addy, my money and a bunch of fish I was trying to sell. I saw some guy and decided to attack him, he ran and I chased after him without healing, and he came back and attacked and killed me with a r2h.

someone told me that i could have 4 mystic robes tops if i just let them kill me in wildy wearing nothing but a whip...i agreed....picked up the 4 mystic tops...got killed and lost whip...never trusted anyone who want to make a wildy video...

Though you could pk everywhere

None of the classical sense whatsoever. When I was level 15ish though, sporting my new steel equipment or similar, I went in the wild and got bsed. I ran, but some people ganged upon me and there, I lost my new fortune. It didn't strike me as big as a loss since it was partly self-made. :mrgreen: A pity I had to start a new acc later.

i was like lvl 20 at the time (early 05), but i was wandering around varrock and lumbridge and found these stone henges, then i see a dark wizard attacking me and i die, lost lots of stuff like my shrimp net and all the stuff you got off tutorial island, i spent ages looking for everything back even tho someone really nice gave me theirs when i respawned, plus i discovered the varrock general store :D

Same with me, i kept on walking around asking everyone what my CB lvl was...

 

 

 

Oh and i wallked into Bounty hunter Wearing Full Addy G when i was a mere lvl 44... bad move....

trying to attack one of them "whipping trees" when i was lvl 3, with all cash on me (600gp or so) and i was devisated lol

I was asking what my combat level was and where the bank was (There wasn't 1 in Lumbridge when I started) and I really wanted people to give me 10gp so I could get through Al Kharid gate not knowing that goblins gave you money. Good times. :lol:

Wandered too close to dark wizards in varrock stone circle, resulting in a quick ticket back to lumbridge... without my iron full. Meh.

well at first i didn't know how to talk either, but that's not the first mistake i made. the first error i committed (i'm sure i'm not alone :lol: ) was to save up my hard-earned cash to buy some goblin armour, and then i found out i couldn't wear it! :twss:

I remember when I first started playing, neither I nor any of my mates knew how to check our combat so when we met we'd ask what combat we were lol.

My first noob mistake was finding this game... Lol... Jk :

 

 

 

Well, i think it was going in draynor sewer with my full bronze!

 

I got K0ed by the zombies down there... :

Naming my char Dogwashere instead of Resonae (I thought I would quit after a few hours so didn't bother getting a cool name)

 

 

 

Although that's not really a problem for me, what really takes the cabbage is the fact that I had 100k's worth of stuff without realizing it and only found out about merchanting AFTER the trade limit. Go figure.
