What IS a "safe" pvp world?

Sorry for a stupid question, but - do such worlds exist? :o

no, but alot of people want it.

It'd break the game. If you were about to die, you could just have a friend kill you and respawn with all your items.

Well.. I'm sure Jagex would make it so that would only happen if players do more than 50% damage on the player, and not a monster doing more than 50% damage on that player.

You don't lose your items if you die.

I presume that would mean you dont get a drop either?

otherwise the whole "safe pvp" thing would be seriously [developmentally delayed]ed

Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,

I like to think I walk this line every day.

Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man.

You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if it were people who wanted to use the best of the best armor and weapons and stuff.

They'd have to make it so that you couldn't get any drops, which would just essentially make it a big potion/food waste, eh?

Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.

It would be really nice, in JaGEx's release about PvP they even said like "Wouldnt it be nice if you could kill someone if you wanted their wcing spot" But that doesnt really exist, everyone just 1 items if they are skilling in PvP worlds and there is no competition.

This.

Thanks for quoting what was said and adding a word to point to the quote, like we're all retarted.

OT : The only way I can see this being implemented is if they take all the monsters out of the world, even then, would be kinda pointless, so, it wont happen.

We have clan wars, castle wars and/or duel arena. That is enough. As a PKer myself, I find it enough to have the PvP worlds and the bounty hunter alone. I don't want any aspect of PvP being emulated but without the risk. That's just silly

Stupid idea. I'm getting pretty sick of people demanding Runescape to be Candyland. Everything has warnings, even leaving the Duel Arena? What?

Learn to PK with the risks or don't PK at all. Simple as that.

What in the hell is this even supposed to mean? A PvP world... that is safe. How do you make a SAFE pvp world?!

Go back to rsc, duel anywhere..Safe pvp doesnt work =\

Exactly, too may people would abuse that system. Just like RSC 'duel anywhere'.

If you want safe PvP, go to Castle Wars, Fight Pits, Fist of Guthix, and Duel Arena. Other than that, I don't see why a safe PvP world should ever be made.

If you want non safe pvp world go to bounty hunter , oh wait you had an option and they made a pvp worlds ...

Most ppl are afraid of losing items on death ... if there is a Save pvp world you can at least go and kick some but without fighting a person who has only dds. They can make +25% bonus exp for the skills ... that way the worlds will be popular , and the nerds who like to kill skillers can do it outside of wildy.

I'd like the safe PVP worlds. Could set up some massive wars where everyone is wearing their best stuff, could be a lot of fun. Not to mention, I can skill and kill all of the lower levels because they're chopping my tree. lol just sounds like fun

I think there should be some minor drop. Like, bones varying with different prayer xp depending on the level of the person maybe. (though, it's clear that this is pretty prone to abuse, so drops would be a bad thing.)

I love clan wars ffa, which is basically safe pking. i'd love to do it all over Runescape though

People who like safe pvp aren't cowards. They just don't like the loot/lose stuff aspect of dangerous pvp. They like the thrill of killing someone with a 75+ ags spec, or a 40-40 dds spec.

People like me and many others.

It might get a little quiet in that world though, lol.

edit: almost missed a dark bow drop I got while typing this :3
