Blutters Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 a mod deleted my post after i was trying to stop everyone from flaming 3hit...seriously, you guys are like so good at doing your job. anyways: Can you take borrowed items into PVP? yes. they rose 21k -.- it's a 250k item. if you're familiar with the ge, they rise depending on the trade price by 5%. Where am I unable to take a borrowed item? The only place that you cannot take a borrowed item is into the Bounty Hunter minigame. In addition to this, though, there are few places that you cannot borrow or lend an item: * Duel Arena and Duel Tournaments * Chamber of Koschei the Deathless, beneath Rellekka * Barbarian Assault * Tears of Guthix * PvP worlds Ummmm.... I was letting people borrow my claws at the duel arena.... Maybe they mean deuls with stakes and not friendly ones, though (I only ever do friendly duels). You can't take lent items into Bounty Hunter while you can take them to the other places, but you can't make the actual transaction while in them (for mini-games, I'm assuming this means you can't make the transaction while actually playing the game, but you can still lend things in the lobby to be used in the game). I hope that was clear enough to be understood... So much false information going around these forums that it's just ridiculous- if you are not 100% certain of something- just do not post, like for instance mister *i like defending 3hitu*. As far as i've seen so far, they seem quite reasonable as the new animal masks- only that they are going up much faster and can only be obtained by experienced players, i'd be surprised if they didn't peak at above 5m, but it may aswell happen seeing how many people are madly doing quests atm. And sure, I'd love to destroy you. :lol: Today I downed a 129 but I had Ags, too. They're faster than an AGS & their spec can do more damage than an AGS. Most of the time, they hit pretty well on armour. Them, however used with an AGS is a combination set for killing. Dds can poison and only takes up %25 and is also cheaper, while this hits 4 times and takes up %50 and it's hard to find somone selling it..... Cha0sx Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Dragon claws Slice and Dice Four very quick attacks performed at once, with a good chance of inflicting a lot of damage. Dragon claws possibly increase the chance of damage compared to regular hits through this wording. Dragon claws absolutely destroy ags specs most of the time. Ags is much less inaccurate (I have tested with both, own the dclaws borrowed the ags). There is no specific pattern to the dclaw attacks, so don't say 1/2 the first hit and that bs. Guess it's time to get a pair and try it myself.... It doesn't say in the kb description anything more than a 25% damage increase, and from my experience with ags, the spec has horrible accuracy. However, maybe I just need 99 attack. I still find at my level, Dragon Claws many, many, MANY times more accurate for hitting on people, especially people with decent armour on. I did kill someone who had ags but that was without armor which is a whole other story. I think ags would be better than d claws if both people had armor. Sure, the claws are nice on somebody wearing no armor or rune... but then I started to fight people wearing full torags/bandos, and then It got harder and harder to hit, but I could be wrong as I only have 90 attack. I then went to the clan wars FFA and potted before each spec, but was still a bit disappointed, as the spec rarely did more than 30-40 damage to anyone wearing decent armor. The AGS in my opinion can deal more damage per spec and is more accurate, but the drawback is the time between specs allows the foe to flick on melee prayer and eat up to 2 sharks.. thus eliminating the efficiency of the special attack. Another reason why I like the dragon claw special is that you attack from such a far distance, I had several people put on protect from range because they thought I was ranging them from afar... :D Overall: I would buy a pair of d claws if they settled around 1-2m.. otherwise they're not that great. Besides, as a normal weapon without the spec, they're hardly better than a dds, while the AGS is good all around. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
