Esper_Jones
Combat brace lets you keep track of slayer tasks much easier than if you were to track kills or xp. Zaaps1
Oh yeah and DRAGON LONGSWORD awesome spec and better than scimmy for pvp situtations like bounty hunter and duel arena Fail spec, DDS is better. Lower DPS, scimmy is better. D long is fail. no, your a pure, your idea is biased, the Dscim is horrible. The d long has 4 specials in 1 bar that each boost the attack by 25%. combined with super sets, and prayer the d long is amazing. But it's true. It's proven that the Dscim gives better xp/hour than Dlong. No one cares about the special since DDS beats them both as spec weapons, so if you were to train anywhere you'd bring a DDS to spec and not a Dscim/Dlong. And I'm pretty sure the special bar drain is 50% on the Dlong spec. ~It's Super Effective! Psycho_Robot
Combat brace lets you keep track of slayer tasks much easier than if you were to track kills or xp. I use them over barrows gloves when I'm lazy. I always use combat bracelets. I use the updates to remind myself when to pot up again (every 20 kills). I also hate not knowing how long I have to go before the task is over. I never use barrows gloves on slayer tasks because I always use combat bracelets. UserOnRS
And I'm pretty sure the special bar drain is 50% on the Dlong spec.Nope 25%. The spec isn't very good though as it has a delay in between specials like the mace and doesn't have the bonus of poison like the dagger. You're much more likely to do more damage with 8 hits rather than 4. The only time I'd use a combat brace is if I was ranging where you couldn't use void. I can't give up the great bonuses of barrows gloves for a small convenience. I just use my slayer ring periodically. I don't see many people use the regen brace though. I always prefer it over barrows gloves when soloing rex (most pures use adamant gloves other it even though the brace is more useful). Not really an item as such, but little tricks such as timing on drinking potions or picking bones up in between hits are small things which can speed you up a lot on tasks which people don't do. The Bandos Godsword's special really is underrated, 10% extra strength (AGS is 25% I believe)? and a good special or two can help your whole team take down bosses a lot easier. Even in PVP I've seen a good special and constant hitting without misses for a many hits in a row.

PlzPuddngPlz
SARADOMIN SWORD! Evil!!! I'll be forced to protest that last point. I've had many a rush acting like a scavanger, then switching to it when attacked, flicking prayer on, and specing. 4hit kills? This also netted me my best pvp drop; an addy plate and a mage longbow :P I know. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Suggestions appreciated This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew". Napalm
Fire Cape ... Dragonfire Shield Defenders ... Cannon I can mostly see how the rest of the items you posted are over-rated, but fire cape is the best cape ingame, I think, DFS has good defence bonuses while it also has the best strength bonus for the shiled slot. Defenders are good for people who want attack and strength bonus for free in the shield slot, and the cannon is good for speeding up slayer tasks. Also, not sure if it has been posted already, but Dragon Battleaxe special + regular stat restore potion is great for killing monsters. Sure, you lose the chance to use damaging special attacks, but you save alot of money you would waste on super strength potions otherwise.

SwreeTak
The game necklace is another underrated item. You can use it to teleport close to the BH bank and it's much cheaper than the Dual ring. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
joke33
I use it to reach Heroes guild for fast glory recharges (house in Yanille). It is actually very useful, I have loads of it in bank. I don't think it's that underrated at all, though Duel rings are more used. I think Skills necklace is more underrated than Games necklace. It has very convenient Cook's guild teleport what teleports you right near GE and the other guild teleports are good too. My Blog of pure... Uhmm... Well... sparky1_2007
im going to have to say that the blessed spirit shield is wayyy under-rated, because it is only 15-20ish points less in defensive stats than the DFS, but it makes up for it with +3 prayer and 0 range attack bonus, where the dfs is like -5. and it's alot cheaper too ;) i have a dfs currently, but im probably going to trade it back for my BSS so i can free up some funds for my skills :P note this pic: BSS = ~3m DFS = ~16m retired 12-31-

langer
Super strength potions are not a waste. Especially if you use your spec to heal hp and prayer (SGS, granite mace, excalibur enhanced) or hit more or harder (dds, BGS, AGS, d long, d mace, d claws...etc). IMO, using d baxe spec is a waste of other spec available. DragonSam
Torag Hammers, people treat them like crap when they can actually do decent damage. I just had my first encounter with Waterfiends (as a Slayer task) and used these. They do third best crush damage in the game (leaving out the hour-degrade and Stealing Creation items) and they're faster than mauls, warhammers or battleaxes. And they're under 100k. Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil.
