Apparently, I am a defence noob, a farcaster noob, a healing noob and a prayer noob. I have been called these quite often, and I'm happy to be a defence noob, it's always better than being a dead noob. - :?

 

 

 

The point is... people call each other 'x noob' to cover up their failure. Apparently it wasn't HIS fault that that he just died, it was his opponents fault... for being such an "Attack Noob" and hitting too often. It's basically a variation of the blame game. Most of the time, when someone calls you a "something noob", it means you are better than them at that "something". :wall: #-o

 

 

 

Why did Jagex put bandages in a game? So we can use them. But apparently, my opponent here.. JimmyBobJoe says that Jagex made bandages for nerds!

 

 

 

Because of this, quite often, people get embarrassed and completely stop praying and stop training defence and even stop far-casting... whereas a mage simply cannot win a fight without farcasting. I even got called a HP Noob! Apparently training your HP is for noobs too now! We need to stop training hp, otherwise we're all noobs!@

 

 

 

I created this thread to make one point clear. -Do what you want-. That's why they are there. Without them, RuneScape would be boring because everyone would be doing the exact same thing. Just simply ignore people like JimmyBobJoe (who btw doesn't exist). After all, you are a noob forever, everything you do can be used in a noob context.

The author of this is absolutely right. People don't like to think they can be killed. They like to think they are invincible and, should anyone beat them, they were cheated somehow by the one who killed them. This is a common mentality of TEENAGERS and younger. When the world is harsh to them they'll blame it on anyone but themselves as they feel they are immortal and nothing should ever go wrong in their lives. They simply carry it on over to Runescape.

 

 

 

I am a Hitpoint, Defense, Strength, Attack, Prayer, Summoning, Food, Potion, etc etc noob and proud of it. If I can take down 10 opponents before I die once, because of my defense, then GO ME for training my defense and BOO THEM for being childish and not training something in order to try to prove their "manhood."

 

 

 

Let's face it: It's a bunch of internet geeks. If you're going to try to put someone down for doing something smart in their gameplay tactics then maybe you should rethink your life. You're not being mature nor smart online. I'd hate to see how you act in the comfort of your real life.

I always turn public friends/off when I go pvp or pvp-minigames just because of this reason.

Let's see... I am balanced noob/total level noob, QP noob, non-pking noob, good grammar noob, hunter noob, and 3-letter-named-account-owning noob. (Seriously, someone called me a noob just today because my pure account has only 3 letters in its name... how's that possible)

Got called a def noob once at 70 defence, fighting a level 125. That was funny.
