People seem to forget that in addition to the 60k agil per hour (which is comparable to Ape Atol)... You ALSO get 23-26k RANGE xp per hour, something you dont get at Ape Atol...

 

 

 

At my best judgement, this has become the best Agility Course out there, especially for the medium range levels who happen to fall anyways at courses such as the Wilderness and Ape Atol...

Definetly doing it if it's over 50k an hour, just don't lile dorge with all the camera spinning and it's length, this course looks fun.

If it's 62k exp/h max (as someone calculated on the 1st page), then the Dorgesh-kaan course is still the best with 67.5k exp/h max.

Its been nerfed to 380xp per lap.

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

I am actually pleased to hear that the amount of exp you get from the new agility course was lowered, since I didn't really like it. Short courses with lots of clicking just don't suit me, I suppose. :) Now, I can go back to the much more fun Dorgesh-Kaan course and train there while knowing that it's still the best way of getting agility exp.

Huh. glad I got 72 Agility before it got nerfed. I don't think I would've bothered.

You've got to be kidding me. They actually release a useful new agility course, which also happens to be the only USEFUL thing to come out of the quest, and they nerf it? Hell when I saw the system update I thought it was going to be to reduce the fail rate, because at 75 agility, I still failed that course so [bleep]ing often that I just threw up my hands and gave up, yet 75 agility is somehow the no-fail level for the course intended to be "superior".

 

 

 

And I love how they said "you wouldn't want to do the same course over and over". Indeed. I'm a more than a little tired of running the same ape atoll course over and over, especially since I'm spending lots on super energies since I can't use familiars there. How about stop releasing useless mid-level courses? People are going to pick the best course and stick to that one. They're not going to have their preferences when there is obviously going to be one superior over the other. That's why you see absoloutly nobody at the penguin course, the old goblin course, the werewolf course... need I continue?

Wow. When I first heard of this, I was excited at the prospects of using it later on, but I guess Jagex doesn't want to give people with high agility any more places to train (even if it's a reward for an "experienced" quest). Personally, I would have just made the requirement to use it at about 75 or 80 agility and just left it how it was. I think we had enough low-mid level agility courses as it was.

 

 

 

Although, I am still curious as to the new exp rates there and whether or not they nerfed the strength and ranged exp from the grapples too. It might be advantageous to train there if you can train three skills at once for a fairly large amount of total exp/hour.

The old goblin course... you mean the dorgen one? I train there, it's awesome exp

This really disappoints me. They make a good agility course. Then it seems to good because you can get range and strength experience. Instead of nerving the range/strength experience, which in my opinion is too much, (25k per hour for doing another skill) they nerf the agility experience. Good job JaGEx -.-

Fun course, xp needed nerfed bad since it was tarnishing one of only two capes that are grueling to master (runecrafting being the other).

 

I mean come on you got the circus, ape atoll with the world 46 team, and the dorg powerstation to train effectively at.

 

I can remember running alone for 3 months straight at the ape atoll course to get 99.

 

 

 

My dream for agility since they won't just outright use it as a gatekeeper to rewarding areas would be to merge runecrafting and agility together on a course.

 

Have an altar (like ourania or soul) in the middle of the course and a npc at the ends who could unote your ess and send your runes to the bank.
