In Bruge is a great film, two great Irish actors. Brendan Gleeson in "The Guard", which most of you won't get unless you are living in Ireland with Don Cheadle was just unreal...But as said, unless you are from here most of the jokes will go over your head, but by far the funniest film I've seen in many, many years...If not the funniest. It's definitely a pretty cool concept to make a movie on, but after about half way, it died. I thought it was like the story was told from day to day, and then I find that it jumps huge sections unexplained. The ending was too sudden as well, and it was a poor finish to the film. 2/5. The final battle with Voldemort had about 45 seconds of screen time. There were some pretty good bits though and some good lines from Maggie Smith. 6.5/10 The Mechanic: An ok film but when the film finished I realised that not a lot had actually happened in the film and pretty much everything was crammed into the last 30 minutes. 6/10 Falling Down: Good film about a man who notices flaws in today's society so decides to do something about it, violently, all while he's trying to get to his ex-wife's house to see his daughter on her birthday. I kinda thought it was just trying to copy that whole 'crazy mess with your brain' type style that Inception had. Inception, I think, did a better job of it. So, 3/5.
