But that's only because when I first started watching it I didn't know it was a black comedy. Haha great. 4/5 I would say, maaaaybe a 4.5/5.I take this back. Easy 5/5.I love this movie after thinking about it.So great. I feel like watching it again. Dead Man. Another awesome movie. I really like the style the director used with the long transitions and slow paced parts.The slow pace wasn't boring unlike most of Kubrick's films, it almost reminded me of Enter The Void.The only thing that was a bit strange was the end. In regards to the bounty hunter at least, I felt it was really almost anti climactic.But it still worked really well with the rest of the movie.Johnny Depp is great in this movie. Carl Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 Just in from Captain America...It was enjoyable, although a tad too far-fetched...But I suppose, that's to be expected in a Marvel movie. I couldn't rate it, as it's each to their own when it comes to movies and preferences...But certainly worth going to see (You pretty much have to go see it!) if you plan on viewing The Avengers. We waited around until the credits were over, for The Avengers movie trailer...It looked rather epic! May 2012 release! It could easily have been 10-20 min longer, the ending was a bit too quick and easy. I'd put 7 or 8 on it out of 10. The Perfect Vagina (documentary). Kinda interesting subject (plastic surgery on the vagina), but i turned off after about 10min. She who made this documentary was too anti/unbiased and only saw negatives with this subject. I really don't like documentaries who take sides, at least not as strongly as she did. Some of the stuff I found a little too heavy handed, like the emotional scenes...they felt somewhat forced. 5.5/10 127 Hours That was pretty good. I'd heard good things and had been meaning to watch it, glad I got around to it. I liked it.Zookeeper- Probably the best talking animal movie I have seen, not that that's saying much.Friends with Benefits- Better than expected, but still not great.Priest- I couldn't remember a thing about this one before it started, but it was pretty good. I also rewatched the second and third Harry Potters and the Naked Guns... And saw Kick-Ass again. I think there is more, but that's all I can think of for now. In Bruges 4/5Like a modern Shakespeare. I quite enjoyed the humor and thought the ending was a little rough for being so upbeat(ish) the whole film.
