February 8, 201115 yr Name? and which world? This could a be a great way to make money hahaName Prod44 he was getting people in world 70, he was just testing it before so he might have decided against it. The annoying thing being a runner was waiting for a trade, reminds me of my law running in 2006 lol. Hmm why would you spend 5B on 99 when you could easily get 95 or 97 with talismans/tiaras then effigie it. He was REALLY lazy but I suggested that he try to cave crawler starting at 80. Why not just camp at Frosts and get the bones yourself? That way no matter how high the price goes, you'd still be able to get 200m prayer. Suomi's been thinking about doing that himself for awhile. Drum said earlier that if you try camp frosts for a long time you'll get crashed so many times that you will start to wonder why you are playing this game Merchants are actually smart and make their money more methodically and never really lose any money they makeStakers can stake smart. Simply do like what people do in casinos and if you lose double your stake the next time until you do win and you win your original stake, you could even tripple up if you want a bit more risk. inbe4 jagex starts selling rs gold for $ lol Quote Jagex because we don’t want you to be able to buy your way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for other playersSaw this on rsof about a year ago when someone suggested it
February 8, 201115 yr duke freedom and cursed you didnt cheat, selling cash is not cheating, its just not legal
February 8, 201115 yr I cant even imagine the trouble and unrest it would cause if Jagex sold gp. An honest player could skill etc to afford 99 prayer for months/weeks then a spolit little brat comes along and gets it without any work. Ofcourse this provides little satisfaction for the gp buyer but devalues many skills and aswell as genuine players.
February 8, 201115 yr @page 223: Ty for all them suggestions guys :) I'll try to get a farming routine going + mix up between tds and frosties I guess...but either way, 200m prayer is simply unreachable for me the way things stand, so will have to start my other goals first and hopefully something will happen in the meanwhile that makes it possible again for me to get 200m prayer. :D Also, I've never staked nope, would need alot of luck to make money there haha :P If Jagex would sell rs gp that would be hilarious and brilliant, seeing as I'd be able to afford it due to irl merching lolol! That would infact get me 200m prayer, though im sure the buyable skill resources would skyrocket in price which would cause a major uproar from the 'poor irl' rs player. So, don't see this happening haha XD http://www.youtube.com/user/DeskDrumGun?feature=mhee My Yt chan, still under construction :)
February 8, 201115 yr so will have to start my other goals first and hopefully something will happen in the meanwhile that makes it possible again for me to get 200m prayer. :D Wats that "other goals"?
February 8, 201115 yr i was wondering if Skiller 703 is doing the Cave Crawler thing..Nah hes at frosts. :
February 8, 201115 yr Apparentely Andrew Gower, Paul Gower, and Constant Tedder left the Jagex board of directers and were replaced in part by 2 people from the Raine investment group. They also just recently received another investment from them. Just thought that since you were currently talking about RWT and all, that I'd throw it in that they're now even more controlled by people focused on money. Apparently this also happened 2 months ago, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were correlated with the return of the wilderness and all the glitches left in staking and stoof. But I'm becoming a conspiracy theorist now . Simply do like what people do in casinos and if you lose double your stake the next time until you do win and you win your original stake, you could even tripple up if you want a bit more risk. theres nothing smart, thats not a trick or anything odds are odds, every stake you enter has 50% chance, so theres not a single "staking strategy" to make it so you will make money lets put it this way, if 100 people entered a world and all started staking, and every one of them did this, theyd all make money right? wrong just as much is lost as is gained, theres no trick to a 50 50 chance
February 9, 201115 yr i remember watching rsc videos of stakers and they would be madly switching items/prays every second. that's when staking was exciting, and there would be a crowd of people watching. the stakes were usually for dragon baxe or dragon longs or dragon squares though haha.

Plus, I've seen some people who are just good at the game (maybe experienced is a better word)There are some who can pray flash really well - time things so that they don't lose out on hitting when eating, etc.I've never done these things myself - but if you're focused enough and actually try to observe some of this stuff, that would definitely put you ahead in staking. EDIT: To clarify - I wasn't talking about only boxing but all types of staking

February 9, 201115 yr Getting crashed at Frosts happens once, twice at most a day. You guys are making it sound like it's impossible to kill them when it's still 4M+ gp an hour, crashed or not lol.

Its maybe 4m cash/h but not all is profit. Around 2.5-3m/h profit if meleeing 2m/h afk ranging  1593th to 99 Farming - July 08.

Since free trade they've shot back up from 15k to 20k+ and 4m p/h profit is about right for melee. And I rarely get crashed there, I would imagine a 138 with overloads would be even less likely to be crashed. Also people forget there is more than 1 effective spot, everybody seems to go to south west.

It's easily 200 bones an hour for me which is 4,6M if I sell at 23k each. Meaning it is 4m+ not counting supplies.
February 9, 201115 yr Safespot cannon ranging can be more kills per hour than melee if done correctly
